  1. Kind of spoiler but not really:

If you really care turn back now:

There's a way to put a spoiler tag isn't there? I can't remember, please remind me if there is.

There's only 3-4 indoor environments in the entire film, and they're all during the first 15 minutes of the movie. The rest of the film takes place on the open road. BUT what is there is certainly usable for a maze. If they were to base it off of Fury Road they would have to take a LOT of creative liberties. Another option is to combine environments from Fury Road and the upcoming game, which definitely has plenty of indoor environments. But either way, they could definitely have some creative liberties like they did with AvP, it being based on the film but not a carbon copy of it.

This is a very valid point. If it is Mad Max, i'd expect it to mix the game and the movie, or the movie and unused scenes that would of been. They aren't exactly deprived of things to do, especially if the original Creator himself, George Miller becomes a creative consultant.

  2. I case you guys haven't seen it yet we're getting it too. http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com/auditions/upcoming-auditions/JP extended queue would be a possible place for this so we could end up having another replacement venue.

On the other hand it would be interesting to see if they keep it open during HHN but spruced up with maybe some red lights and a tossed corpse somewhere. Could be a cool photo op/ small experience.

The Funniest thing, we talked about that a page or two ago. With there not being able for HOH, Shrek (I did ask John about this earlier in the year and he did say no), and possibly now the JP Overflow, I think we need to keep an eye out at the CSI soundstages come start of construction for the event.

    Edit:

The JP Overflow is going to be used for Horror Nights, Courtesy of Johns word himself today.

  3. As exciting as this sounds, I'm going to keep my expectation low. Just because mazes may be in a sound stage doesn't mean it'll be great (I.e. The Undertaker and Black Sabbath). I hope Murdy uses those venues to their fullest potential.

If anything, it will be interesting for the lineup as we could determine what houses could work then.

Also, Just going to put in a quick update for the Terror Tram as John says.

Makes me really curious on what this years Terror Tram entails.

  4. To answer comment to RandomHHNGuy (as I can't quote here.. Surprisingly..); The Walking Dead is a huge money making machine and Universal/Comcast won't drop the money and leave it hanging.. that said though...I don't think that's the first announcement. I think I'm going with Sir Owen Disney and going with Insidious to be announced first to market the new film coming out in a few weeks.

Also, I know it wouldn't make sense but could it be possible of instead of Jack, we get Director back for the tenth? It does seem to work with the Nighttours, they can tie-in sudden kidnappings in the dark during the Nighttour hours and having him be the head of the event and Terror tram once more? It would allow the need of a creative consultant much like Aiello from Orlando to help John out and it could work. Of-course; it could be a TWD producer consulting on the FTWD aspect and intergrating that to the TerrorTram but still; it could be possible we get something very different.

  5. I might be late of saying this also but in the HHNFanboy video of the full panel of the Monsterpalooza panel, at the 17-21 second mark. John was going to say that this year would be the last year for him and Chris but then re-said it to be the tenth year anniversary. If anyone needs the video, I'll post it too but you can find it on his YouTube channel.

    Edit:

...that'd be interesting but I'd doubt it..just for now that is.
