  1. I meant dollhouse of the damned lol and do they still do those ratings anymore or
  2. I wonder if DotD will get that near that high? ....just a thought
  3. Should I make a tombstone for the sacrifice? RIP in peace-this dude's guts' stage career
  4. Lol I just imagined what people say when they "formally" say that HHN is too scary. "Hello universal, my name is ______, and I would like you to know that your horror-themed events with tons of warnings about its fear level is too unexpectedly scary, and you need to tone it down so us fraidy-cats don't feel a slight bit uncomfortable. Also, seeing a person's insides is OFFENSIVES, and I can't believe you guys would show that in an event such as this one. We demand that you make this obviously adult event kid-friendly. Then, I can come back and be an obnoxious drunk and start fights." -every stupid HHN complainer
  5. Universal's Not-so-Scary Halloween?
  6. ;-; we need these back. Also, I think I eem going through one of those looping rooms a couple years ago. It was in the house with all the classic movies (I can't remember the name) and there was a room with a tin if mirrors but the actual exit was off to the side a ways, so you wouldn't see it at first and you would get tricked.
  7. Wait wait wait. THERE WERE SLIDES AND BALL PITS?!?!? 0.o
  8. I feel that as long as it's scary it's scary, and if it's intricate its intricate. More technology can make some houses possible now where they weren't before, but a house can still rock without any special ZANG!, just with a good bit of care put into it. Hence, halloween. It could've been just as good years ago with maybe a couple different effects to compensate for less tech.
  9. Yeeeaaahh, this year's website does suck a bit. However, i can't judge the event unless I've experienced the houses.... :T however, I do say the site was a thousand times better then than it is now lol
  10. You can FEEL the atmosphere in some houses this year, too, from start to finish (Dollhouse is the new love of my life ) and some other houses the past couple of years
  11. This is just my opinion, but I feel it's a lot better to come into each year and not trying to compare it to anything else, and just take everything for what it is. With prior experience you have bias, and everything else seems slightly worse because of that. Most of your love of the past years could just stem from nostalgia (this happens a LOT in the gaming community-trust me), and if the years past truly were really good, then that's ok. I just don't think you should base all of your opinions based off of memory of what it you remember it to have been like before, since people change, your view of your first years is obviously a lot better because you didn't know what to expect as much, so you came in with a fresh mind and everything would have seemed so much better before repetition of going to this event would've dulled your opinions and your whole outlook on this. Sorry for the rant but this is a problem with a lot of things. "Genwunners " are my mortal enemies (Pokémon fans can relate) Edit: I spent so long trying to find the right words that Legacy did it before me.... whoops
  12. 3 more days of insomnia and increased heart rates - three more days until SSB3ds

  13. Whether we went in the "golden years" or not, we still enjoy the event the way it is. It may not be as good as years past but it is still a hell of a lot of fun now nonetheless, and these IP's are very entertaining for those of us who enjoy the original content, and it could be fun for those who aren't familiar with the IP's too. Sure, original houses can be amazing, but so can IPs, as this year, I feel, has proven quite nicely
  14. They were planning on having "smoking walkers" as was stated on another thread, but they had to take it out for one reason or another. It was probably too late to change their marketing campaign when they pulled those walkers
  15. If you're a walking dead fan, this house has many small, neat details, but otherwise it's okay to skip this house because there's only a couple rooms with good scares imo
  16. Yes, I agree. I do have my limits too, however, as I only drink a virgin Cuba Libre when I attend so as to not get very drunk. Also, if I actually did have alcohol I would be arrested but I'm not going to because I'm not a stupid teenager
  17. The lines are so much better than last week ;-;
  18. I still stand by the idea of the lines moving in a 1:1 ratio, with the only benefit of the Express Pass being that it's a second line that most people cant get into because they didn't pay extra for it
  19. Can somebody please report what this gag is for those of us who can't go to HHN anymore pleeeeeaaase?
  20. And Universal would get more people to come because they would then have fixed a bit of the problems with wait. I should name this idea, copyright it, and sell it to Uni for the cash money
  21. Let alone a movie that a lot of people who did see it were unimpressed by it. If they did turn it into a sharknado thing and just add a couple sharks to the "ride", then it would have so many more visitors! I do love HP, but NO MORE
  22. I personally think that a second, "exclusive" line is needed, but they treat that line like royalty. It's horrible for those of us peasants who can't afford it, because they let a lot of them into the house, then a couple of us, and repeat. Normal line takes longer than it should because they don't treat the express line the way it should be treated; as a SECOND LINE, not more. If both lines let people out in a 1:1 ratio, both lines would still go fast, and us normal line folk don't have to wait forever.
  23. But.... the sacrifices..... they were the best part of the scare zone ;-;
