  1. Did this last year with the lineup calling Tomb as the best based on concept (I was correct with it being my personal favorite).

Going to call this as my favorite based off location and concept. Something about this one clicks with me. Likely the combination of the setting and the deadly forces inhabiting it.

Nobody complained because there was not a specific countdown leading to nothing three weeks before.

Got the sweepstakes. Countdown to something for sure.

See, Exorcist did nothing for me. I didn't find it scary at all and never felt the doom, chills, or fear that a lot of other people did. It was in my bottom three.

Now Tomb of the Ancients is a whole different story. That house terrifies me to this day just thinking about it! I had never let out an audible scream at the event, even when I was so scared going into my very first house during 24. However when those walls dropped causing the LOUD band and caused the floor to shake I screamed so loud! The fact that the effect happened so close to the start of the house made me a total wreck the whole way thru.  It was one house that I made a point to go thru at least once a night (sometimes more than once) because I loved the way it made me feel. First house I had been into since 24 and the walking dead forest scene that I felt like that. It didn't help that it was SO dark and claustrophobic in there too. Fun fact, A&D had to fight for a higher budget to put a ceiling throughout the entire maze just to make it feel even more claustrophobic. Ceilings in mazes are pretty rare (especially in the sprung tents) because of the added cost to run water suppression systems required by law. However, after going thru the house without a ceiling, they knew they had to fight for it because it would add so much to the house. I'm sure most guests didn't even notice the ceiling, but it added to the claustrophobic feeling which was the whole point of the house. A&D had never done a house that played so much on that fear and they wanted to see if they could pull it off. To me, they did, and they did it perfectly!

Tomb was one of my favorite houses in the past few years. Fantastic design, scary, intense. Shame several parts changed from Preview to week 2.

but the countdown did lead to something just not what you wanted it to count down to. Never once did universal say that the clock was gonna lead to anything specific such as an announcement or full reveal!

    There it is.

  3. Just happy to be here. Waiting for my free screensaver when the counter ends and I'll be happier than ever to change out my current one.

I'll be at the event, I'll have fun, I'll get drunk and will have spent probably $700 over the month for it. You'll do the same and enjoy your damn cell phone wallpaper.

I disagree on a coasting year. Your expecting too much in JULY! Info this early should not be expected. The year is gonna be great

And taking people for granted is not new for UNI. They run a buisness

And yes the twitter was fun

A welcome like minded person and been going nearly as long as I have to HHN. Hmm.

See now I like you critical. I never went to 2011 but the house concepts and the lineup seems so amazing, and considering that the House of the Year that year was a 3D house should sell that it was a great year. If I had a HHN time machine I would go to HHN 19 and 21.

Forsaken got house of the year. And in-between. Bit of story behind that.

Crit has access to the same evidence I do -- more, in fact. This is not a debate.

The lady doth protest too much. Posting someone's license plate, or any other personal information, is absolutely inappropriate behavior, and shouldn't be allowed on any reputable forum. Don't bother responding - I don't wish to interact further with someone who takes up as much space defending being a creep as you do, and will therefore be blocking you. Be well.

Oh don't worry, would not respond for you but the rest of this forum and that was your first mistake, to think this was a reputable place.

Guess our interpretation of being a "Creep" is vastly different. Never one to assume but I highly doubt this individual was a victim of an actual stalker and simply wants to swing around his high and mighty sword. Blocking anyone won't stop the behavior that you describe and I am fully against. Gotta relax man.

Yeah I agree with you entirely. It's amazing that I'm reading that because people noticed a cool license plate, some follow a main scareactor's Twitter page, and some people notice when an icon character walk into the park that means they're "stalkers." Shocking to see what constitutes "stalking" to this forum. And when I asked for evidence of actual stalking no one had it.

Odd bunch in these ranks huh? People are quick to claim and point stalker! when I doubt even 10% here actually had one. I'll be waiting in the wing for the evidence with you.

I will PM you something soon discussing this year's surprises. There's a lot you don't know yet

What you sent was...interesting. Thats for sure. I think it is safe to share with everyone else what you told me but I'll leave that up to you as it is your information. They'll be quite interested with the Caretaker stuff.

To play devil's advocate, I believe the "stalking" concerns came along with the comments regarding trying to see if the car was in the same place at the same time on other days.

Still not sure how people would construe cross examining information as stalking. I saw it, Halcyon thinks to have seen the same within a four day period or whatever it was. But fine. Misinterpretation of a word/action is rampant. Clearly can see that with this candle stuff.

