I presume the no costume rule is so guests don't get mixed up between scareactors and park guests, no-one is going to believe someone in a super mario costume is a scareactor but may do in a zombie costume; Also a lot of costumes have implements that could be used to give people a good whack. I wouldn't feel safe walking through a House with an drunk guest in front of me with a fake axe.

However in the short term it may boost profits but in the long term it has the effect of putting people off. An element of audience satisfaction ensures repeat attendance and greater money spent.

It might be that they are overselling the event, to see if there is a demand for a 7 days a week, all day HHN next year.

I thought people complaining about the amount of dead space, because there are no fixed scarezones?, there are no fixed scarezones due to the space taken up by construction work.

I thought the licencing agreement banned universal from linking Harry Potter with Halloween Horror Nights.

Wouldn't the expansion of Harry Potter into USF also take up space that cannot be used for Halloween Horror Nights. Unless they are planning a generic London Facade with nothing to do with Harry Potter.

Looking at the google Map of Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, they appear to be linked by roads/pavements on the backlot. Would it be possible, to have IOA and USF linked together through the backlot during Halloween Horror Nights, Houses/Mazes could be placed in the dark backlot area and parts of Islands such as Jurassic Park and Poseidions fury could be opened during Halloween horror Nights. While areas of the park like Harry Potter and Zeuss Landing that cannot be used during Halloween horror Nights remain closed off.

Is the overcrowding something that Universal can solve by next year or is HHN in for more long term crowds?
