The reception to this idea will probably go only one way. Horror Nights has lots of great original characters and locations. An idea I recently thought of was what if these characters were put into blogs like Slend- I'm not going to finish that statement in fear of the Hollywood denizens lynching me. Let's have a better example. What if they were put into blogs like The Fear Mythos (That's better) . I have a few ideas on possible ones to do. But I need some input on this. By the way, characters will be credited to Universal Studios (so don't worry about that.), with the exception of whoever the protagonist is (unless the protagonist was also created by Universal, like Charlie McPherson) So yeah...enjoy and vote honestly, I guess.

One thing I do wish, that is never going to happen but I still wish it did, Is that I wish they repeated houses. Specially from before 2006. I wish they would just bring some of the best houses from the past back, the same way they were.
I mean, It's going to be almost a decade from when people saw these houses. I can't even remember houses I did 4 years ago. I'm just saying this because I know someone can say "We don't want any repeats that stupid we want all New Sutff!!!" But, how bad would it be if they brought back houses from the time HHN was done over at Islands. But done in the other park.
I know we get sequels sometimes, but I just wish they could bring some houses back every year. the best ones from the past.
I wish for something similar to this except with bad houses. They would be in different locations and changed in whatever way needed to make them as good as they should have been when they were originally there. Examples would be Reflections of Fear and The Spawning. Though, this would just be one event.

- If the Walking Dead does come back, it's condensed to just a maze, not invading the scare zones.
- Or if it doesn't come back, it's TV maze status is taken by American Horror Story.
- A icon, new or old, as my first year was this year and I've never fully experienced an icon.
- Try to equal it up between the original and IP mazes (4 and 4 would be nice.)
- A 9th maze would be nice, as said by USG.
- As with the icon, I've never experienced an overarching theme, so that would be fun to experience.
- No 3D house (I know people here liked the In-Between and I heard P&T was okay.) but I didn't like Afterlife, so 3D should take a break for a year or two, in my own opinion.
-If anything is adapted from Hollywood, I would personally prefer Insidious over Cucuy, no offense. (Technically, we could use both...nah.)
-At least 5 different themed scare zones.

I live in ft lauderdale it is just i wanted to hit uni before the huge crowd came so the only way was to leave around 4:30/5 and make it there at around 8

CITW is not as good as everyone is making it sound.... Evil Dead is better
I liked Evil Dead (It was in my top three.) but it seemed short to me (for some reason) and also I got a lot less scares than CiTW.

I went on Saturday the 19th (busiest day i heard). I kind of rushed with this review since i had no sleep this weekend after waking up 4 am to go to orlando and then wake up next morning and do IOA at 8 so I had little time not to mention have school but I just threw it all together lol but yeah some of my opinions made little to no sense but all in all this year was very well done and I loved it
OH AND SCENERY never touched on that! - everything got a 5/5 because inside every house was an unbelievable facade, and just everything was amazing in detail, but they never disappoint in detail so it comes to no surprise to me
Yeah, Saturdays are the busiest days in general, unless Fridays happen to be, which I don't think they are. Also, considering you woke up at 4am, how long away are you from Orlando? And I agree, even if the inside wasn't great, every façade was pretty awesome to me.

Glad to see I'm not the only one putting CiTW at top, from what I've seen at least. Good review though I do have to disagree with most of your opinions (I'll elaborate if needed), but you did have good reasons for your opinions. The one thing I will acknowledge is that I don't know what day you went (I went on a Thursday), but the times I faced were much shorter, with the lowest being 10-15 minutes (Havoc) and the longest being 45. Walking Dead was a 60-75 minute wait from what I saw.

well what about That ALIEN Ride they never even did because of the movie being rated R? I mean Disney gets the property and doesn't even use it.......
I still don't think it would be likely that they could do a scary halloween event here.
Actually, that was going to be the original ExtraTERRORestrial and it would have been called Nostromo after the ship in the film.
You've admittedly got a point here. I mean, Disney had two opportunities to use Alien and rejected one and didn't even think of one.

So any ideas for Disneyland plus Oogie Boogie could have a house in the Haunted Mansion. Jack could continue to be the Master of Scaremonies in Halloween Screams, and Space Mountain continues to be haunted by the Ghost Galaxy.
Yeah, things like that for Disneyland would work.

I can see this happening eventually.....especially at California Adventure.
Yeah, since I've heard that California Adventure does not have a lot of attractions, it would probably work there.

