Here's a few others:
Kick Ass - the characters would work really well, especially Big Daddy and Hit Girl.
Clash of the Titans - "Release the Kraken" is a can't miss line.
Despicable Me - its a Universal film, has 2 potential villains, a theme park tie in and some great lines. Imagine where "It's so Fluffy" can go.

I just remembered something.
A while back someone, Chad I think, posted that Universal had renewed their trademark on the name "Festival of the Dead". This led many to suspect and/or hope for a return of the parade this year. These hopes were soon dashed however when it was pointed out quite succinctly that logistics would make the parade nearly impossible to carry off, most notably the gates through which the floats would have to emerge and return backstage would be blocked off by the queue areas for the houses as they now stand.
But now that we know that there will be a scarezone with an apparent Mardi Gras theme in San Francisco it may just be that the name Festival of the Dead has been re-secured by Universal so that they may name this new scarezone in honor of the old parade.
Thus the scarezone would encompass many themes from the original parade which appeared in 1996. Now go to the HHN website in the Legacy section click on Early Years and then click on the first video which shows that first parade from 1996 and what do you see?
Many parade scareactors including attractive bare chested men and scantily clad ladies dressed as masked demons, witches, skeletons etc. all tossing out Mardi Gras beads.
It was all themed to match a haunted New Orleans Mardi Gras! This could easily be adapted into our new scarezone.
Definitely think you are on the right track plus it fits the area well. Its the type of scarezone that could take having a huge crowd move through it without disruption.

Sure would be nice to post about the new website update in the website update thread... but it's locked.
Yep. Character section is now active.
About 3-4 videos and a bunch of photos. Including some minor characters as well, not just the major ones.

My 2 cents on the DOW. I don't know if this has been discussed in the thread previously but I think DOW is an abbreviation for "Disciple of W???". Reasoning behind this is the casting, a specific look is required which would be consistent on how they handled certain disciples previously (ie The Caretakers disciples specifically).
Just some conjecture.

The pre-dinner interested me the most. We did something similar at Knott's Haunt the two times we've been - they offered an upgrade package to your ticket which gave you a great buffet (Mrs. Knott's fried chicken and Boysenberry pie - mmmm), a refillable drink container and early entry similar to Stay n Scream. The buffet location was inside the park so once you were done eating you could walk outside into Ghost Town and interact with the actors up front before your early entry.
Always thought Universal should do the same thing and hopefully they will.

I'm wondering what the FFP+ and FFP+ with Express will cost with the AP holder discount.
Most likely be purchasing one anyways since I go most every FFP available evening.

One hint - don't mix Hollywood casting with Orlando casting. The events have similarities but since this is 20 in Orlando the similarities won't be as pronounced.
Back to the shadows.

Its a solid update - my only complaint is its a bit slow and choppy with the video assets. Love that the queue videos for Castle Vampyr and Hellgate Prison make an appearance.
The historical section is a different way to present the "files" from the previous websites. More web 2.0 style actually.

Odds are heavily in our favor we'll be seeing the Black Widow and Whiplash - the material is just too good.

The standing stones remind me of Spinal Tap for some reason.

Somthing strange on the HHN 2010 page...Type Halloween Horror Nights 2010 orlando second link down (and it's the official page) say's this under the link
Explore the Islands of Adventure that include 7 new haunted houses, the Festival of the Dead Parade, and Scare Zones - Urrm im confused as to why this is there? as the link takes you to the page that has not been updated and they are not using islands... am i being dumb or is it a previous year sorry if im being stupid just thought it was weird
Someone most likely used the wrong description for the page. When you look at the placeholder Overview and FAQ they both state the event is at the Studios. Its a weird combination however.

Potter should have a positive impact due to the cross-marketing.
The typical "Come Back Tonight for HHN" is going to be seen by many more people than usual. The only problem I see is that Potter is scheduled to be open later to accommodate crowding so it may not close until 9 or 10pm if they shift the schedule that much. Plus Forbidden Journey has a 6-7 hour queue that could get filled taking several hours past closing to clear out.

They got a late start with getting physical media (billboards, etc) up for Potter. After they recover from the 18th HHN should fast track.

Boris is still alive, has a nice home in Amity actually. (I'm not kidding, for the boat ride portion of LT they pointed out his home as part of the event)
I doubt he would have anything to do with the lantern however. I am hoping that LT makes its return to investigate the paranormal activities associated with the park once again.
