For people mentioning bioshock, that joke is probably a reference to "Dead space." The "Interstellar terror" house from reflections of fear is actually heavily based on dead space. The NSO Columbus is basically the ship from that series. It even took an artifact that made people go crazy. The house and game came to be around similar times, as well. These things would most likely count as the "references throughout the years" that Jimmy was talking about. Sure, you had saws n' steam, but that house was a combination of bioshock and Valve's "Half-life 2" and conceptually was based more on Half-life 2, what with it taking place in an Orwellian society that "recycles organic matter" for the "greater good." There's also been some things pertaining to reflections of fear this year that keep popping up, as well.

According to my inside sources, this is what we can expect to see. Freak was right about one thing, AHS is coming. Expect it to reveal secrets of the future and the past. DOOM (The video game) will be represented as a house this year. This is in preparation for the rumored to be greenlit DOOM movie reboot. This will probably release in 2015. This year will SORT OF have a theme. Universal has apparently stated that it is no longer interested in doing more character based concepts as they think that the general audiences would miss out on these and thus miss out on the scares. Some guests have also said they feel less afraid of something if they understand it, so this is most likely a combination of a few things. No word on whether this decision is permanent or not. This year will be very similar to the last two, however, TWD will not be the theme. Instead, expect to see the park transformed into "the further" and get ready to see your darkest desires come true. This obviously includes a house. Leaked screenshots have surfaced of the NSO Columbus making a return, although apparently under a different name. Guests will be boarding the Sulaco from the aliens series and for the first time they will be able to take aim at the creatures. Guests will be armed with airsoft replicas of the m41a pulse rifles and will go on a bug hunt. Sounds like it could either be based on disney's scrapped "Nostromo" project or "terror-werks." This house is suspected to be pulsed and extremely intense, but I haven't heard it referred to as an "extreme house" as of yet. This is also expected to coincide with a new dlc package or a new game. Either dlc for "ALIENS colonial marines" or a new game in the franchise. This house is also confirmed to have an RFID scanning system that will link to your account for said game and reward you with bonus XP in multiplayer for each visit. Or it could be one visit per user, unknown as of now. Maze 1 has been rumored to be a more "meta" project. Guests will think they will be brought on a free tour through a house specifically designed to be lit up house that reveals the "behind the scenes" work of hhn. However, this is false. VERY FALSE. The walls will come down around you as your tour guide gets brutally torn apart and horrors you'll wish you've never seen mingle with more well known threats as not even telling yourself "it's only a haunt" will save you. The director is somewhat likely coming back. My source says they have seen a piece of concept art for the house. The scene was described as this: "There are two panels, done like a comic book, in a way. One panel has the words "love" written in blood on a wall and the other is a room that's only lit by three projectors. This room is projecting slides, whilst a person sits on a chair in front of it, images being projected on his face. Two other projectors are on either side of him as film reels are being fed through each others slots, tightening their grip around the man and strangling him with said film reel." Urban legends: Mary is confirmed. Partially, anyways. Mary could be something else but with how difficult it was to get the rights for "bloody Mary" last time, I think Universal decided to say fuck it. Unfortunately, this is all I have that I can really post here. I haven't heard anything about the other houses or the streets, but I'm sure information will get out whenever... Well... Information gets leaked again, I guess. Freak could be right about the other things, but I think he's just feeding you a line... It is the day it is, after all.

I wish I had your faith in the "hordes" system. I really do. Every year they have tried it, they have delivered one scare each time to me, and the most memorable thing about them was the amputee in the wheelchair that taunted one of the chainsaw guys. One year they did it and I saw no one with chainsaws and most of the actors just walked past me. They simply don't have enough people to do it.

I just got an idea and it's a long shot, but someone can probably do it. Someone should take the "cover for maze 1" image and try to unblurr and untwist the title or whatever that blur is. Photoshop is probably your best bet. Unfortunately, I can't tell if this is possible. I used to have photoshop but my copy isn't working right at the moment. This is a long shot, but if it is possible, I doubt they expected it to be. ...Or maybe they did.