I know there was an article that DIsneyWorld was throwing back and forth ideas about a Haunt aimed for teens and adults after hours crowds that would center around Jack Skellington decribed as "Grusome but not gorey and less bloody but the scares would be actual scares". I'll try to find it again but it can be done and probably will be done in the future, most likely California Adventure on this coast and Disney Studios on the Florida side. There is a way to do it while maintaing the parks rep as family friendly you might not see bodies and corpeses hanging all over the place like HHN, Knotts or HOS but look at Frightfest.
Damn...that's interesting that it was considered. Question is would it have had houses or just be scare zones spread around the park?
Yeah, it's not exactly scary. But if Universal can make things that aren't scary scary (like Penn and Teller), I would hope Disney would be able to do the same if they did something like this.

Imagine how many mazes/scarezones they could have if they utilized the space in Epcot (300+ acres)
Maybe I'll do that when I have time.
Yeah, it almost sort of sucks that they wouldn't but Disney does always want to keep the children on their side. And yeah, plenty of people would be pissed. I wonder if Universal had the same problem in the later (iconic) years where things got more intense.
That could actually work. Who knows? Maybe if we wish upon a star...

I apologize if this ends up being the wrong topic to put this as I honestly had NO clue where to put it. Now, I'm positive I'm not the only one to think of this idea. I decided to put what houses, scare zones, and altered attractions Disney would have if they had an adult based Halloween event. So, here we go.
Houses
Disney Villains: Our House Now (Cinderella Castle) - It’s Halloween Night and the villains have taken over Cinderella Castle and made it their playhouse! Jafar, Captain Hook, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, and Hades lead the invasion. Walk through sets based off their films along with many others while being scared all the way.
Abandoned by Disney (Adventureland) - The scary creepypasta is brought to life! Enter into the abandoned Mowgli’s Palace and see the horrors that lurk within. Can you uncover the mystery or will you die with it?
Quick Death Mines (Frontierland) Enter the Quick Death Mineshaft, famous for it’s amazing amount of deaths. The reason for these deaths? The dead which have been lurking in their for years now. Can you traverse through the twists and turns?

While I am an Florida HHN attender, I decided to put an idea I put over there here as it works for both locations. The idea being "What if there was one night where scare actors switched locations?" To show off this idea, I decided to use this year's HHN in Hollywood. Take a look at the Florida version if you need a visual aid. Enjoy! Constructive criticism is appreciated. First in parentheses is location, second is scare actors.
The Mazes
The Walking Dead: 13 (The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven and Black Sabbath:13)
The world of The Walking Dead has been invaded! Terrible mutants have appeared after a nuclear explosion a state away. Now they've made there way to both the prison and Woodbury and the zombies have become literal dead meat. Make your way through the living version of Hell as even Lucifer himself shall come to the earth. In all of this, one theme is common. The number 13 has been scrawled just about everywhere. For in a world filled with hellish beings... there is only evil.
Evil Dead: Cucuy's Claws (Evil Dead: Book of the Dead and El Cucuy: the Boogeyman)
A creature of evil has come to the cabin from Evil Dead. It is the Boogeyman itself! However, a group of foolish teenagers has also come to the cabin. Yeah, it is sort of an amusing thought. Imagine that last year. In fact, now that I think about it, I may do it with last year for fun. It's also interesting how with two mazes morphed together, you can make a non IP maze. Thanks for your comment, Justman! I also might do this in the Hollywood section and see how they react.

