  1. I honestly don't want to see "Stranger Things" at HHN. I'm super in love with the show and was Nancy for Halloween. But it's really just that I don't think there's enough maze content. And part of what was good about the show anyways was that we didn't really see the Demogorgon in all its glory until closer to the end of the show. The suspense and mystery made it "scary" (I phrase it that way because personally, I didn't find it to be scary. I know people were raving about it being scary though.)

Idk, was this the same backstory as Jacks, I'm not knowledgeable on those types of things

It's not at all the same backstory.

From the HHN website: "Eli Roth Presents Terror Tram will expose guests to the fabled legacy of serial killer clown “Hollywood Harry,” the story of a former jovial celebrity clown turn depraved murderer, and the minefield of carnage he left behind. The all-new Terror Tram experience follows the sordid tale of former Los Angeles resident Harold Kappowitz whose alter ego “Koodles the Clown” went from cheerful circus performer, to the lovable star of his own children’s network television show before he was overcome by his genuine killer instincts."

  3. I definitely forgot Pigman and I've watched the video like five times today. Oh man. lol Yeah I was definitely lumping Black Dahlia and the nurses together with the rest of the ghosts, since they're not horribly gruesome looking. More on a Moira's missing eyeball level.

  4. I can see Murder House being a lot of strobes and the Infantata. Maybe the burned man that Dennis O'Hare played or the attempted murderers that try to kill Vi and Viv? None of the ghosts are really inherently scary. Moira has her eye shot out, but that's not really enough on its own. There's Tate but obviously the Rubberman covers that. Can't imagine they'll do anything else with Tate given the sensitivity of the material there.

We're gonna need an exorcist to get rid of the damn Jabbawokeez lol

I've never gotten to see Bill and Ted and it really bums me out. My best friend and I were them for Halloween two years ago. I absolutely need it in my life. (Also would like Rocky Horror back, but that's more for the sake of wanting to be able to audition.) Needless to say, I have a strong disdain for Jabbawhateverthehellwhocarestbh

  6. LMAO! I definitely think the rules are subjective. On the Hollywood side I have definitely had some R rated interactions(some of which occurred when I was underage and had my dad with me) and those have all been my favorites/the most hilarious. Including but not limited to Chucky calling my now-ex a p***y for not being there with me and telling him I was doing the same thing Regan's mother does in Hell with other guys. Definitely got it on video. Definitely had my dad laughing his butt off the entire night. We also typically go on the last night of the season, so nobody on the scareactor side really seems to give a sh!t about the rules.

  7. Honestly, we went on a Thursday night and managed to get every maze and TT done before 8:30 thanks to early entry. My dad usually comes with us every year and he got there later than us, so I got to do most of the mazes twice! He wanted to do Walking Dead and that had a huge line, so I chose to wait for him. I only ended up doing TITE the third time because I had the James Franco party invite that they were giving out and wanted a picture of it with the facade in the back. There was literally nobody in line. The guys at the front started to make fun of me as I was walking away and I was like "I've done it twice, already!!!" and they were like "Oh come onnnnn. What? Are you scared?" I'm way too freaking prideful to let them keep clucking at me, at this point. Like I said, I ended up with the other family behind me anyways because I was taking my time. (Like you all have said, how often do you get a maze to yourself??) But I got dogged on super hard up until the other family caught up and I loved it. The demon at the very end got the woman behind me and it scared her so hard she fell on me, which ended up scaring me in turn. lmao

Judging by only the video I found on Youtube, it looked like a pretty fun house to me.

It absolutely was! My friend group quotes the movie all the time, so maybe we were a little biased. But my stomach honestly hurt from laughing the whole time. (Whether that was laughing at the little things planted around the maze or all of us getting hit with the scares.) My only disappointment with it was the missed opportunity to have to ummm.. gifted demon from the end as a puppet. But you know. 13 year olds, their moms, and their delicate sensitivities. <_<

Not to start an argument but I'd like to rebuttal that. It sounds like you didn't experience the Hollywood house, if you did then mostly disregard this. I thought Hollywood did s good job with This Is The End, it was a fun apocalypse house with some really cool scenes.

I don't understand how it's the dumbest idea for an hhn house, it's an apocalypse movie featuring demons, the only reason people think it would be stupid and wouldn't work is because it's a Seth roger movie

As someone who did go and did the house more than a few times due to the short line, I second this statement. It was just very reliant on timing. The first time we went in, we hit all the resets. Second time around, we had the house to ourselves and it was a ton of fun. Third time, we had it to ourselves with the exception of a group of middle aged adults behind us and THEY got hit with the scares which made it funnier for us. It wasn't flawless by any means, but it wasn't the worst either.

  10. As far as using other movies from the franchise, Aiello said it will be based off the original. So we'll see what Murdy has to say later? I'm hoping it is on a soundstage because I REALLY would love to see any bedroom scenes be freezing cold.

  11. As someone who lives thirty minutes away from Knotts... oy.

Paranormal Inc. was spectacular. But there is such a lack of professionalism with Knotts. Every year, my Facebook feed is filled with girls complaining about sexual harassment/being groped in a sexual manner(as opposed to accidentally being touched) by scare actors. Not to mention their mazes are pretty lacking. (Again, this is just coming from someone who is used to Knotts so maybe I'm a little jaded.)

I go to Universal for the high caliber sets, the professionalism, and the ability to actually be scared rather than giggle through an entire maze. If I go to Scary Farm, it's because I found a really good discount and have nothing to do.
