Kind of a stupid question, but my finance and I are going to be in universal for our honeymoon...and she came to HHN with me last year because I begged her. She won't go in the houses when they are "LIVE" this year, and I feel inclined to not dragged her through it because it is our honeymoon haha. She LOVES the backstory and design of the houses though.
Can we get tickets for the Unmasking tours and just do that, without buying HHN tickets? Or is it something where you need to buy HHN tickets AND the Unmasking tickets?
I will probably go through HHN myself this year while she is in bed haha.

I do not believe you need event tickets for UTMH.
If you plan on staying in the park after the tour or going into the park before the tour, then you will need tickets for the park. Daytime tickets or an AP.
When I went on my tour we did not need to provide information about attending the event, but the UTMH also wasn't available through the website. You had to email or call to book the tour.
I would call and verify this before you buy your tour just to make sure this information is correct.

Not going to lie... a DE style house with the Classic Icon's would be the only way I would get super pumped if they ever brought them back! And btw the Website update usually happens at 12 or later in the day on the 30th?
Universal mentioned on the Official HHN FB page that all would be revealed next week.
The full reveal is usually sometime in late August/early September. The time of day as typically been at midnight or soon after.
For example: 2008's full reveal began at 7pm on Wednesday, August 27th. At midnight, we received no signal. A little while after midnight on August 28th, the full site went live.

That poster may be used at BK, but it doesn't give away anything. I can't even figure out why they bothered to tweet that.
Last year BK put out their window posters, before Uni released any of their advertising. Like I said, it was a preemptive strike by Uni. They didn't want to have to tell BK to take down the posters again.

Okay, I have to disagree here. The third clue was for Silent Hill, and the following two photos were attempting to guide us through the riddle. In fact, this latest clue pinpoints exactly that.
Then I suppose there is no need to continue speculating on these clue, if they are simpily pointing to known elements of the event.
Creating riddles and clues to tell us that nurses will appear in Silent Hill seems rather unnecessary and, in my opinion, pointless.
I will let others work them out. If it appears that something more substantial is being hinted at, like a backstory, connecting theme, or icon, then I may return to speculating.
Until then:
Has anymore info been figured out about the scarezones? I've never really been a scarezone person. I prefer the houses unless I'm in the mood to people watch. This year, however, the scarezones have me very interested. It may be the increase in scareactor numbers or the fact that were may get more simplistic zones this year, but I really can't wait to find out more.

Since I can either sit and stare at a sleeping two month old or can speculate....
I don't think the pic is a blueprint. There appears to be too much depth to the picture. I think it's a pic of a 3d object, like a circuit board.

These clues seemed to be very similar to ones we've seen before, but now they appear disjointed and lacking a central purpose.
First clue photo: Appears to point to a return of LT.
Second photo and quote: Appears to point to a vortex and EVPs. Generally pointing one toward hauntings and paranormal investigation. Which could be the "Victorian house".
Third clue: Well that's where it gets weird. A symbol similar to the Silent Hill movie symbol. It is not exact. A periodic table. Specific elements pointed out. Various numerals. And a quote mentioning bone and core that can be linked directly to mystical writings about iron being the bone and core of the earth and gods.
4th photo: He=He. Most likely implying a male figure being linked to the event.
5th photo and quote: Tells us to disregard the iron connections, then mentions the "Iron" Lady. So we have a female figure now.
6th photo and quote: No clue.
All I can say is this is not a very succinct source.
We are not being directed to specific houses. No need for us to be given house clues. 4 houses have been revealed. We know Silent Hill is going to be at the event, and we know the nurses are female so why give us clues that point to the nurses?
It appears our source doesn't know either the best path to explain the message, or is unsure what the message is suppose to be.
These clues are not simple and straight forward like those of the past.
I shall have to wait to see if a centralized theme materializes.

And as for the quote that goes with it - the fact that it's saying that Fe doesn't refer to ore could further support my "86 faith" thoughts from earlier.
I think the lady part is more important than the iron part.
FE could be shorthand for female. The quote specifically mentions shorthand. Fe isn't shorthand for faith.
What if 86 isn't 86. The lines seem too straight for an 8. It could be an hour glass symbol which usually denotes years. So it could be 6 years, or if the 6 is actually an L, it could be 50 years.
I'm still confused by it. Especially considering the Plutarch writings which mention iron being the bone or core.
I can tell I've missed clues this year. These clues (even though the source is unknown) have me fascinated.

