Rumors are that JK Rowling actually likes HHN and wouldn't mind them using HP area for the event, it's Warner Bros. that tells them no..
That's just that, a rumor. Universal Creative hasn't even asked if could be open during the event probably because they have no intention to do so.

Doubt it. They wouldn't risk having any damage done to their new land taking into consideration the demographic that HHN draws in. Same reason why Diagon Alley won't be open in Orlando and probably the reason why they haven't asked Warner Bros. If it could be open during the event because it's not even in consideration. Besides even with the future berm covering up the side of Hogsmead facing Universal Plaza, the audio from the New York Scarezone would spill into that area completely going against the parameters J.K. and Warner set.

I dunno, I just think he would've said no like he did when he as asked if one of the mazes as 3D or music related earlier in the year. I just dont see the point in being dodgey with the question if there truly wasn't a show this year.
Why would he want any form of negative press coming out of the panel.

Everyone calm down for a moment. Two words: Evil Dead. Yes, I'm incredibly excited for this maze, but let's hope these ricochet effects aren't just red mist coming out of holes in the wall.
Two Words: John Landis. The fact he's not only allowing this to happen but is saying it's better than what was in Florida completely negates the "Evil Dead Hype" argument.

I'm still amazed at the fact John Landis is saying Hollywood's Maze is going to be more elaborate than its Orlando counterpart. Hype overload indeed.

I honestly think if there wasn't going to be a show, he would've flat out said no.
Then again he never flat out said no about The Conjuring... and here we are.
Who knows but it seemed like a typical PR response to me. Even Murdy said right after "so any questions about AWiL?" I mean why would you want negative news coming out of your big Panel.

I love that someone asked for shows right after Murdy said to just keep it about AWiL. Landis saying "hype this shit up" and calling Rick Baker "a little shit" was the best goddamn thing ever. People saying he is mean clearly have never met him before, he was a blast.

They have a decent sized fan base (not sure why) but nowhere near the size that warrant them coming to HHN.

So I read up on that clown motel that we were speculating on for the original, cause I saw a pic of it on reddit... Apparently one of the guests saw a clown fucking a Christmas ham. This is not a maze I want to go into, it's a level of hell. I hope the original has nothing to do with clowns fucking Christmas hams.
Wasn't this shut down already? Ferox brought up a good point... Murdy mentioned he was inspired but an NPR News story before this made it on their site.

I think Face Off is like an old castle or something, it looks a bit cartoony. I dunno, seems kind of weird. (jokes, I'm not an idiot)
Totally irrelevant but I'm going to miss that out of place Castle Facade. Hopefully Face Off ends up being great so HoH can go out with some dignity.

I think that there is gonna be the governers tank outside of TWD. If I remember correctly when Murdy was walking about vehicles for mazes he said and I'm paraphrasing of course "we even got a tank, but it doesn't go inside a maze." And the cell block C facade is a little further down this year than last so we're getting a tank

I'll be very excited for AWiL but even I know it's a low awareness property. If you see the comments on Facebook people can't event tell what the Facade is. It's going to be interesting to see the Fan Reactions to it. Seems like a good balance of GP and Hardcore horror fans will be there.
