This is what Screamscape just posted- According to a report from Behind The Thrills, as the rumor mill indicated, Legendary Truth will be returning in 2013 for Halloween Horror Nights. This year expect them to take what they’ve learned and experimented with over the years leading up to previous appearance of Legendary Truth, and then mix in the online and in-park interactivity we saw them use last year with Horror Unearthed.
Even better… it looks like Universal Orlando will begin to push Halloween Horror Nights storylines and mythos throughout the year instead of just as a last second lead-in to the event itself in the fall. With Legendary Truth merchandise announced to go on sale online starting in June, I’ve got a feeling this year’s story will also start to unfold at about the same time, which is just fabulous news.I was thinking that LT will prob tie into our Prison themed house.... Investigating a haunted old prison would be awesome...

In the New York area opposite to where the SZ's are usually at is Bullwinkle's Gym.... maybe the Pic is a reference to a SZ?

Not sure if I saw the same Cabin In The Woods as you guys.. I loved the movie.. It was original, new, exciting, scary, funny...all together it was a great movie which they could do an awesome house with

Just thought I'd chime in with an observation, but looking at the speculated list right now it seems that at least 4 of the houses have quite a bit of thematic overlap.
1) If we get TWD, it would hopefully include the prison from season 3. However, we also seem to be getting an original prison-themed house.
2) Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't CiTW and ED share the major element of...a cabin...plus an ancient race of evil beings that control an army of undead? I realize there are some major differences between the two in the story and style department, but I'm concerned that if they adapt both of these to houses they might feel a tad too samey.
I really want to avoid preconceptions about the event this year and just focus on enjoying it, but right now this concerns me even more than the (expected) high IP to original ratio.
For TWD I think they will do a lot of areas from season 3 and not Focus heavily on the Prison "they could even do the area Morgan was setting traps for the walkers" and Cabin In The Woods cabin is identical to Evil Dead.. But it had that entire Underground Area.. Im thinking they will do the entire house in that Area, It would be awesome to have the two Technicians from the movie on a projector talking about the underground facility "about how us as guests are the new security detail" I also remember someone saying this could also be the comedic type house this year...

I recently read up on La Llorona and actually look forward to see her in a house even tho Hollywood has already done it "twice" But I would Hate to see her as a Icon... I could easily see them do a Fat Scary looking crazy Warden Running a messed up prison as the main Icon... and I HOPE they bring back the SZ's but if they didn't they could turn the park into a Prison.... Again I hope we get our SZ's like we have speculated

Not sure if it has been brought up but do you think we will get an Icon this year and if so do you think it will be some kind of Escaped Prisoner or even The Warden? This would be nice if they did that and fit the Prison house as the main Icon house

I searched "phone dont sing they ring" in google and found something interesting... it could be nothing but the connections I found was worth posting.. Strange Little Girl by the Stranglers is a song and in it they mention "Late one night the telephone will sing" yeah I know you thinking that's nothing so I continued to read only to find out that the music video was about a Wolf chasing the girl... and where did this take place you might ask.. the UK.... Like I said could be nothing at all

Alluding to having more than 8 houses? Idk. Need to think this through, but obviously the numbers one through nine are being spelled out phonetically, the way police and other professionals who communicate numbers via radio transmitters say numbers. Again, this might be an R.I.P.D. reference.
It has to be just Military Im a cop and never use this Phonetic number system

The Website has a more detailed description of the roamers on it... Vampires, Prisoners (CDT), Beasts, Ghosts/Goblins, Warriors, and Walkers.... TWD zombies? I think so... no trick or treaters?

No but thanks for asking buddy.. and yeah they represented an Icon of there time thanks for repeating! I was just making a connection on how there are 6 ppl in the pic and we have 6 original Icons.. So maybe the Classic Monster house is a Classic Icon type house... We wont see any of them on tv but they will be at the event in this house type of thing?