I think we have better things to talk about, but I wasn't accusing anyone of 'stalking'. This IS an invasion of someone's privacy, though. It's crossing a line. And I can imagine if you were in their shoes, you'd be creeped out by it, too. There is absolutely no reason to drag someone's personal life outside of their job into this without their consent. That's all I'm saying.

Anyway, let's get back to the important stuff.

Not that much better if I'm still getting replies to my speculation and experience with on a SINGLE day. Where was the invasion of privacy? On a public road, with public information (license plate) and seeing someone who chose what they were to wear that day, marketing or not. I have been in those shoes in one form or another. When I had my vanity plate I would typically have one person a day taking a photo of that plate.

Dragging a person into an anonymous online discussion without a picture of them and only of a publicly visual plate? Not sold on that claim. You nor I know for a FACT if this isn't a marketing initiative or not.

What I said was that I wasn't going to go collect it for you -- I'm not your google. You know more people on the inside than I do, you can listen to them or ignore them, I don't much care which. And absolutely the license plate nonsense crossed the lines of appropriate behavior. And we're going to leave it there.

On a separate note, has no one noticed the similarity between the tag line on the site and the first line of "Don't Fear the Reaper"?

Not our job to find the evidence to back Your claim. I am not following on how it is not "appropriate behavior" or even questionable.

Wow, stalk much?  Probably just means been going to / working for HHN Since 2007...or Since VII...or one of 500 million things you wouldn't possibly know.

It's not a hint and certainly nothing you should be stopping the driver for, it's just a fan of the event.

I don't know Florida license plates, but most states allow up to 8 digits.  If for some insane reason they decided to give hints by employees registered license plates, HHN27TWD or HHN27AHS would both work.

Take off your tinfoil hat and leave this fan or employee in peace.

Stalking? I don't think you even read the post... I happen to see this on the road WHILE I was driving myself. Not following anyone around or bothering whomever the driver may be.

Again, did not stop the driver. Neither you nor myself know who this driver is. I do not see the harm in what I did compared to what other "fans" have done to actual confirmed scare actors. Believe me on this one, I know.

I don't expect it to be so blatantly obviously. Sure they are allowed up to 8 characters but does not mean they have to use all eight of them.

Ya got me. I'll be sure to stop driving past his house and leaving cryptic voicemail.

Just to add, Specialty license plates typically do not have the Orange in the middle and if it does the text is written over it.  I have one.

However Florida plates are just 6 digits if they are generic/normal ones.

You are able to customize anyway you please within the character limit and approval by the representative. I too have a personalized plate (or did a year ago).

    I seriously thought this was a Poe/satire.

Speaking as a TM (but not as a part of the HHN team or for the company, as always)--please don't let your speculation extend into our personal lives. That's....a whole new level of unnecessary.

Even if I were truly including a random driver, this is extremely tame compared to what other "fans" have done to actual TMs who are scareactors. I made a comment on their shirt and license plate seeming connected. You're the one taking the jump claiming I'm being some scumbag.

This place sure hasn't changed over years. Accused of stalking and being an overall scummy person. lol.

Thank you for the support Halcyon and PartyCityGhost. Not sure I know who you are PCG but you seem to know me. PM if you feel comfortable. Talking with Halycon now, may have something new between us.

I've seen this car too actually... Except it was on Universal Blvd. heading toward Portofino.

I didn't think anything of it before, but if the car is driving the same route often that is rather peculiar..

Though if we saw it the same day that might just be coincidence. I saw it on Friday afternoon. Was this close to the same time you did?

This past Friday? I was over in the area but didn't see it then. Did you happen to catch a look at the driver?

I was on I-drive this previous Sunday when I happened to see this vehicle with the driver in the HHN polo. Do you live over that way? Maybe you can catch them again.

I saw this car driving down I-drive the other day while headed to work. Pulling up next to the car I see the driver was wearing a glasses and a horror nights polo. Thinking nothing of it he passes in front of me and I notice the license plate.

HHN S07. (Expiration on the plate is 12-17 if you're wondering, can provide larger photo if needed)

That of course being in relation to Walking Dead S07 that finished its run earlier this year. While this may relate AHS S07 that premieres this year, I doubt this type of advertising would be used for maybe an easter egg or preview within the house for Season 7.

If not walking dead (though highly probable), what could S07 mean?
