I can't wait for the grocery store with the rain of walkers and helicopter scene. Also the cave in in the tunnel with the wall of walkers.
-
Yea it's literally been the only theme that works with all the environments throughout TT (Except whoville), Unlike everything else splitting up with sub-themes. So to step it up we need "Who Walkers" and Grinch Walker! Lol.

I'm split on this one. Part of me is just sick and tired of zombies for the Terror Tram and I was really hoping for the Purge or even a new original concept. The other part of me is willing to see how it goes. I thought last year's TT was one of its best years, so I'm hoping they step it up and make it the best TT ever.
-
So in one tweet Murdy says we will not experience anything we did last year, but from that article sounds like we are getting the same Terror Tram and Scarezone. Granted the maze will have a different layout and new scenery based on season 4, so I can see that as being a new experience.
-
Could just be the slogan for the overall theme this year. Like a General nightmare theme. Wasn't last year's What evil has taken root? Which wasn't specific for a maze, but for the overall event.
-
So the possible line-up is The Purge(Terror Tram), TWD, AWIL, Dracula, Halloween, Exorcist, and an original maze. Actually seems like an awesome roster. Is it sad that out of all of those I would be the least excited for Walking Dead part 3?

-
So we're looking at Purge(Maze, Terror Tram, or both), AWIL, TWD, and forgot about Dracula: Untold which seems like the best fit for HoH. I know Halloween and Exorcist have been thrown around. Do either match up with any code names so far?
-
Murdy said he wouldn't use 2 similar themes at the event. So no 2 zombie mazes. He even cut CITW over Evil Dead cause he didn't want 2 mazes with cabin settings. Purge already got a scarezone last year and that was with only 1 movie out.
-
Then by Murdys rules if we get TWD again then no Resident Evil or AHS, since that's what happened last year.
-
Ok cool so we have Purge, AWIL, TWD or Resident Evil so far as major possibilities. Is AHS still in the air if we don't get TWD?
-
Got ya. So where does all the themes for this year stand as of now? Purge seems like 99% it's gonna be at the event. Walking Dead probably at 50%. Is AWIL a strong assumption or wishful thinking?
-
What do you guys think of a possible Eli Roth's Green Inferno scarezone? Could work on the lower lot with the Jurassic park foliage and mummy temple.
-
Same here voted for corps. I just need to know what is so scary about mask a raid? I think any scarer wearing those big white wigs is just humorous and won't be taken seriously. I mean I get it, Its a cool different concept, but aren't people suppose to vote for something scary?

Halloween Horror Nights 2014: Samhain
Icon: Sam (from Trick r Treat)
Sams name originates from Samhain, the orgins of Halloween itself. He looks like a child dressed in a Halloween costume, which consists of an orange set of pajamas, and a mask made of a burlap sack with buttons for eyes. Despite his childlike appearance, Sam has a demonic appearance, hiding a pumpkin-shaped head resembling a skull. Sam visits towns on Halloween to enforce the rules of the holiday and punish those who ignore and defy them. This year Sam has decided to visit Universal Studios Hollywood during Halloween Horror Nights. As enforcer of the rules of the rituals of Halloween, Sam takes it upon himself to punish those who break tradition. Unfortunately he can't do it alone so he has brought in some help to enforce the traditions. Will you survive the night or break the rules? Just remeber Sam is always watching.

Ok awesome. I already have my event done.
-
Holy crap this competition is awesome. How do I get in on this?
-
I don't know how to set up the spoiler thing on my phone sowe will know this time next week but since it's the season finally and they arrived there the end of the episode before I would assume something has to happen.
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!
If the show still is following within the footsteps of the comics. Terminus should be the home to a group in the comics known as the hunters. The hunters is a group that goes around that hunts down groups of survivors and eats them. I believe terminus is a way to just bring people to them instead. I could be wrong, but just seems fitting to have it be a place worst than Woodbury.

Went through this maze twice and was very disappointed in it. Kept thinking there was gonna be more walkers trying to eat me. Overall the look and feel of this maze was definitely incredible. It just really needed more scares and better placed scares. Still trying to figure out why the room with the ringing phone was so big and the scare was around the corner. Should've used the ringing phone for misdirection unless i wasn't getting the scare. Cell block c needed some roamers IMO along with the tombs. The finale didn't bother me just seemed like they were recreating the finale from last year, but instead of burlap hanging pigs. Obviously it was a good maze, but not a great one.

Completely agree with you kursed.

Which brings up why the Fast and furious franchise is still a juggernaut even after the 6th film because of all the nationalities that are played in those films. Maybe that's why it isn't a bad idea that murdy and universal begins to tap into other cultures for horror ideas for mazes.
Does all of this talk mean we're gonna get Leprechaun in the hood?

Least to most
UMR- I know it's not gonna be scary so not looking forward to it all.
TT- Having it be TWD helps it a lot, but it's still the same stuff since I've been going back in 07.
13:3D- would've been stoked for this if the 3D aspect was taken out. 3D mazes always just kill the scary atmosphere to me, but really hope I'm proven wrong and this maze kicks ass.
El Cucuy- I thought La Llorona was terrifying so very interested in seeing how this maze plays out.
Insidious- I'm a fan of the first movie can't wait for chapter 2. I think this maze will be high on the creepy factor and just really looking forward to it.
TWD- Loved it last. I feel like season 3 was made to be a maze with the prison hallways. Also I think the outside atmosphere with the walkers roaming all around is gonna get you absorbed into that world.
ED- Thought the movie was scary and now gonna see it all in person. Murdy wants to go all out on this one so I feel the cast will as well. Really looking forward to some blood rain and possibly shitting my pants. Already called dibs on going up front for this maze.
-
This is gonna be awesome. I feel like this is the TT we wanted for TWD, but even better.

I thought that comment was toward the governors man cave.

Cool. I actually think this was the best scarezone last year. I'm hoping they extend it a little and have it also in that hub so it can be more of a zone than a walkthrough area.
