  1. Penn was suppose to talk about HHN during his 082612 Sunday School podcast. Ran out of time and never got to it. So I wondering if he really had anything of importance that UNI would allow him to say. He did mention not getting to it and that it would be covered on the 090212 show. We'll see.

  2. Layed out properly, they could pull it off. I wouldn't mind something like this.

That is much better than the small samples I listened to. Thanks Grime.

Thats what people say about specific house themes... and event themes in general... until they see it executed and realize "wow. i can't believe they made that into something truly terrifying" or "that was awesome".

My opinion will certainly be changed if they can execute to my tastes. :)

IDK it sure sounds like our house we've been hearing about for a while. Maybe they will be slightly different.

Music is music. I'm sure appropriate horror step would be fine. The carnage house was full of straight on rock. Blade was full of techno music. Dubstep is the new thing. I like a few dubstep songs... mostly horror step... I think the deep base fits the horror genre well. (

) Essentially horror song remixes in the dubstep I listen a lot lately.

A house with loud jarring beats that sync up with strobing black light would definitely put me off of my center and set me up for startles.

Thanks JW. The first example didn't do much for me. The second was better but not as good as the sample Grime posted. That I could deal with.

I for certain will not boycott the parade building because of music. I hope I am proved wrong and end up really liking it. Most of what is known about 22 I'm excited for. I think it's a bit much that everything would be to my tastes. If it works for most but doesn't work for me that isn't a bad thing overall.

  3. I'm old so I had no clue what dubstep was. Jumped over to last.fm and listened to some. I'm sorry but this stuff has no place in a horror themed maze. Especially a classic monsters one if that is what Orlando is truly getting. Give me gothic pipe organ and plenty of it. Yes my mind is closed on this one. ;)

  4. Next Sunday(Meaning the 19th) at 3pm eastern time tune into Penn's sunday school at pennsundayschool.com...he said, at the end of yesterday's show, that he was going to try to get the okay from UNI to talk about the house, IN DETAIL. Great show anyway, but a few more listeners couldn't hurt. So...if you like spoilers tune in Sunday the 19th and hear it straight from the horses mouth. No guarantees because UNI must approve.

Thanks for the info. I just started listening to the podcast but have not caught up to the newer episodes. Really funny stuff. Even if he just talks in general about the event and when they got involved that would be great. It's Monkey Tuesday! :)

  5. It's interesting he is very opposed to Alcohol and will walk away from a dinner with people if they order wine.. so a house full of drunks is an interesting situation <_<

    Hollywood decision-making + Penn = Dry Event? ;)

"Walk away from dinner". Maybe this is something in the past or entirely new. I was just listening to one of Penn's Sunday School podcasts where he states he has alcohol in his house for friends. He has no issues with other people drinking, He just personally never drank or did drugs.

Very doubtful he would impose alcohol bans or limitations to Uni for HHN.

  6. If they had to go with comics I'd much rather see Joe Rogan host the event. At least he'd have the help of magic mushrooms and bloody UFC fights to help him design a house. Who's next Carrot Top? Ok, ok so I'm getting away from my positive view but I think you guys and gals get what I'm trying to say. I don't like our horror event being hosted by comedians but I'm going to give it a shot anyway because I'm a sucker for HHN and spending the event with my friends.

    Now that's some scary _ _ _ _ right there. :)

I'm going to remain positive about P&T. If done right it will be really good.