But isn't this unaccounted show set to be in BJ theater? Wouldn't be much of an opening ceremony show if you had to go to the complete opposite suite of the park before you can see it. Just a thought.

not an Opening Ceremony, but an Icon type show would be amazing... and the BJ area would be a cool spot for it

The True Grits bit was funny, but definitely not the highlight of last year's show... That would belong to the Twilight Sucks song, Osama, and Conan and Nicki Minaj. Overall I thought the jokes were better than 2010's and I have faith with the show in new hands. (Not saying Aiello's version was bad, don't get me wrong..)
I saw the Campaign last week and I can see that being used as part of what is probably the inevitable election jokes. What I haven't seen mentioned too often was the Dictator. The character is very Bill & Ted-friendly and his incident with Seacrest was viral enough that it could be used.
This year was once again kind of slow in terms of pop culture, which sucks because that's not the writer''s fault. All's I know is that when I'm standing outside Fear Factor and I hear "IT'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIME!" my underpants will be drenched due to excitement (if they haven't been soiled already).
I have the Dictator on my list of must see Villians this year.. and I think thay have a lot of diff/ great movies to choose from... lets hope for the best

BJ show... any possibility Death Drums will do it there instead of being infront of Mels? And if its not a magic show what do you think they will put in there... Rocky Horror? like I said before Sweeny Todd would be cool or an Icon show in there would be cool as well... "If we get an Icon the show could be like a history lesson on the Icon"

I know this is off topic but I really need this answered so I can request off of work and I didnt know where else on here to ask it but does anyone know when the Employee Preview is.. my friend is getting me some tickets to go and she has no idea when it is... I was thinking the Wed before the first friday but I could be wrong...

This "beast" role is also part of the 8 SZ codes we got last month. It is "BY" (Buttercup Yellow).

Alright so SZ confirmations are happening... so far we have 3 SZ's confirmed from our "speculation"..
Prisoners - MIB area
Dragon Warriors - San Francisco
Zombies - NY
However... we have a new twist. It seems we have a new SZ scareactor role. You might be asking how is it "new"?.. well it isn't part of the zombie-Klown-prisoner-dragon warrior-ghost-vampire-chainsaw-Trick r treater SZs we had in the line-up. This new role is "Beast" and from what I was told, there are 36 of them cast, which means there are only 18 per cast. Which is 2 less than the other SZs. This is where it gets interesting, this new role is also located in NY. What does this mean? I'd say once again we have two separate SZs in NY- one scareactor group in front of Macys, the other scareactor group in Sting Alley.
Thoughts?
Could the role Beast be talking about the Dragons? I guess 18 dragons per cast would be a bit much... maybe we will see werewolfs

What if they do have an Icon and they stareted to do an Icon Type show in the BJ spot... think that would bring in the people?
The dummy/doll has to be related to the Victorian house, no doubt. I just wonder if there will be any recognizable tie-in to it. "Legendary truth" is the obvious choice, "American horror story" is a possibility, and "the woman in black" is kind of a remote chance. Of course it could be entirely fresh, maybe it actually takes place during the Victorian era and involves the occult.
If the Vortex is in this house then it probably sends us back to the Victorian era... I say probably but really mean hopefully lol

If they did do one more what would you like to see? I have always wanted a Halloween House... I know HHNH had one... but even more than seeing Michael in his own house I would like to see something different.. an Aliens house would be awesome! Have Aliens, facehuggers, crazy little Newt... What Evil Has Taken Root? Obviously the event is going with a dark forest type theme... which is a lot better than a graveyard... I look forward to see what they do with it... I hope they turn New York Area into Raccoon City especially since the city is just on the outskirts of the forest... All the houses also involve a forest... I know TWD had plenty of Forest scenes (IDK about Havok)
Pure Speculation- Icon
What if the Icon is a member of Legendary Truth? Hear me out before you shoot me down.. What if the person in the video went out to investigate the Evil Woods and was him/herself killed/possessed and turned into whatever we face this year. This is probably more wishful thinking, I just think watching videos up until we see the Icon would be awesome.. Witness the creation of the Icon..
