DTH, I have no clue how anyone could come out of that maze and think anything less than "HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AMAZING!!!"! And I'm not even a fan of the franchises!
Doctor Jeffula, I was a bit worried going in to the stripped down VIP experience since we had sold our friends on our experience last year, but we all had such a great time that they didn't even care about the differences between what we described and what we received this year. I honestly believe that VIP will always be worth it if you can afford it. The people I go with and I only make it to HHN once a season and we save up. The lines are so insane that the $210 is worth the unlimited FOL alone. The lounge and food and drinks are all just bonuses. While initially I was bummed we didn't have a special backlot experience, our guide Sheryl was so much fun that she made our trolley journey a blast. And yes our "exclusive scarezone" was cheesey and silly, but it really was a fun addition to set the tone for the evening and say "Welcome!". I'll continue doing it every year as long as I can afford it.
Yeah the unlimited FOL is why i want to drop the extra money lol. Even though i didn't have to wait too long in lines for most of the mazes with GA this year but the long waits get irritating, especially if you're next to irritating people!!!!!

Good review, your thoughts are very similar to mine and i do agree, a lot of mazes are too bright. I think the final scene on AVP would be WAY better if it was darker

Good read about your VIP experience. It sounds like they are cutting a lot back compared to previous years though did you think it was worth it this year compared to last?

Frozen Saw lady is definitely in there, I saw her! Along with every other prop from every maze ever. Aside from the blatant re-use of the chainsaw to the mouth in FDTD, which did not belong at all.
i saw her every year besides THIS year........i hope its not a bad omen

I swear that Dracula is the maze with the oddest combination of reviews on both coasts. Some say it's great, some say it's okay, some say it's bad, not really any consistency.
Some people LOVED it over here i didn't care for it that much. It had its moments but for the most part it was pretty lackluster

Merch this year was excellent, i got the AWIL shirt and my girlfriend got the walking dead Terminus shirt. I don't care for the event shirt because i think it was lame like it was last year. They also had a slash shirt and an AVP shirt. One thing i want to say is Whats up with all the Chucky merch? There was the chucky doll, shirt and the limited edition pin?

i had a feeling that the lower lot will have the longest wait time for me because people who finish the upper lot and backlot will merge onto the lower lot to do those mazes

No we were next to her lol i was the short fat guy you were telling me how you did early access last year and explaining the process of it and how it was basically a 5 minute head start or something like that

This was so-so. I feel that they didn't put as much effort in most of the maze design but I'm also tired of the walking dead HOPEFULLY this is its last run but i won't be shocked if it comes back

If you've NEVER been on the terror tram go on this. If you have.....dont get bummed out if you missed it

This maze was one of the best ones btw. Yes it did feel short but the design of the maze was amazing and the scare actor crew was probably the best I've seen at HHN

Everything was very well designed but wasn't scared too much. The alien puppets looked funny but the predators looked bad ass. I think the maze was a little over hyped but it wasn't bad

If we got this maze a few years ago instead of the other 3D mazes it would've been amazing BUT we seen a lot of the 3D mazes before and its played out. But that doesn't mean this maze was terrible it was good and had its moments.
