Hey guy. I'm goin to horror nights Saturday night with fol. I love filming on my phone at horror nights, but I've never filmed in a maze. Can some one remind me what their video policy is. I'm assuming it's just no flash photography since I've seen so many walkthroughs.

How was the movie overall
It was a little disappointing, defiantly not as good as Sinister. I thought it relied a little to much on jump scares and was a bit slow at times, but there where some truly creepy moments, I think it's still worth a watch.
Oh, and its being distributed by Sony and Open Road, so I'm sure it won't be there.

I went to an advanced screening of Deliver US From Evil tonight and I think that there is some maze material. Some cool environments and scares.
-
So as far as maze locations, is Evil Dead the only one we know for sure?
-
This scene is all I care about.
If i see Darth maul looking at me through a window like that..... i will poop my pants.
This better happen.

Since everyone is pretty sure Rock Icon is Insidious, is there anyone else that isn't excited for Insidious to he a maze? I watched it for the first time last week and I don't know if there is enough there to be made into a good maze. Plus I disliked the movie in general.
Insidious chapter 2 comes out next month. I'm sure when they do insidious they'll have shit from both movies. From just watching the trailer, it looks like that could be a lot of material.

I think we can all agree this maze has potential to pretty rad! I'm just not diggin the whole 3d thing. In the goes to hell maze it really took me out of the whole experience. Same with hotc. I find just distracting more than anything else. Hopefully they can really nail it with this one! What exactly did murdy say about having a 3d screen in this maze?

If its going to be music themed, I would rather it be Alice. Welcome to my nightmare was an awesome house. Although i would still rather not have any music themed houses. But if Ozzy gets a maze, I will burn universal to the ground.

I just hope that there are no 3D mazes this year.

I posted on the "introduce yourself" board, but I'm betting not many people visit that one often, so...
Hi everyone! I'm Jill!
I've been lurking and reading everyone's comments (excellent info, btw, ty so very much!) in anticipation of my (and my daughter's) first ever visit to HHN this coming Sunday night (10/21).
I'm so glad you guys discussing Sunday traffic, because I too spent last night staring at the wait times screen and tried to figure an attack plan for our visit. But even armed with all the great info I've read here, I'm still kind of out of my element. Like I said, I've never been to HHN, and only been to Universal once,... and that was about 20 years ago! lol
In our situation, we would probably want to do the rides, but first priority is the Silent Hill house (one of the main reasons we're making the trek all the way from Sacramento .
I went ahead and bought FOL passes for us, so I don't think we'll have any problem seeing everything. I just want to maximize our time there to get the most from the experience.
I saw on the meet up board that a number of others are also going Sunday - maybe we could just tail one of you guys that know your way around!
As a fellow member from Sacramento, let me tel you the trek is worth it! I bought fol as well and went on friday. We managed to get everything done before 12! The fol pass is definatly worth it, no stress at all!

I never got to experience back in business so im pretty excited for this one. I'm a fan of the original film, i think this has potential but im sure it wont be as good as back in business. At least thats what it sounds like. haha

New vido posted by the hhn facebook. Looks good!
-
No, the link still doesnt work. It was probably around 80 to $90
-
was it $109 every night or did it fluctuate each night
It fluctuated every weekend or so. $109 was the weekend of october 12, the most expensive weekend.
-
where did you guys see that the HHNH FOL's are $109?
A link was posted in the speculation thread. For some reason it doesnt work anymore though. Maybe they'll change the ticket prices a little bit hahaha
-
Exactly. Im only going for one night since i don't live in LA. Thats what i did last year and i was able to space it out through the entire night. Hopefully i will be able to afford one this year! But I think Front of the Line for one night is good if your only going one night. That way you can accomplish everything in 1 night and be done with it.
-
$109 for front of the line?! Are you kidding me! Last year they were like 70! Not to mention that the 8 day pass they just offerd was only 99

I head john wants to make this one dubstepped themed too.
