Hmm well it was their first year back from a hiatus they didn't want to take many risks so an original house back them only seemed natural to a haunt, but let's face it, HHNH is a juggernaut out here in LA. And if they want to keep topping there performance every year there gonna make sure those five mazes are based on the most marketable things in horror, which is why we may get TWD back again :\

The asylum was done pre hiatus? I could be wrong about that, but even if I am the event has picked up some steam and it's not gonna stop now to do an original house. And I don't think an Asian based house will pull in the amount of people a Hispanic based one did, not out here in LA. I mean if you guys are saying how so many people didn't understand El Cucuy which is essentially the Mexican boogyman, then an Asian based maze would be even less known!?

I'm not saying the maze won't be recognized and unable to bring people in, but it won't compare to La Llorona or El Cucuy. It would basically be an original concept, which we know how Murdy feels about those. He got away with La Llorana and El Cucuy because he was able to market it in this area, again Orlando is a whole different story because they actually enjoy original houses over there, which is why they can take more risks. I don't see murdy ever making a complete original house out of the blue with out some sort of marketing image to put on it.

Okay guys your not thinking straight at all. Let's go back to why Murdy did La Llorona, it's because there is a large Hispanic population out here in the LA area. Ima assume that most of you on these forums are white, so when you said a lot of people who went through el Cucuy didn't understand it I have to disagree. Everyone I spoke to about the maze understood it. Whether it was a great maze thats a whole different question.
Now going back to why murdy did La Llorona and El Cucuy, is because it's easier to, you guessed it, "Market" here in the LA area.
Now let's say we get this Greek, Asian, or Egyptian Mythology maze you guys all want.
Ima have to assume that only those small percent of Greek people living out here will understand it and the even fewer people on these forums will as well.
And that is way it simply won't happen. I could be wrong but this is looking at it from a logical perspective.

I think most of el Cucuy's low ratings came from the venue, it was just to small and awkward, they need to get a new venue next year and ditch Persian square.
And seriously KISS????!! I think a lady gaga creature and freaks maze or whatever they call themselves would be more terrifying then that!

I now know the problem with this maze!
I've been through this maze at least 10 times this year no joke! And the problem is only 3 scenes are memorable. Cell block C, the helicopter scene and the fish tank room. Everything else is just hallways of nothing!!!!! The last scene with all the pigs and meat stuff makes no freaking sense at all!!! It's completely irrelevant, as if the ran out of ideas on what to put there so they just made up a whole section! Huge letdown, I honestly don't see how so many of you liked this maze 0.o

Just got home from HHN tonight, it was a blast. sad we have to wait 11 months now :,(

Honestly who cares the show sucks this year nothing you can do about it.... And no it's not cus of gay jokes, there's a whole bunch of edgy jokes in the script which is perfectly fine with me. I feel like those jokes seem to be the funniest. I like using stereotypes to be funny I feel like we all need to be able to laugh at ourselves. And if your gonna complain about a few gay jokes then you shouldn't even whatch the show at all! Where's the article that complains about the black and Hispanic jokes??? People just like to be stupid and crave attention. -___-

Idk guys after going to knotts yesterday it taught me to appreciate HHN way more. I think the event has its flaws but at the same time it's still awesome
idk I think a lot of us have way to high of expectations. I wouldn't like murdy to leave because he's such a good person who actually cares about his fans and gives them his attention, hell for all we know he may be reading all of this stuff. If he does decide to retire then I'd be really sad but I doubt he will this year because It just feels like if murdy were to leave he'd go out with a bang and make sure that he creates the best event he possibly could! So I'm feeling he'll be around for another year -
Yea this scare got placed in the 2nd weekend and got me really good because it was so unexpected

Yeah I did it first with early entry on my 2nd visit and it made me realize that it was a good house, but not better then last years and deffinatly not better then Insidious.

Okay again Orlando can do whatever they want cuz they are the king of haunts they can do any type of maze and people will love it because they are used to any type of maze, we aren't!?
Japan would not do a Latino based house because no one over there would understand it, which could be applied over here.
