  1. Oh I'm sure! To be honest though, me and girlfriend never used those paths last year. We loved '7' so we tried to walk through there as much as possible and always opted for the long way because of that. More so, we even take that path in the park on regular days....just to reminisce about our first HHN together and how much we loved that scarezone /end mushy rant haha so it's nothing out of the ordinary of what I do at the parks regularly anyway, ya know?

Regardless, I'm not too worried about it. In fact I always follow a perfect circle in starting with what is now HoH and ending with what is now Silent Hill. So the only times this will become a problem is when we want to repeat houses out of order. But like I said, not worried....that's on the bottom of my list of things to worry about haha

  2. Alright, I filled in the streets that were blocked off last night to give those of you who were not there an idea of what we're all talking about.

Thank you Wesker. That definitely makes more sense. People had it sounding like there was no chance of going 'full circle' if that makes any sense. In this case, I honestly don't see what the big deal is...sure it's slightly inconvenient but I don't think it's something that really should make or break the event. In the end, we all get in better shape from the walk...get's you nice and warmed up to run from any scareactors too....win, win :P

  3. I haven't missed a house sense 07' with my technique.. Staying in the Stay & scream area after regualr park hours.. Hitting the early opening houses, Then getting the last tent house. then following with the jaws house & so on... But this year, considering there is no Jaws house.. I may do the early opening houses, then circle the opposite direction & hit Silent hill next... having no wait for the first 2-3 houses almost gurantee you get in all 7

    EDIT: Without Express BTW.

I agree, this has probably been the best way to do it! I was thinking of doing the same thing this year though with the lack of a Jaws house...

  4. Does anyone get this hunch that they may have used the same layout and walls from Forsaken last year with a "House of Horrors" overhaul in a sense? I only say this because something about that organ room looks similar to the walls used from Forsaken. This could just be me jumping to conclusions though haha

  5. The facade covers more area than past facades.

If you're including the truck and the trailer with the dead bodies, yes it covers a bit more area. But there's really only one extra wall than what's been there in years past but it doesn't really protrude out much farther than walls from years past. I'd say it's about the same size as the Zombiegeddon facade maybe just slightly bigger. But I wouldn't say it's significant enough to really be considered much larger than years past. Just my take on the facade haha :P

  6. Wait a second, wait a second! Wasn't one of the clues about "He comes home?" The theme from Sweet 16 was "Horror comes home" and the icon was Darkness. This phone call sounds like Darkness.....is there some sort of connection here or am I also grasping at straws?

  7. I seriously hope it's not all zombies, but I feel bad hoping for anything since this will be my first year and I should really remain open... :/

You can't complain if you've never gone to an event before. Go. Have an open mind. Have fun. Expect the unexpected.

Trust me, you'll have more fun this way.

BTW, this is my 100th post! I'd like to take this time to thank everyone here at HNN who has made this milestone possible for me! Without you...while I probably wouldn't be much different :P But thanks for all the laughs and smiles these last 100 posts everyone! :P

  8. To set the record straight, from what I'm hearing, the house is supposed to be like one of those classic old broken down rickety houses that sits on top of a hill in which many kids play the "I dare you to go in there" game. Victorian or not, I think that's the theme that's being represented here :) I don't care about the era as much as I do about the way that this house is sounding like it's going to be. It sounds like it's going to be awesome. I think it's Universal's way of making up for the fact that LT in 2010 wasn't that great...
