[HHNH Planning & Tips (The 2014 Edition)]

Hatchet's plan looks great, except I will be attending the opening scaremony purely because a) first time at the event. first time Halloween in us c) I think it will start our night off in the best fashion

but I was planning on trying to follow a game plan for the initial maze/rides and then use the FOL pass for second helpings of our favourites! Can anyone shed some light on how long we can expect to wait in the FOL queue?

This thread is awesome! I'll keep checking back once the event starts! I mentioned in the general discussion thread that I just purchased FOL passes for 31st (it's the only night we can attend) and I figured FOL passes would at least ensure we get as much done as possible (and potentially time for double ups). I plan on following your game plan though DTH as a general direction guide, but I do want to try and get as many (or all) of the rides in as possible, since we will not get the opportunity to visit the park during the day.

[Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood - Event Discussion]

Sooo i just booked my fol passes for Halloween night. this will be not only our first time to HHN but also first time to the US (and only night able to attend). I'm expecting it to be incredibly busy being Halloween itself (didn't mind spending extra for the passes). But we're incredibly excited! I'll be keeping an eye on the forum for all the tips and tricks on getting around the park and making the most out of our time!!

I'm definitely planning to purchase tickets as soon as able, and am I able to buy the FOTL passes online (am I right in guessing this would be the first type of pass that would 'sell out')

and I saw something about a VIP ticket, should this be something to consider too, or just value adding to a regular ticket?

I'm actually looking forward to planning it all as best we can!!

thanks Ferox!! I'm hoping to just purchase the tickets as soon as I can, once they go on sale, I'd hate to miss out, as we pretty much only have that one night available (as we're doing Disneyland on the Thursday).

I plan on utilizing the forum and everyone's knowledge as much as possible, like you said, to get the most out of the night, as we want to do everything and try not to miss out on too much

First time posting on this forum! I've been creeping for a couple of days and must say i'm quite excited for what this year could have in store! Will be my first time in the US, we land on the 29th of October and we'll be going on Halloween itself, I know its going to be crazy as far as lines etc are concerned, but coming all the way from aus, doesn't really worry me as it's going to be about the experience as a whole, being a horror film fan, in universal studios, on Halloween = excitement levels are quite high!

Can I ask though, and I realize this probably isn't the right place, but to be honest I cant find where else to post this: does Halloween night usually sell out and when can I expect to buy tickets (i'm very much considering the front of line passes as well) and can I ask a rough price range (ive heard around the 139 mark?).
