Okay....Doctor, Doctor, help me PLEASE, I gotta bad case of lo- oops, didn't mean to break out in song
But seriously, help us out here Jimmy, just a bit! Does the Lacrosse you're mentioning and the 'games' Legacy keep mentioning correlate with one another?
-
SO I checked out the construction of the walking dead and they blocked off with black tarp the view we had of the barn door! But from what I see it would seem that they will have part of the house outside and around some of the movie props! It would be cool if they did that but highly unlikely!! I'm going to check out p&t and Alice next
...you're like a few months late and a few hundred dollars short...not to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt from guest view, you're going to uncover anything that hasn't already been covered all throughout these forums...
-
P&T looks the same, so does Walking Dead. The facade is to die for.
This just further confirms my suspicion of what I believe the facade is going to be...especially based on what I've seen...

You don't have to hmmmmm and with these other "hints" I'm starting to wonder if something 'sport' related is involved as well....is that shooting to much in the dark? I figure with the hint of games so much, I might not be TOO far off...hmmm....are we looking to possibly see the games from the website (if and when they do occur) crossover directly into the park in some way shape or form?

Will LT have something to do with our scare zones?
-
I'm thinking based off all the things I've seen Legacy post and his reference back to Dr. Jimmy's post....something involving "games" is going on this year...hmmmm where do we start the speculation on this though?

I may be reading way too far into this, but the way you parenthesized daytime gave me an idea, as I thought it was odd for you to specify it in that way. My reason for saying this is that if you were to say simply "parade", most of us would have assumed the daytime one without hesitation. Also, if you had left it out of the parentheses, it would have left the same impression. I get the feeling that you meant to emphasize this word for a reason. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but this gave me an idea for one of two things.
1. Either we will see a return of the Festival of the Dead parade.
OR
2. The "zones" we have been given clues to will in fact be completely roaming, but in a way which could be considered "out of the box". What I mean to say is that each of the "zones" will follow a path around the park, much in the way a parade makes a trip around a park. Perhaps they could be combined with floats, although I find this unlikely, or simply scare actors. Either way, it would be set up so that you could sit in one area in the park and see all eight "zones" pass you by. This will allow for each of the "zones" to truly roam around the park without worrying about them colliding, although I would love to see clowns fighting vampires.
Any ideas on this? Or am I chasing something that isn't there?
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking about...especially with the "mobile" hint given a few pages back

Or, simply make it the outside of the hospital where he escapes and sees all the dead bodies on the floor.
Call it a hunch but I think you may or may not be getting your wish with this one

We can still get games...
I think...I could be wrong...but I think you're implying...possibly...that we could still get games? Maybe?

Yeah, I think I'm getting my movie release dates mixed up haha that and I know me and my girlfriend didn't go to see it until the event was over...There is a difference.... The THING house was a UNIVERSAL film and was actually promoting the new movie. And most everyone has seen the 1982 film, so they had a general idea of what was going to happen in the prequel. The movie was released during the 3rd weekend of the event. Thats not "well after". You're probably thinking of 2009's "Wolfman" which was supposed to come out BEFORE the event, but then got pushed back to February, which was "well after" the event.
-
Not that I disagree with you, Wesker, but if that was the case then last year's The Thing house shouldn't have existed considering the movie didn't come out until well after the event...
-
^ I could have sworn, if anything, the main focus was on Wolfman. Considering it was coming out in theaters that following month....

Thanks Legacy! Sounds kind of intense! Hopefully they'll be able to bring something like this to the parks in the near future...with HOS having their own "extreme" house, hopefully USF will jump on board here soon with something of their own, maybe possibly even bring this very house to fruition
-
Would LOVE to hear more about tho house! Sounds intriguing!
-
^ Yeah, I figured as such...one can only hope though I figure if not directly attributed to LT, we'll still get something similar to the ideas that were presented in 2010. Who knows, perhaps 2010 was a trial for a 'haunted house'/'paranormal activity' style house. I didn't have a chance to venture though that house but from what I heard was that it was very hit or miss and the scares relied too much on perfect timing. Perhaps their trying this sort of house again and have since worked out the problems that LT had in an attempt to bring us an AMAZING house this year!
-
I just realized that i got off topic. So minus a scream house repeat...which is unlikely, what does everyone think that this could be?
I'm assuming something similar to or a continuation of Legendary Truth from 2010...that was the first thing that came to mind when I heard that's what we were getting...
-
What exactly is going there in the left part of the first picture?! I'm intrigued haha
-
I've actually seen that website before and I absolutely LOVE it....that's very similar to what I'm looking for but I need something with some detail to it, ya know? Thank you for at least trying to help though!

I wouldn't really count on it, sure we will get a good facade, but not special
I don't knowwwwww...I may or may not have had a look at the facade (at least the little bit that's there) just recently...I don't think we'll be disappointed....

I never once said more money but simply implied that more EFFORT would be put into the event in one way or another. Being down a house, I can only assume, opens up more opportunity for A&D to put a little more time into other areas of the park. I'd retract that idea if it wasn't for the sheer fact that our tent house facades appear to be much better than last years. Be it a direct cause of being down a house or not, I think it's perfectly acceptable for me to assume and wish that. I really don't think it's hurting anyone for me to have that opinion...honestly...
-
I'd say no considering they're painted neon orange now...maybe that's been done since those last pictures were taken...
-
I'm actually here at the park now, from the looks of it there appears to be the "Welcome to Vegas" sign but it's low on the ground, maybe to look like it fell down? Then there appears to be bright orange barrels stacked about 20 ft high creating a wall...the pathway into the house appears to be between the sign and the barrels...from this angel though, that's all I can really see...

Was simply just voicing an opinion. I'm simply saying that last years were simple and maybe we'll see something more on the elaborate side this year. It appears we already are. I know we've had nice facades in the past, I was just referring to last years'. We haven't had 7 houses in a while though is my point, who's to say that because of that, we might not see a little more effort put into other areas. We had nice facades with 8 houses, so surely we can have nice facades as well with 7..whether it's a direct result of one less house or not....that's all I'm saying...
