  1. Please do one of these every year dude, that's just too cool! Matt and his Laser Sword (legally they have to say laser sword) looks particularly great lol
  2. I completely understand that times change....but I just cant imagine losing Terminator Maybe they could find other ways of putting it to good use during HHN. Perhaps a return of Chucky's Insult Emporium? That holding area with the balcony would be a good spot for it
  3. Thanks for putting in that research Hunnylvr, that must have taken a while! Im all for getting the news as early as possible. Just seems funny that theyre sliding these releases earlier and earlier, what other event in Orlando gets that kind of attention? UO's marketing team must be trying to get people to book their vacation time before anything else catches their attention lol
  4. Now that I think about it...have they EVER done a TWD joke? Weird considering that they've featured all the other big shows like Empire, Game of Thrones, etc
  5. My buddy and I couldn't agree on this and I want yalls take on it. So we've recently seen a Halloween and Halloween 2 house at HHN, so it makes sense that they may be planning on mazes themed after other sequels. Do you think they would ever do Halloween 3, the one that doesn't have Michael Myers in it? I think H3 was a good movie, had cool concepts, and could actually translate into a HHN maze pretty well. Buuuuut your average joe would be wondering where the heck the guy in the white mask went. So will we ever see an H3 house or would they opt to go straight to Halloween 4?
  6. Youre good homie, I don't think most people took this as woman-bashing I agree that they need to change things up a bit this year. Some sort of monstrous/demonic icon would be nice, after 2 years of human clowns I could do with some scarier fare. Personally I'd like to see an original icon this year rather than bringing back one of the oldies.
  7. I agree completely, but at the end of the day I think the question will boil down to marketability. Your average joe probably doesnt even know the shining was a book lol. Universal has shown over the past few years that they are prioritizing broad appeal more than ever. While a maze based on the novel would be amazing, 80% of the audience would exit the sound stage scratching their heads wondering where the "here's Johhny" guy went. Unfortunately I think only the most recognizable iterations of an IP will be adopted
  8. I would usually say its too early to start speculating on show topics but if they can start releasing maze info in march then I guess NOTHING is too early lol. I personally hope that they stay away from race, politics, and anything too controversial. If we lost B&T like Hollywood did I'd be super bummed out Here are some topics that could find its way into the script: Overall Avatar theme, let our beloved "Sex with our tails" running joke go out with a boom Kim/kanye divorce Beauty and the Beast 50 shades darker The falcon's superbowl flop Kong skull island Disney's pandora/star wars/ toy story expansions The Rock in moana
  9. yeah he made me swear to be discreet about that lol
  10. my buddy who works at universal studios. He just told me tonight that the announcement was made confirming 3 of the mazes the mexican one is supposed to be called La Muerta and the Evil Dead maze will be themed around the new film, not the originals
  11. apperently the universal studios president just confirmed a couple mazes. along with the evil dead maze there will be a resident evil maze and another with a mexican halloween theme. I CANT WAIT to see those psycho nurses from resident evil
  12. this is actually kind of unsettling in a weird way...PLEASE tell me youre like 8 years old because that would make this legitimately scary then lol
  13. I hope they lean towards the original evil dead more than evil dead 2 and army of darkness when theyre getting inspiration for themeing. Ive never been a huge fan of the funny mazes so i hope they concentrate on the demons and possessed people
  14. 2009 is the show to beat! billy mays was freaking hilarious! as for possible themes this year, a Game of Thrones might be possible...even though its a little 2012ish I feel. But if they keep the medieval theme they can tie in the Hobbit and how not great it was lol
