  1. I feel that a haunted house in a theme park world will rarely offer more than the occasional jump scare.

I think HHN has come to this realization as well.

Instead they focus on concept, story, and bringing "IP Experiences" that people want to see.

They also feel the need to cater to more than one crowd...

    General Public

    Teens

    Horror Fans

    Nostalgia Buffs

    HHN Die Hards

    Etc

The more they can lure in,the more coin they make.

Earlier I said I was content with 80% of this map. Not feeling Sabrina or Billie .. but I am not their target audience.

But I will be damned if the other 8 don't peak my curiosity in some way, shape, or form.

The name is awful, but I've heard the design is superb. I love the interactivity element out

I kind of like the simplistic nature of the name. It gets to the root cause of the concept and also has all that alliteration crap

I can say that of the speculated house lineup, there isn't any one single house that makes me want to skip (Blumhouse). Obviously a lot of variables happen, though.

Though I am not attending this year, I have to admit that while everything seems like it is going to be good - nothing is truly a hard selling point for me.

I am still not feeling Ghostbusters and still hoping that one doesn't happen....

I just feel like Ghostbusters would be better suited for the New York Area of the park as a Scarezone. Get an inflatable Stay Puft coming over the museum, some Slimer puppetry, and both ghosts and people being assaulted by ghosts ... It would just be a blast and a more open "photo op" area for sure.

Obviously it isn't going to happen that way, but I feel that is how you would get the most out of the property.

The house isn’t taking place during the drought...

It’s taking place right as the drought breaks.

I was going to move all the N:BP2 posts to the N:BP2 thread, but I can’t figure it out.

I did figure out that we have to use 2 for Nightingales. Blood Prey/Blood Pit. Initials all the same. They make our acronym life hard.

I personally feel like Nightingales: Pit of Blood sounds better .... But that is just nit picking what sounds like it could be an awesome house.

    Frustrating.

I’m one of a handful of people who can solve this riddle. It’s extremely “old school” and there’s probably only about 5 or 6 still active in the community who can solve it.

I wouldn't go that far, as I have been following the event forever and a day. I just haven't gone as frequently as many of ya'll.

  7. I will preface this by saying that I haven't seen "Us" as of yet, so I may be missing the point ...

But my understanding of the film is that the main characters in the film are being stalked by characters that are representatives of themselves. That dramatic effect of fighting against yourself would absolutely be lost in any environment - be it scare zone or house. So why approach this property as a possibility if the main hook is not probable.

I work greeter at Carnival and that IS what I’ve been doing all night. Dancing the night away to some great music.

Looks like somebody has just been tasked with getting a full playlist of music from Vamp '85.

    Whaddayasay?

This year is already off to an incredible start.

Also... YES! FINALLY, THE "KEEP-IT-MOVING" PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY LETTING ME SLOW DOWN AND TAKE IN ALL THE SETS AND ENERGY!!!

The "Keep it Moving" people as they were so aptly named were horrendous in Blumhouse on Saturday. To the point that in one room, an actor jumped out to.do his thing and an op interrupted to keep things moving forward.

I bit my tongue, but fortunately got a survey at the end of the night and someone also passed my little complaint on The Twitter Machine to HHNOrl
