I think this officially makes us have our reveal week next week with Halloween being the last announcement.

My thoughts as of this moment. Tomorrow we get an announcement that will possibly share with Hollywood. Our reveal week is Aug 11-15 with AvP as the final maze announced on both coasts.

I know the media were allowed to film in The Walking Dead last year before opening night. I was part of a special YouTube gathering set up by Universal & The Tim Tracker & we were allowed to film in the mazes but other than that i'm unaware of others getting to. I could be wrong though.

Yeah I could easily see it being Dracula Untold if it's a share, they need to start promoting it as soon as possible.

Hollywood's last announcement is supposed to be at Scare LA on August 10. So i'm guessing that may be AWIL saved for last. The rest of their lineup right now looks to be shared with us so unless Mike Aiello is gonna show up as a surprise at Scare LA i'm guessing this will be Hollywood only. Tonight there very easily could be a reveal, nothing announced yet but its still early. Halloween looked to be the last announcement originally but perhaps that had to change due to the leak. It alongside AvP are the only legitimate possibilities that would fit the final maze announcement & with us sharing AvP with Hollywood I can't see them doing that. So i'm thinking we do get our original clown factory(with the rumored return of Jack in some form one way or another, in the maze itself or a connected scarezone at the exit) & Hollywood announces their original maze this week(which is rumored to have clown involvement in some fashion) so all 3 HHN's could announce clowns at their event one after another. So after this announcement regardless, the rest will save for reveal week with one last major IP announced at the end of the month then the site will go live. Just how I see things at this moment. As always it's subject to change at a moment's notice.

With the wording used, i'm thinking we do have our shared Face Off announcement tonight. Face Off creations would take over Hollywood's House of Horrors & as rumored we would get a nice scarezone located in Hollywood. So two scarezone announcements potentially this week(The Purge announced tomorrow or Thursday to coincide with the release of Anarchy on Friday) will let people know right away TWD won't be all that's in the streets.

OU is speculating that Sting Alley's supposed geisha scarezone may have been scrapped potentially. Who knows if it's true or not but I at least wanted to let people know it's a possibility we might only get 4 zones, maybe a longer Purge zone to make up for it could be in the works. As always take everything with a grain of salt, it could just be more confusion on what people think they know.

If no Dracula, what about something else not speculated at all or something from early spec? Not Ritual either, something else major instead. Still a lot of questions, Dracula or not is now the question. I'm pretty sure DU is still coming but there is always that uncertainty, surely speculation has been fun this year.

I think Conjuring will come once Annabelle & Conjuring 2 are released, maybe to cross promote the second film which comes out October 23 next year. It could be what will be done with the rumored Dracula Untold maze. "Experience The Conjuring & its sequel before it comes to HHN 25." Charlie is an original it appears, not much is known about it other than its a sprung & will be a living doll house. That could mean anything.

Well the other thing that lends credibility to it being in 3D is that they built a warehouse for it, so could it be done so that the light wouldn't get in & 3D would work? Just like was said previously, maybe our "safety goggles" our the 3D glasses. It does make sense if they can pull it off.

There seems to be one last bit of confusion whether Ritual is still coming & Charlie was the one that got scrapped or is it the original idea that Charlie is still set & Ritual is gone. I've heard both as answers, just trying to figure out which one is true. Then again there is the less than 1% possibility that Charlie is The Conjuring & we're sharing it with Hollywood. Could Dracula be the red herring thrown out to everyone to throw us off the track & it was never coming in the first place? Probably not but still something to think about.

Well considering we still have not uncovered the permits for 25(which is already under construction) & 22, I would say anything is still possible until the final reveal.

It's the series, it's promoting the new season starting in October. I'd rather it be the movie but the maze does intrigue me.

Only room for one Boogeyman this year & he's a Captain!

If it's a share, I think its Dracula Untold & they save AvP until next month when the original film came out. Halloween is the most likely answer to our announcement given all the people that saw the start of the facade during DA's grand opening but I still think there might be another slight possibility & we see that video that was filmed supposedly earlier this year announce the return of Jack tying into our steampunk clown factory. I know its a gamble to announce an original first, but if Jack's involved I think it would be doable.

I know 25 doesn't have a permit yet but I didn't mention that because we already know what's going there. Maybe DAVE isn't out until end of the month & they won't start construction until beginning of August. Then again with this being the biggest house in HHN history, maybe the permit is just hidden well & has been out all along. They have to already be building TWD, don't they?

Oh i'm not getting my hopes up, if we were to get more than 8 houses i'd suspect it would be HHN 25 for an anniversary year but then again there is something up their sleeve that we just don't know yet & that anticipation is driving the speculation that maybe we're not getting one or the other, we're getting all three. We won't know anything further until the permit for 22 comes out as it's the only one not released to the public yet as in they have not started construction which means that Ritual will be Altared & Crows will stay in Parade. So much to think about though, what if it's actually something else that we don't know about? I think that is highly unlikely & we already know our lineup but again who knows what is being hidden until the actual reveal in August.

I'm all for 9 houses but after all of this, I want The Exorcist as the last surprise maze.

I've speculated Charlie would be The Conjuring if it were an IP & not original since its already rumored its coming to Hollywood, we could easily share it. Annabelle just got pushed up to October 3 which plays pretty well with the opening few weeks of HHN so that's something to think about. But the wording on OU was very specific, someone posted the list that we've speculated to be the lineup & when "Crows" was brought up it had question marks to what the house actually was & the response was to remove the question marks & add another set of pointed teeth. 5/3 That wording tells me From Dusk Till Dawn is your on again off again on again house replacing Crows in the Parade Building which was my original spec all along when we heard it might be coming. That way the facade they'd probably use would be hidden well enough to not be as offensive it could be to people who think it could be in bad taste. Again more questions arise.

I keep hearing on OU that it may actually still be 5/3 IP/Original this year. Could FDTD be back on the table or is one of our originals really an IP? Just wondering.

My thoughts on this, Hollywood does announce AWIL either Thursday or Friday on their coast & our next announcement is the return of Jack The Clown being involved with the Steampunk Clown Factory we've been speculating about. Sure its an original but Jack is a fan favorite of a lot of people who year after year would like to see him brought back & some of us have seen the on set pics already posted of a new Jack video that was filmed for an announcement supposedly for the maze in question or just to promote the event in general. Then again if they do any marketing with Jack, I do see him physically being in the park not just a static figure above our heads. Sure its a gamble but it would "make it up to the diehards" about TWD returning. You can have some aces left up your sleeve(AvP & Halloween) & still make The Purge scarezone announcement next Thursday or Friday on this coast to coincide with the release of Anarchy. Of course if it's a share we're getting, signs point to the announcement being Dracula Untold to co-promote the maze since other than a slight teaser trailer & a lot of speculation, not very much is known about it at all. Just an idea though.

Depending on how the queue works for TWD, we could be walking through a nice little mini scarezone on the way to the maze while we're in line. I don't know if that could work logistically but it's just a thought I had to break up the long queue monotony.

I think they might announce The Purge to tie into Anarchy's release on July 18. Untold's trailer just was released so it would make sense to announce it to bring awareness to the maze since not much if anything is known about the film. AVP could be the next coast to coast reveal as I could see it being a big deal to "make it up to the people mad about TWD returning" I wonder if Sanaa Lathan & Paul W.S. Anderson will be involved with the video or if they go old school with their Alien & Sigourney Weaver did end up filming that video after all when she was in town for Candlelight last December.

Hmm I thought Charlie was going in the sprung.