It appears the message is saying Fe is not representative of iron, but then the picture gives us quotes from the Iron Lady.
It's confusing.

The quote from our mysterious friend.

Found it interesting. Also iron was used to repel or kill creatures in mythology.
So 26 > 2 could be - Iron is stronger than He.
And if it's Fe = 86, Fe could be what is necessary to kill, or 86 He.
The phrase a that something or someone has been 86ed (meaning killed) is common.

Could the clues be pointing to a connection between Silent Hill and a backstory or Icon?
I don't mean an overall theme or backstory for the event is Silent Hill, more like connections we saw with Lady Luck and the houses last year.
And I can't help wondering about the ifrit. Considering that the cult in SH worshiped used immolation, and the ifrit is a fire demon. Could we have subtle connections between an icon or backstory like this?

I just realized a huge error I made regarding the possible symbols on the CD.
The symbol that I stated was the male symbols was actually the female symbol.
The male symbol also represents mars and iron.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the Beasts turned out to be Werewolves with Chainsaws? What a neat tribute that would be to Chainsaw Wolf!
It's their 10 yr anniversary this year, too. It would be an awesome tribute to CSW.

8 statements = 8 zones, but was beast apart of the zones?
Do we know for a fact that the "guesses" we're right?
If they were then we have 8 zones/roamers/hordes figured out. If beast is a new code name for a different zone, then it would be a 9th zone/roamer/horde group.
I'm bad at math but not that bad.
So do we have the 8 statement right?

i dont think Chainsaws are considered one of the 8 color codes, so you wouldn't include those. but you would include this new one since it has a color code. roamers aren't included in this total.

Still means there could be 178 scareactors on the streets during the casts. Roamers or not. That is a lot of freaking scareactors in the street at one time.
No more complaints if this holds up. Don't care if it's not a set scarezone. 52 more scaractors is nothing to blink at.

last year was 21 a zone, so 21x6=126 per cast, 252 in total.
this year is 20x7 plus the 18 for this new one, which is 158 per cast, 316 in total.
so, 64 more SA's in the streets this year.

No Heather... you didn't read the following post. 2011 had casts of 21 in honor of the year. But the streets usually have casts of roughly 20 to begin with.
Also... again, you missed the part about "Beast" being the roles for our "BY" (Buttercup Yellow) code.
Still not understanding. So 20 x 8 or no. Even 21 times 6 is 126.
I was thinking more zones would = less cast per zone.

Does it appear that we are getting more street scareactors as compared to previous years?
I can't help with "Beasts" yet. Need to know the answer first and process.

However... we have a new twist. It seems we have a new SZ scareactor role. You might be asking how is it "new"?.. well it isn't part of the zombie-Klown-prisoner-dragon warrior-ghost-vampire-chainsaw-Trick r treater SZs we had in the line-up. This new role is "Beast" and from what I was told, there are 36 of them cast, which means there are only 18 per cast. Which is 2 less than the other SZs.
Wait. Let me understand something.
Out of the 8 zones, be them hordes or what not, there are 20 scareactors per cast?
That's 160 scareactors in the streets at one time, not counting this possibly new 18.
Last year 6 SZs, 20 scareactors each cast, that's 120 scareactors.
I don't wanna hear any more complaints if this is right. If we get 20 per cast that is 60 more scareactors without this new possible SZ 18 more scareactors.
And no I can't add to spec. In blown away by possible numbers.
Sorry got carried away. 40 more scareactors besides the 18.

If you have the male symbol near the symbol for Jupiter, doesn't that suggest the symbol for Mars? Which brings the following verses to mind: "When the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars..."

Are you sure its 2 Ts? To me it just looks like there is only one T. The line for the A looks like a T but is just the line for the A connecting to the top part of the T and forming the line in the middle. Just like L forming the E.
2 Ts or 1 pi is still represented.
And I just realized I wrote pie. Damn diet.
