  1. That sounds great. I was thinking maybe one of those "snow" macines that disney uses during christmas since the Wendigo is usually associated with winter and coldness. We'll probably just end up with 4 stilt scareactors and the name of the scarezone lit all over the place like last year

The soap machines! Yeah that'd be cool. Anything to make it actually feel like a scarezone. Maybe some projection mapping down there. Or at least project falling snow onto the buildings and maybe a wendigo shadow running by.

Plus, the lower lot has pretty much become the new hub of hhn. It's the center of all the action where every area meets. Might as well make it a strong location with all that foot traffic. Maybe another barker is in order? Or something of the sort...

  2. I'm thinking the scareactors are going to look something like the ones with the horse skulls in la llorona. Just an animal skull draped in cloth. On stilts.

Not that that isn't fun and all, but on the lower lot, I don't think it'll be very successful.

What I'd like to see down there is a little more fog, double the amount of scareactors, and red lighting that drenches the entire area. Maybe even a strobe that goes off every 15 minutes along with a thunder sound and a beast's roar or whatever wendigos sound like. Impractical, I'm sure.

  4. Shivering with antici... pation:

    AVP

    FDTD

    TWD

    High anticipation:

    Clowns

    Face Off

    Still pretty high anticipation:

    AWiL

    Say what now?:

    Dracula

I'm highly anticipating FDTD and TWD because the shows were so well made in terms of "maze material" provided. New creatures and scares were introduced and the temple was expanded upon in FDTD making it a much more grand and twisted experience. I loved the country club, collapsed tunnel, and burnt walkers in TWD. Also, I'd be too pleased to find a "Look at the flowers" reference.

I've never had a fear of clowns, but I can't deny the big, disturbing, theatrical environments they usually come with. Plus, I used to have nightmares of John Wayne Gacy when I was younger so I'd lose all shit if there were any fat clowns....

I thought I'd be much more excited for AWiL after seeing it in Orlando and loving it so much. Maybe I just need to watch the movie again.

I don't know what this Dracula maze even is. The trailer doesn't tell me much other than the basic blood, bats, and sun stuff. Typical vampire stuff. And what is so "untold" about this story? The fact that he had a cute little family or started a ridiculous looking war? Like why are we even on this right now? What do you want Vlad?? Tell me what you want!!!

All other maze anticipations are pretty simple. I love Face Off and Xenomorphs. So, there's that.

  5. Whoever is trying to kill your game plan, you spit on their elbow and call them Ginger.

Excuse you! We Gingers are a proud people!! A proud, pale people.

As for me, while I did find success using this strategy in 2012, I'd rather just relax and not have to worry about keeping track of a schedule all night. And I will pee and eat whenever I damn well please! Perhaps even at the same time! Kidding though. I'm very normal ._. Anyway, FOL pass for me. Nice game plan though.

    DOWN!

  6. First of all sweety, I'm gay, but thanks for playing. Secondly the actor playing Dracula is gay.

Ha! You're sassy. I like you.

And I retract my previous statement about your vocabulary.

However, the word gay is obviously used as a negative when attached to the word dumb.

Although, if separated, they can make a very delicious statement. For example:

Yes, you may be gay, but you are also quite dumb. Sweety.

  7. This is a very important maze for HHN. If this goes well, it will prove that unconventional properties and themes can be successful, expanding the event's possibilities to further corners of the horror genre.

Moreover, this entire year is important as every maze seems to pose great risks. If FDTD and AWiL do well, they will prove that less-developed or low awareness franchises can be successful as well. Not to mention the first time use of these puppets, creature suits, and all new special effects I keep hearing about. I'm immensely excited, but I hope they haven't bitten off more than they can chew.
