  1. Okay Haunt fan, basically techno is more similar to a traditional rock song, with steady beats, pitchy highs and bassy lows, just with computers.

Dub step is the 21st century Michael Bay remake of old dial-up modem noises. Hard to figure beats and very bassy, with less highs. Easy to dance to, as there is no beat so no one can say you're doing it wrong.

Google Skrillex, as he's basically king of the dubs now.

  2. Breaking news from twitter 6 hours ago

disnyrthanthou: ...but still have to wait and see what Quigley/JP queue maze is

Murdy: @disneyrthanthou Oh that? That's Friday the 13th. You've seen that before

So either Murdy just revealed on twitter the next maze, or he's fooling around with him.

Facebook and the official website show nothing, so I would say fooling. Plus there has to be a dozen kids asking and bitching at him about it, so I would figure he would've made an official comment on it now. But with Murdy, you can't be sure.

    I hope he's joking.

  3. Is it just me, but when Murdy said 'like a Child's Nightmare', did anyone else think German Expessionism.

La Lorona: La Childreninos le Hunted (Now 20% German!)

But seriously, does anyone think they'll do some trickery like take the windows, stretch them like silly putty, and hang them high above the people walking through? Cause I would think expressionism like that gives a surreal perspective, especially like that of a child. That, and put in some wooden painted skulls to make it '¡Mexico!'.

  4. Has anyone played Pyschonauts? the Black Velvetopia stage is what I think a UV 3D maze should look like. Im hoping we get some of that aesthetic.

I freaking love that game. Sixth best environment of the game. Love it. (No sarcasm)(Seriously none)

But at a local haunt they did something very similar. And when I mean they, I mean the rent-a-maze company they got five of the six mazes from (all of them the same layout), the one outlier being a self-made maze they did themselves. It was a cheap rip-off of Psycoscarapy, but it was made with love so it didn't matter. All that rambling aside, the rent-a-maze did something similar. It was a cromadepth red-yellow-other-bright-colours-on-black maze sorta similar to Velvetopia, where every scene was detailed and painted onto a wall. But as cool as it was, the 3D worked against itself, as the detail took a bit to take in, and they practically pushed you through. Thus, you rushed you through a maze that had cool colours but you had no idea what just went on. I imagine Universal could do it better, but I'm not sure the effort put in would be worth the trouble, especially when they still have to figure out how to fix the House of Horrors.

  5. Hey there, I'm planing to make it to HHN this year, and I'm planing to do so on a budget. So far I've found cheap lodging and tickets over there, and now I'm just trying to find out how I'll get there. So far, I've found nothing online that suggests there will be late night shuttle services to hotels after the park closes for the day, so I'm looking to the veterans for the answers. Will there be Shuttles? Will our brave adventurer have to risk life and limb on the rail and busses against local hoodlums, punks, and bums? Or will the risk be too great, and he'll have to pay an expensive taxi ride? Tune in to find out!
