    So I really wanted to audition this year...

    But it just isn't going to line up.

    My job is forcing everyone to change their schedules and while I will probably have a 6-3 time slot. I could leave as late as 8:00.

    I wont know this till 7-26.

    On top of that my job doesn't like to work with time off just to go audition. I was going to probably have to call in sick.

    Finally, if I even so much as told them that I was going for another job (even though it is a seasonal thing that would not affect them) I would pretty much not have a job...

    So all I can do is hope that my situation changes next year <_<

    But break a leg for anyone who is going tomorrow.

    "Willow Huts"...ummm I could be mistaken but weren't there little hut stations set up where the jack-o-lanterns have been for the past years. I believe they were back in 2006 in the harvest of souls scarezone. The creatures from The Village or something like that popped out of them.

    I don't remember huts. there were the tall tree/scarecrow/Jeepers Creepers guys...

    There were the little goblin gus running around with what sounded like a duck call...

    The hooded skull looking guys...

    And then the dapper dressed pumpkin guys.

    Again, there is really info out there... I don't know who the good Doc is talking about... But so far I have heard pretty much the same from all my sources. No straight movie houses and mythology will be involved.

    ^^ With the random assortment of characters I can see it being a photo op area like Fractured Tales. I wouldn't mind taking pictures with some of the characters listed for the zone.

    With the cyclops added it is just making it more and more obvious that there will be Greek Mythology.

    Like I said before (about the willow huts) I think they would be awesome in a Norse type lore sz...

    Also I noticed some spec on bedclothes... This could be literally a bedclothes scareactor... But I'm leaning towards a generic character in bedclothes... same with "Willow Huts" sure they COULD be the hut... I guess... But it is more likely they are just a generic character the goes boo from the hut.

    Oh and sticking with the whole myth idea I would love to see meg mucklebones and Blix

    It's funny every year people see things in the teaser.. never is anything...

    BUT the Lantern does form two "X"s in the grating (XX=20)... so I guess this time there is SOMETHING... :)

    I don't think the lantern is without significance though. Just like BM's mirror, Jack's road map, or the outside of the theater... it is significant to the year. Aside from a few, I don't really see the wild speculations (yet).

    It's odd... because it seems like a code while most of the others seem straight forward...

    Perhaps this is an integral character?

    I keep thinking Trickster... keep with the whole midevial/mythological theme.... so Imp, Pan, Loki, Native american Trickster, hermes, etc...

    Yeah I remember it. :P

    Or it could be a private school. It wouldn't be a regular High School (like Hell's High) i wouldn't think due to the bed clothes.

    There is no doubt that Hollywood is going to be a horror throught the years (much like 16):

    •Queen Of Hearts, Chainsaw #1,Dead Cheerleader, Mary Shaw, Stilts, Chainsaw #3, Pumpkinhead, Chucky - Hollywood.

    So so far, IMO we have a Museum of horror, a greek mythology house, a possible greek mythology sz, and "horror through the years" sz... possibly sprung 2 being a "horror of the past" house as well

    My apologies Jeramy. I had never seen the download before now.

    No need to apologize... not everyone pours through the resources on the site like I do... obsessed much? :)

    Someone mentioned willow huts before too.

    Yeah someone got cast to be in a Willow hut... or as one :P

    I know what they are but have no idea of any folklore behind them... except that the are earth-friendly and kids play in them.

    But staying on topic... Notice the bars in the lantern form 2 "x"s

    I got an email showing a better image of the Lantern.

    Yeah it looks a lot like the terra throne to me... or ancient Greek/Mespotamian

    Oh and as a side note I went through some of the code... but not all of it... Lot there... so I'll get around to and post if I find anything.

    I was contemplating "Willow hut" and I know what they are... a hut made of, typically, living willow trees... But I can't for the life of me find real info on the history behind them. They've been used by many cultures and they look like a witch house or maybe the home of some Norse folklore.

    most of you are talking like you already know what we will have and not have, till the park officially releases the house names we will not know much about this years houses.

    I'll admit lips are sealed this year more so than ever before. Many of my regular, trusted, sources have stopped saying anything. I not really thrilled about this move... But I understand it. In the past there was infinitely more info floating around about the event for the year... but that doesn't mean there isn't SOME info that can be trusted.

    Let me put it this way. Enough people that I trust as reliable have confirmned "no movie houses" that I am about 80% sure that is the case. I don't typically post things I not relatively sure about, unless I'm just completely speculating. But you're right, nothing is ever concrete until it happens... So take it with a grain of salt.

    I wish what you said was true, that sounds great, but, the past 4 years I've been to the event had movies, Hell 2007 and 2009 was ALL about movies, Uni will always make movie houses, because Uni is a Movie based park, while i wish they made new houses, (and maybe this year there will be no movie houses) i doubt they'll stop that.

    There WILL NOT be movie houses.

    Queen of Hearts may be straightforward (like Vampanese from last year)

    Could be like was said a best of scarezone... That would take care of our returning content so we can focus on the new.

    Of course A woman who is pre-eminent in her area is a Queen of Hearts.So it might simply be the head of the area.

    the Queen of Hearts is also from the short poem with the same name... which is supposed to be based off Elizabeth of York... Who has some interesting legends surrounding her... but nothing really scary.