I thought of an idea where for one night only, the scareactors would all switch places. Now, there is a limited chance of this happening in real life, I can still dream,though. So, to test this idea, I decided to use HHN23 and formulate my own ideas for what the mazes would be like, story included. I’m swapping the mazes using my order from best to worst in my review. So, here we go. Constructive criticism is appreciated.
Cabin in the Woods: Into the Afterlife (Cabin in the Woods and Afterlife: Death’s Vengeance)
The facility in Cabin in the Woods has gotten bored of the monsters they’ve been using for years upon years. So, they decide to find some new ones. However, the monsters they find are the souls that haunted Bobby the Blade in Afterlife: Death’s Vengeance. Within a few hours of getting all the souls, things go to hell, literally. The souls escape after an electrical failure and are now haunting both the facility and the cabin. Meanwhile, the other monsters were warped away in the chaos to an unknown location. Can you survive the angry souls?
American Zombies in London (American Werewolf in London and The Walking Dead)
London already had to deal with their werewolf problem. Now they have an entirely different problem. A zombie plague has been spreading throughout London in a blaze. No one or place is safe. You must fear everything. From the Slaughtered Lamb to Piccadilly Circus, the dead shall plague you the whole way. Will they tear you apart?
Evil Dead: Llorona’s Tears (Evil Dead and Urban Legends: La Llorona)
On the quest to find her dead children, La Llorona has come upon the cabin from Evil Dead. A group of teens looking to party also arrive. At night, one tells the story of the Weeping Woman and claims her children are somewhere in the cabin and the forest around it. Thus, she now lurks the cabin and its forest. Can you make it through without being consumed?
Resident Evil: Havoc in Raccoon City (Resident Evil and Havoc: Derailed)
The train holding the Dogs of War from Havoc was redirected halfway through, thus derailing in a different place. However, they’ve now derailed near the new Raccoon City, rebuilt after the events of RE 2 and 3. They are now causing literal havoc and ruin. Can you escape from them and the city before things get even worse?
Afterlife: The Ancient Ones 3D ( Afterlife: Death’s Vengeance and Cabin in the Woods)
Bobby the Blade’s body disappeared during the events of Afterlife. Seeking to find him, a brother of his goes to the electric chair. While he is teleported to the same realm his brother entered, its changed a bit. The monsters of Cabin in the Woods now roam the Afterlife. Even the Ancient Ones themselves are here in this hellish realm. Can you make it through and find Bobby the Blade before its too late for you?
The Howling Wolves: No Safe Haven (The Walking Dead and American Werewolf in London)
Woodbury has brewed up a brand new, non zombie related experiment. After killing a werewolf on the outskirts, they are injecting the blood into several of their soldiers so they may invade the prison. Now, things have gone wrong, the werewolves, having no control are running rampant through both Woodbury and the prison. There may be no end as the moon is quite full tonight. Always stay alert.
Urban Legends: Book of the Dead (Urban Legends: La Llorona and Evil Dead)
The Necronomicon has ended up in a new location. A lonely Spanish church has come into possession of the book and have foolishly read from it. Now, the Deadites have possessed the nuns of the church. The Abomination itself has risen from the ground to torture the innocents. Even the floors and ceilings hold terrors. Will you be the next victim or will you be a survivor?
Havoc: The T-Virus (Havoc: Derailed and Resident Evil)
An agreement has been made between Shadowcreek Labs and the Umbrella Corporation to deliver T-Virus subjects to Shadowcreek for experiments with the genes of the infected. From normal zombies and Hunters to Lickers and Nemesis itself. However, the train derails mid transport, unleashing them to the outside world once more. However, the first person on their list is you. Can you make it without being taken by the virus?
The street experience will have scareactors from all mazes in one big combo, instead of having a specific switch.
So thats what HHN 23 would be like with swapped scareactors. If you want me to do this with another HHN, just tell me and i’ll attempt to do it. Or hell, you could do your own. Hope you enjoyed reading! -

