My guessing abilities are going down... But for Quigley's, could someone give the list of possibilities again? And no codenames or hints for TT or HoH, right?
Quigley seems to be bouncing back between TCM or Poltergeist, and correct. No codenames for TT or HoH. It should be interesting to see the general public's reaction to what Quigley is, especially if it's TCM. (Will they go ga-ga over it since people are still clamoring for the likes of Freddy/Jason etc? Or will they be irked once again due to a repeat theme?)

Hmm, I took a look around Variety (Their site, twitter, FB) and I didn't see that article anywhere. However I won't call shenanigans since 1. I don't think DTH would joke about this (Feel free to correct me on that, DTH.) and 2. This could be a case where the article was pulled. (Granted, there was no pulling of BD's article announcing TWD and Silent Hill. Or Alice Cooper's livechat where he spilled the beans.)
None the less, if this turns out to be true...I'm guessing this is The Smiths. (Lady Gaga was on the survey last year, and for all we know there could be children in the maze, and some kind of character inspired by something Dick Smith created.)

Where did you see they're getting the overlay? Wasn't that the whole "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme at Disney?
He was just referring the NBC overlay since they close the Haunted Mansion for a prolonged period of time to put the overlay in, which is the same method the HoH is finally doing for whatever overlay they're getting. Besides music, we have no idea what the overlay for HoH will be.

Since Silent Hill isn't Dante anymore, are we considering it to be original or movie based?
Hard to say, Dante is based off a existing artistic creation...which can range from a movie, game, tv show, book, album etc. I think we're leaning towards a orginal creation, though it could honestly go either way.

^ To add to that, John Carpenter directed "The Fog", and one of the worlds in Silent Hill is "Fog World".

^ Not to mention HHN Orlando has had multiple occasions where a maze was inspired by a movie. (05's Demon Cantina was inspired by "From Dusk Til' Dawn", 08's Intersteller Terror was inspired by "Event Horizon".)
I also recall that when they had the first All Night DrIvE In house in 03', they didn't have the rights for the characters as well, so Freddy, Jason, Leatherface had to be mentioned as Nightmare Man, Chainsaw dude etc.
Though most recently (and more fitting for this situation) for 09's Silver Screams house, while they didn't have the rights for Evil Dead/Army of Darkness...they sure did have a Army of Darkness room in the house. (I believe they called it "Midevil Dead" or something like that.)
Either way, even if the rights for TWD fall through, the maze will certainly be chock full of TWD references, it just won't be called that.

With all this speculation on Silent Hill, it did remind me that one of the clues for "Dante" is a scene will have the scent of Cotton Candy. Looking at the picture of Robbie Rabbit holding cotton candy, it certainly does seem to be more plausible.

Looking at videos from last year, what I hope B&T get's is a much better writer/script because I personally felt that was severely lacking. While the dance numbers and a few jokes were good, to me everything else bombed and made a great case on why no pop culture show should ever be 40+ minutes long.
If they can get a much better writer/script, then they'll have no problem with whatever parodies they choose to do.

Bingo.
An' it just hit me with the survey's, as we know WTMN was voted number one. However Murdy mentioned that La Llorona was the only one that HHN fans wanted to return. For me it's totally possible for a maze to be voted #1, yet have a different maze be the one people want to return. That's what happened here, so they brought back both.