Hello, folks. I'm back. Anyways, I figured I'd drop some spec here. I can't help but sense that their use of "it" implies familiarity. Like we don't know what's coming but we've seen it before. I've noticed some rumors about HHN having a sort of "return to form" as it were and I kind of feel like FEAR might come back. MIGHT come back. He could come and say: "Well shit dawg, this new shit is too whack for y'all. Guess we better go back to the old stuff." (That's totally how FEAR sounded, right?) And then we'd have scarezones and maybe some "shadows of the past" type stuff. Icons? I don't know. The only other thing I can think of is that MAZE_1 has some importance. They've done original stuff in the past, but they didn't draw attention to it like this one. A game changer, perhaps? Whatever it is, they're making it sound like it's going to be big. I'll also add a little something to my "fear comes back and shit" theory: The release of information is a little early, don't you think? Maybe that's because we'll already sort of know what's coming and they don't see there being much of a point to have the wait be as long? Anyways, I'd also recommend someone check that piece of shit PS blog. From what I've seen recently, it hasn't gone down, but it isn't active. Maybe they could use it again? I mean... PS isn't dead... Yet. Then again, I haven't kept up with the legendary truth stuff, so... You all probably know much more than I do. I just think the key to this whole thing is something from the past.

(I will tell you right now that this concept is an elaboration of a concept used in the FPSRPG video game "System shock 2." I also wrote this up mostly for fun and haven't really figured out a way to use it for my own purposes. No real research went into this specifically. Nor am I claiming any of this to be fact. I just thought it would be a cool concept) Literature has always referenced ghosts in some fashion. Be the intent information or for entertainment, ghosts have been lingering in the collective conscious for longer than human linguistics. As fascinating as the realm of the supernatural is for most, there might be more logical explanations for apparitions other than simply ectoplasmic based beings. The brain operates on electrical currents to function, this is a simple fact. As such, certain electrical impulses can interfere with brain wave activity. Think of what happens to electronic equipment when effected by lightning. This being said, all matter is energy. Energy is impossible to destroy. Not even the inevitability of demise can counter this fact. Most ghosts are said to appear after violent death occurs. Usually, during the death, the subject will panic. This causes the electrical currents in the brain to intensify more than usual. Matter being energy, after the body is no longer a suitable host the energy flows to the nearby matter and has a potential to manifest as a "psionic emanation." Psionic emanations may or may not retain sentience. If they do, there's a chance that the psyche of the deceased would have been damaged by the traumatic event and may behave mysteriously or erratically. If they are indeed sentient, this might explain why some appear as orbs of light, full body or otherwise. Psionic emanations rarely leave the place of their death as while their electrical current is great, it will weaken the further they move from the source. Psionic emanations, being electrical in nature can form onto almost anything. This explains why some may "haunt" certain locations or certain objects. Psionic emanations can be seen by some people who's brain waves are also functioning differently from other people. It should be noted that due to the fact that a subject has to be alive for this to be experienced, information on the exact specifications of a brain capable of experiencing this phenomenon limited. Emanations can however be more visible using electronic equipment, as the electric currents in man made equipment are more easily manipulated.

The place in that video reminds me a lot of the exclusion zone in Ukraine. It was caused by Chernobyl incident. Not sure if this means anything. I've not been able to piece any of ps's items together at all. I wonder if there really IS a connection sometimes.

It's Universal's event, I'm pretty sure they've considered doing no or immediate reveals in the past. I half think we're lucky we've gotten this much. This year's made 2011 look golden. As far as things ACTUALLY go (outside of the twisted thing I consider as reality) I'm expecting that they're either going to do a mass reveal or wait until later in the year to reveal things through the commercials. (I also don't mean to insult any users by saying this. My beef is with the copious amounts of things that have gone horribly wrong with the event so far.)

I wonder if they're going to reveal everything in go. PS got tired of the "rules." It sort of makes sense to me, and then everyone will probably get their wish of PS getting killed by something. Everyone walks away happy(?)