HHN23 Review
Houses (From 1-7)
WARNING: SPOILERS
1.Cabin in the Woods
First off, I learned a valuable lesson. Never judge an IP maze by it’s movie. I’d heard mixed things about the movie and wasn’t expecting a great maze. Boy, was I wrong. From room 1, I was terrified. From the cabin to the facility, it was endless scares. My favorite part being the fact you never knew exactly what was around the corner due to all the monsters used. From redneck zombies to killer clowns, the maze was the most unique of them all. The in-line video was amusing being a 50’s like PSA. I am happy this IP was used to its fullest potential. Only problem was we got stopped for a minute or two in the semi-final room, which isn't really the maze’s fault. Oh, and the line was a bit long. For being an unexpected treat along with being unique in almost every way, I’m giving it a 10/10.
2. American Werewolf in London
I don’t know HOW they did it, but they literally told the entire story of AWiL in a 5-7 minute maze. Having seen the movie, I can prove this. From the Slaughtered Lamb to Piccadilly Circus, they got everything. Had the best effects in show. The people dressed as werewolves could be passed of as actual werewolves. Heck, even the animatronic ones could. The line went pretty long, but it was admittedly worth it. I sadly missed most of the werewolf scares. Amusingly enough, the human scares were the ones that got me. Also, its werewolves. Which have become a bit bland, I guess. The werewolves were great here though. For telling the entire story and having good effects and (from what I saw) scares, I’m giving it a 9.5/10
3. Evil Dead
The theme between my top 3 is that they all used as much as they could from their property as possible. Evil Dead does that, from the “You’re all going to die tonight” line to the turkey knife scene. There was some cool set pieces like the Necronomicon pages in the air to the giant logo. Problem being, this was my second maze after Cabin in the Woods, which also involved a cabin in a forest with a book that summons zombies. Evil Dead uses it’s forest a bit more though to make up for the lack of a cool facility area. Quite a few scares got me. From plain jump scares to a Deadite popping out of the forest. The climax where the cabin is burning is pretty good. However, in Hollywood they had the chainsaw scene where Mia kills the Abomination. After watching that, I was slightly disappointed Orlando didn’t do that. Instead, they had a Mia with a chainsaw jump out. Boom, end of house. But for getting a lot of story in with good scares, even with the bland(depending on order) setting and disappointing climax, it gets a 8.5/10
4. Resident Evil: Escape from Raccoon City
Very happy to see this was more game-based than movie. I was a bit worried earlier on. Resident Evil got Raccoon City down. They actually put Leon, Claire and Nemesis in, which was nice. Leon with his odd hairstyle looked a bit weird though. The zombies seemed limited, even though it started being a zombie-only game, the scares seemed more mutant focused. Like the Licker and the dogs. The dogs were slightly goofy, but startled me a bit. The Licker was a hole in the wall scare, that was pretty freaky. Also, I’d like to say they didn’t get the right villain to fight the heroes. Though that’s a nitpick, since I doubt many cared too much. The pause room was amusing to see. The zombies did a good job (a chef literally got right into my face.). So, for getting the setting and characters right, with the scareactors doing pretty good, even with the lack of the zombies, it gets a 8/10.
5. Havoc: Derailed
I know nothing about this particular storyline. I didn’t even know it was a sequel until i researched. From what I can tell, it involves maniac super soldiers. Which is cool, I guess. Oh, and they’re called “The Dogs of War”. Maybe if I could have heard the in-line video, I would have learned more(Thanks Rocky Horror, thanks.). From what the map said, they are being transported via train to an unknown location. I heard China being mentioned, maybe that was it. The train setting was done better than expected. I really felt like I was on a train. The build-up to the derailing was great. It starts with the scares being the banging against cages. Then the train derails and all of a sudden, there’s scares every 3 feet. Problem being, the scarers have nothing unique about them, they’re just crazy humans. Still,It was pretty cool. Also, a bit short, but it did what it could. For an interesting story, a great setting, and okay scares, despite it generic scarer choice and shortness, it gets a 7.5/10
6. Urban Legends: La Llorona
Now I’m not familiar with La Llorona. I know she’s some Spanish story about a woman looking for her dead children. I didn’t care too much for the story, as I’m not Spanish, but that didn’t matter that much. The scares were good with the Lloronas really timing their scares at the end. The beginning, however, the scares would just miss me, leaving me with only half scares. The setting was good, with the statues and underwater and child skulls. For, an okay story, good setting and scares for the second half, despite an empty first half, it gets a 7/10.
7. Afterlife: Death’s Vengeance
Ugh, this maze. The story was interesting. However, in the maze, I was hoping for more explanation. And I got none. I didn’t complain about this for Havoc as I’m sure the video explained it. But as stated, I couldn’t hear it. Now let’s talk about the 3D gimmick. There was NO POINT for this maze to have the gimmick besides the fact that they must use that precious technology each year. Nothing screamed 3D about killer is haunted in afterlife by victims. Oh yeah, these aren't the newer ones used for their normal rides, these are the crappy old ones. I wear glasses. Normal glasses + Old 3D glasses = Me having to hold the glasses to my face the entire maze. I couldn’t take my normal glasses off because I would have been as blind as a bat. It didn’t matter as the maze was dark as the depths of hell anyway. I bumped into obstacles and scareactors due to the dark and crampedness. There was some cool scenes, like the killer being stabbed at the end and being held in the air and the famous vortex tunnel. I’d like to mention the line was damn long due to people being really slow in line. So that didn’t help the experience. There was a setting for one room, where it’s a penitentiary. Then you venture into hell? Paint splattered, cramped, 3D hell. Wonderful. The scares were unseeable except for one or two times. I give it a 3/10.
?. The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven
Skipped due to time constraints. By that, I mean a 75 minute wait. From what I heard, its in the 5-6 area in terms of score.
WD Street Experience: Still a bit peeved that the Walking Dead is hogging the scare zones. However, I was quite surprised when I really went through the zones. It works as due to the dark, you can’t tell who’s human and who’s a walker (which is how they got me a few times).
I can’t say which one was my favorite due to the facts that you see one, you've seen them all. To my own surprise, some of them got me a bit towards the end. In total, I’m giving the experience a 7.5/10

I've decided to give more input on each of these ideas, just in case the summary isn't enough.
Nightingales
Title: Night Rounds
Protagonist: Ethan Cavelle Jr, grandson to Mark Cavelle, famous WWI soldier who was friends with Edward Rommel.
Notes: Would mention events in Blood Prey (like the famous body rip scene, definitely the ripping scene.)
Lady Luck will be mentioned and even appear eventually (This would also happen with HOH and SNS).
Holidays of Horror
Title: Holidays of Horror: Featuring H.R.Bloodengutz (A reverse of the original title.)
Protagonist: There will be no protagonist as Bloodengutz is still a psycho and is quite vengeful.
