  1. ok. Well the collectors are assumed to be from Terra Cruentas, a realm where they gather blood and bone for the queen and people of Terra Cruentas. The collectors supposedly have the ability to come to earth to collect(blood and bone). They have been known to create scapegoats for the blood and bone they collect(Jack the ripper). What would stop the collectors from going to an asylum (which has had known problems in the past) to collect during a natural disaster(blizzard)? They don't even have to create a scapegoat.
  2. I'm not saying to stop in the middle of the house for minutes on end, just go at a reasonable pace so I can enjoy the smaller details. Also doesn't help when the TMs shine their flashlights in the house. It is a total buzz kill.
  3. 1. You do not need reservations but the earlier you arrive the better. Spots at the bar and tables will fill up rather quickly. All you need for stay and scream is entrance to universal and a HHN ticket. 2. It is ppretty much a constant line. They may let in 20 people from the regular line for every 5-10 from the express line. 3. I always try and take my sweet time when walking through the mazes and usually do pretty well. There will be TMs trying to force you through but I always ignored them to an extent. I mean you are paying a pretty penny to see everything might as well get your money's worth.
  4. The employee preview is a difficult night to navigate. Last year I went and only managed to hit 2 houses, also I think the EP is only open until 11pm so you lose out on some hours. However the benefit of the EP is it will probably be free or very cheap.
  5. if you need your thirst for HHN quenched I suggest you check out The art of scare(assuming you haven't done so already) it was a documentary that the travel channel did back in 2002 ddocumenting HHN 12, while the event has changed drastically since then it is still awesome. http://youtu.be/T2381qPZQBQ?list=PLlAOIgeV7hiF8JEajb7JvbzgP_hkh0551 If you have already seen the art of scare check out Horror Comes Home. This was done by student/director SpendusWorks. He did a fantastic job of covering the 2006 event.
  6. I've never had a problem getting into a Bill and Ted show. If you show up 15 minutes before the show you should be good. Express also entitles you to seating at B&T.
  7. you should be fine with express. Also if you can do stay and scream. You'll have 2 or 3 houses done before the general public is even in the park. Like Legacy said don't let what could've been alter your perspective on the event. It's the best Halloween event in the world. You'll probably end up enjoying the original mazes more than the ip's anyway.
  8. we should assume so. The EP is only 4 days after RTU. They are clearing the furious 7 props this week, which is assumed to make way for all things horror related.
  9. orlandounited.com If this property were to be cancelled I think that it could be transitioned smoothly into an original. Assuming that construction of the house is probably near completion.
  10. Look for the props from Furious 7 to depart on August 15th to make way for some street construction.
  11. it looks to be one of the banners that are always there, but if you're still at the parks around 9pm swing back by maybe they'll be testing the lighting/soundtrack again
  12. there is usually a banner back there, but show us what you've got
  13. I really thought that the jabbawockees announcement was a joke. I had to triple check all social media outlets haha
  14. don't forget the freight yard in 2004
  15. sorry for any confusion. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Orff's_O_Fortuna_in_popular_culture This is the song I was referring to.
  16. I think that the choice of song is for its epic-ness and relevance to popular culture. The name of the hymn is shear coincidence. After all luck is for losers...right?
  17. They are testing the lighting and soundtrack in disaster right now, and all I can say is corre, corre rápido! Or battle...like a gladiator?
  18. shots fired marketing team shots fired. Wonder when's the next time we'll see a John Landis reference
  19. one dimensional mute minions haha I too am ever fascinated by the creativity and artistic aspects of the event. I am ever enchanted by the fact that they can turn an unassuming soundstage into a prison, a mortuary or even a spaceship. That's what got me hooked all those years ago. While we have seen both of these characters and scenarios before, I think that we will see something new. Admittedly I have a soft spot for psycho scarepy as it was the first house I ever went through at HHN 13. So I could be a bit biased towards the house.
