  1. JDW said they were called crows during his UTH.

Crows are blackbirds as are ravens. Doc's tumblr pic of birds appears to be a flock or more appropriately a murder of crows.

Wow... Why did I get the birds wrong TWICE?

I think I should probably lie down because apparently I've come down with a severe case of brain failure.

Yeah, I remember that. Did we ever come to a consensus on that or did we just drop it for something else?

  2. nigtingales arent black birds

Was thinking of a different bird.

Then again, in the houses last year, according to JDW there were ravens (I didn't see them, but I wasn't looking) which people were equating to Nightingales (if I remember correctly).

Still doesn't change the fact that I think he's implying things got changed around, instead of gotten rid of altogether.

  3. something got nixed from dr jimmy I guess I said "Goodbye Charlie" too soon? Maybe I should have said “Bye bye blackbird” instead?

Or perhaps nothing has actually been altered after all?

Just taking the quote at face value it seems then that "Nightingales" got canned.

But using the logic I would when taking tests, when there's an option for "none of the above" there's usually a reason. So, nothing probably happened.

  4. yeah we know it commng back dr jimmy cryptic performance heart form damm yankees we think is walking dead

I was also saying that this presented more evidence, through the fact that it is plausible that some sort of licensing agreement is still in effect which would require further collaboration between the two companies and worse, a third house. Not having been keeping up with Doctor Jimmy's clues (because I don't know anything about theatre) and opted to follow the Cassilda clues which are easier for me to solve, as well as not having access to the park nor documents regarding the licensing, I was simply trying to express that if it happens, then proof was in front of us the entire time.

This is fairly possible. Although, perhaps he was "killed" and his soul went into the silver headed cane that Jack had which is also pictured in the most recent image.

Either way, I'm starting to think that you're right.

  5. but chance deosnt talk like that unless there more to chance then meets the eye

Maybe there is, constant emotional abuse can destroy people, especially when they're already mentally disturbed.

But you're right, it doesn't seem like her, but who else served Jack? He's always been kind of Independent in his madness.

The thing is, did we really know much about Chance? Did she even have much of a character to begin with? I wasn't at the event when she was there so... Meh.

  6. I was able to bring up some of the image, but I don't know what it is yet.

    Something of religious significance?

The "Chaotic prince" (Jack being Fear's agent of chaos, and Jack dethroning Oddfellow, who would essentially be the "king" of the original carnival) is definitely implying our speaker is talking about someone who has served under and is abused in some way by Jack, so... This is very likely to be Chance.

  7. In theory?!?!?!?!?!??!

Here is the quote from the twitter post......

And if you went back a page you would see that I said:

    "There's this guy: http://en.wikipedia....Charlie_Clouser

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, though. If this is SNS or something would he not say that it was a "sequel to a house?""

So yes. I know that it is an "original" house. What I mean by "in theory" is that "original" houses at HHN can go a few different ways.

A: It could be entirely original or original enough to where the sources or influence of said house were almost invisible. Something like "The inbetween"

B: Stepping down a degree of originality, it could be based on a movie or franchise that's popular, but they want to put their own spin on it, something A&D should be known for doing by this point.

Examples would include: Body collectors, Saws 'n' Steam, Interstellar terror, etc.

If it is more likely that it is possibly something more like case B, then it would probably be okay to make connections between existing properties in order to guess what it might be. Which people were already doing.

  8. My first thought reminded me of the discussion we had here a while back about Charlie Splitfoot and the Fox Sisters. My second thought is that since A&D reads these posts, the mention of Charlie Splitfoot would be a red herring. After all, if I end up solving a code name, then it's too darn easy :)

    A&D reads our spec?

I can hear them... Laughing at us.

  9. *looks at Doc's tumblr*

Doc posted pics of several Charlies. Bucket, Brown, Chaplin...

As I have wondered for a bit, who is Charlie?

This may be a difficult code name to decipher. Sooo many famous Charlies.

As Cody reminded me on my FB, HHN has it's own Charlie.

    Charlie McPherson from Dead Exposure.

Interestingly enough, and no one has brought this up, but Charlie McPherson has connections to more than dead exposure.

He and his camera photos were also mentioned in "Zombiegeddon" as being analyzed by ZAP.

Zombiegeddon basically being brought upon by the events of the scarezone: "Zombie Gras" and New Orleans has been mentioned a few times, as well.

Then again, this probably refers to something else.

By the way, is there any way something like the "festival of the dead parade" could come back?

It DID appear during hhn X, the first year we had Jack the clown, after all.

  10. I could be totally off, but there was a former member of Nine Inch Nails named Charlie. (Part of the soundtrack from Saws N' Steam) Plus, I was just browsing around and there's a Bioshock character named Charlie. I've never played the game, but I remember there were people who tried to compare the game to SNS. Maybe this is a Saws and Steam 2 or just a steampunk based original house?

    There's this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Clouser

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, though. If this is SNS or something would he not say that it was a "sequel to a house?"

  11. oh my god have any of you heard vampire:the masquade game

Happiness in Slavery: your ghoul, Heather. Although her "happiness" is purely artificial and beyond her control. The Blood Bond is a quasi-mystical connection forged from the moment she took her first drink of your blood, and is akin to passive mind control. This is why you'll notice her "loyalty" is almost pathological in nature, and gets more and more obsessive the more blood you feed her over time.

i think we hhn orlando getting vampire :the masquade as the video game ip this year

While that's an excellent game, we already have "Vampyre." Also using tvtropes for our clues is kind of... A stretch.

(Vampyre if you don't know is, from what I remember, heavily based on the game series).

  12. Just wanted to mention something:

NIN mentioning "broken machine(s)" (as seen in the clue) is not relegated to just "Happiness in slavery."

In "Gave up" on the same album ("Broken") this theme appears again in the lyrics "still cannot fix this broken machine."

I think the one for "Happiness in slavery" probably means more, but in the interest of getting all of the information out, I thought this could be relevant.

Here's the information on both songs:
