  1. Hmmm....I wonder if this connects to Legacy's comment on IU about - "About houses, don't assume anything. Things just got exciting."
  2. Of course. I did like the reboot for what it was but it doesn't compare to the originals.
  3. Thank you for this. Evil Dead 80's and Evil Dead 2013 are completely different tones, characters, etc. All that's similar is the cabin setting, and even then it's used way differently in the original films.
  4. They just post this stuff randomly. They ain't a source IMO. This happens every time they post.
  5. Except the 53 was at 1:07. The 23 at 1:37. Seemed far to assume.
  6. https://mobile.twitter.com/HorrorNightsORL/status/880488789268987905 I think I was right lol.
  7. Right now the one guy's who meant to update the stuff to the website's Internet is going wonky obviously.
  8. Of course it's after this whole thing about June not being a sales month comes out.
  9. Technically, their AHS was already announced. They just revealed fuller details ("Its only on Roanoke"). The parks are equal announcement wise, actually Orlando is sorta ahead for now because we have tickets up. Hollywood has more stuff to announce than we do since they have all IP's so they won't have any "grouped" announcements like our originals. Icon / Two IP's: July Last IP / Originals / VR: August
  10. IU's Legacy I think makes a good point about this whole thing. Though some on this board are already contesting it over there. But I think it makes more sense and is more constructive then to just say "lol marketing sucks where's the houses we already got leaked to us". You can read it on the most recent pages of HHN27 Speculation on that board. The point that's most important is that he says Marketing may have seen June as a dead sales month. He points out other "major park haunts" being quiet as well. He's not wrong. Howl-O-Scream Tampa, HHNO's "main competitor", just announced a ticket deal YESTERDAY. And that's it from them. They have not even announced THEIR theme, which was announced last year in...June. Knott's Scary Farm, HHN Hollywood's main competitor, never announces in June anyway recently. Seems like a good point.
  11. Devil's advocate: "Icon" is actually referring to an icon for something, not a physical HHN icon. The fact it's capitalized might be coding thought I'm not expert. Not gonna deny, since the most recent HHN Twitter response is suspicious but you can't trust those either way.
  12. This is probably the case. In that case, next house will be in early July likely.
  13. I would say so but they won't see that rant anyway and wouldn't really care. Just playing devil's advocate.
  14. The announcement schedule is just odd this year. Like there's been like some consistency in past years but this year's been weird. April was a dead zone and June announcement wise is looking to be as wise. I'm glad we aren't getting everything on one night in August but 1 house a month doesn't feel like too much to ask. Part of me does feel they may be reacting to leaks, a sort of "Well you already know everything" attitude.
  15. What Tobias said, honestly none of the themes particularly fit "claustrophobic" this year. Maybe Saw with use of some gags? But nothing entirely closed in like Tomb was.
  16. Sprung 2 had Insidious, which is where Conjuring is going. The Scarecrow maze appears to be in Tent 1 this year.
  17. All in one day with scarezones, usually in August.
  18. Yeah it's still a vampire house. "Vamp 74" was a case of people not identifying jokes.
  19. Any reasoning for Thursday specifically, since I do agree with next week.
  20. I'd say likely. Me thinks they may have wanted to get past the date of the Pulse shooting before announcing this month. And Hollywood has confirmed they wanted to announce mid-June. From Legacy on IU: "Conjuring was fully approved until it wasn't. And the house was basically built by the time the legal issues got pushed into licensing agreements. It's replacement sounds... serious. It definitely doesn't feel like a dark comedy house. And it may allow some unique visuals that hadn't been seen yet in a vampire house."
  21. https://mobile.twitter.com/Michael_Aiello/status/874450534916382720 The Vampire house is NOT Vamp 74. Legacy himself has now said that was just a joke.
  22. It was false info spread to people about a Fortune Teller themed Cindy being the Icon with a maze called Dark Fortunes.
  23. I think the "Vamp 74" might have been a joke. But the "Conjuring with vampires" is probably accurate.
