Hey guys! I got an AWESOME role that I can’t WAIT to do! However it says I am a swing....does anyone know what this means in relation to HHN? I know what it means on broadway but what does that mean at Universal? Does it mean I only get to be this role sometimes!? If so then what else would I do?  Regardless I am thrilled to be apart of the USH team! Just wanted some clarification! Thanks guys!

I was a swing last year at AHS and never did pool! They had 2 scare spots for one character and 3 of us doing the role- performer A, performer C, and the swing. We rotated between the 2 scare spots and a 30 minute break so I was no different than the other 2 in my role. I’m guessing you will be in the same situation.

I don't understand why you get so worked up about WB do you work for them or something lol do they even have the space to put on an event like this? Especially for the scale that they are proposing, on Twitter they said they will announce more on Wednesday so we'll just have to wait and see, but back to HHN Murdy said yesterday at the panel that there will be an announcement soon, I wonder how soon

I’m so confused, I wasn’t worked up about anything this was my first post on this thread haha

the next part was new. It was a variation on scare the chair but with three large cones. The main difference was everyone had to participate, even rehires like myself. You had to tell them what you were trying to do, then scare the cones without touching them. I personally liked this a lot more then when they'd ask us to 'die' in the past because this is more familiar to what you'd actually be doing during the job (except with real people). Some people I know hated it and preferred to 'die', or stand in the back and watch as rehires, but to each their own.

I personally LOVED scaring the cones this year. Felt much more realistic than the fake dying one at a time. I got through again but have kind of lost all hope of being cast after not hearing anything the past 2 years in a row. Either way I was really happy to see the changes to the audition process this year, including the on-site interview. I thought it was much more fun this year than in years past!

Me too, at first I thought this season would be straight up political but I'm glad they're adding a more horror than politics approach.

I'm not sure if you've been following what's been posted in terms of leaked photos from set but it looks like it's really rooted in conservatives vs liberals. I'm very curious how it might play out

  5. Back on the AHS topic, as annoyed as I am that Asylum won't get to be in the lineup this year, I think a Roanoke house will be SO COOL. There's so much material in that season they can use. I just really hope they do good casting on the characters because so much of that season is about the actors in the show. Like... can they pull this off without a Lee Harris?

AHS Asylum deserves its own house.. I think that was one of the best seasons so I'll keep my fingers crossed for it to be its own maze in the future.

Not sure how I feel about the Blumhouse mashup.... Get Out was AMAZING but I don't know how it'll work as a maze... unless we're just going into the sunken place and will just have a bunch of old white people popping out at us?? Idk it didn't seem all that scary in the traditional sense to me.
