1. Blizzard: With 21 being my first year this is new territory for me. Cannot wait to see the BC for the 1st time.
2. Anniversary House: It's all new to me and this one has me jazzed. All NEW TO ME.
3. AWIL: Missed 23 so this is right near the top of my list. One of my fave horror classics.
4. Run: Excited to think how this will work. Again - another NEW TO ME.
5. Freddy vs Jason: Old school and I'm looking forward to it. Could end up being the best house but not my most anticipated.
6. Alice: Somehow this feels like this years DOLLHOUSE! Should surprise.
7. Insidious: Paranormal not my favorite stuff but I did watch the first two films to prepare for the house.
8. The Purge: No real expectations for this.
9. The Walking Dead: Really can't justify any other placement. Hope I get something out of it.

Is there a way to block individual persons on this forum? That would be a good tool to implement to cut down down on the negativity and complaining. At least so you dont have to personally see it.
There is an ignore function you can access under Settings if you choose to use it.

Hey Orlando peeps, I'll be visiting your lovely event on the first weekend of October so I want to do HHN on Thu, Fri, & Sat. and discovered that it'll be much cheaper if I purchase the Rush of Fear pass. So my question to you is, do I have to use it the first date it's listed or could I not use it until I want to which would be Oct. 1st?
You can use it starting Oct 1 when you arrive. Last use is Sunday Oct 4. Enjoy!

They are saying it's only the first movie which is basically all interior house settings, but I'm hoping they do transitions where you go "outside" between different buildings.
Also, I think a great finale would be for Michael Myers to jump out of a closet and startle you, then Dr. Loomis comes around the corner from the other side and uses that gun effect we see every year with you in the middle of it all... and Michael stumbles backward out a window. This would require the scareactor to fall back onto a mat out of view and some convincing sound effects.

I was just going through another thread and I see people referring to getting in at 6pm and heading straight toward the parade/tent houses. Am I crazy here? Did I coincidentally just go on days that were weird or something? The two times I've done early entry at 6pm it's been exactly the same: some studio houses open, some not till 6:30, barricade over by where hershel's barn was with team members checking wristbands before removing it at 6:30...
Also, do they ever put barricades in other areas, like maybe near where the other holding area is? I've never tried going that way before.
I guess I'm just looking for a concrete answer about how this whole barricade thing works and if it's a new thing or if they only do it some nights or something? I usually go end of September on a non-peak night so maybe that has something to do with it? I've literally never heard one other person mention these barricades and people seem to have no idea what I'm talking about but I know they were there because I got turned away!
Not sure about barricades or if they used them last year, when I went to 21 and 22 our strategy was Hollywood Blvd to the tents and parade. Did not do S&S but we were right at the front of the gates when they let people in.
We'll be doing S&S this year but no express. I'll be looking for a touring plan soon.

This house, as a type this on my phone, is being painted. When i get home i'll post pics of workers working on the facade. We are having this house no doubt about it also its being painted tan/whitish so that means it's the origonal myers house from the first movie. Ill post the pictures in the construction thread in a hour or two.

I'm not local but this is getting a bit interesting. I've seen no recent facade pics posted so who's to say something has not changed. And it's not that far a stretch to believe the whole website leak was a hoax. I want to see Halloween be the 8th house bad but would not be shocked to see something totally different revealed. I guess we just wait.

I'm going to be staying at Cabana Bay Oct 1 through 5th. Some parks during the day and HHN (for me anyway) Thu through Sun for four nights. Looks like the best value I see is the MouseSavers unlimited ticket for the parks which will allow me access for up to 5 days while I'm there. And of course ROF without express. I'm not local so looking for the best park ticket options. The Unlimited for $200 seems to be the way to go. Am I off on this? Thanks.

The girl with the fox mask is hilarious! I'm glad you all are enjoying our legion so far, we're having a blast playing out there. Thanks for doing what you do! You are one of the wife and I's fave legions this year. Not sure who this one was but she was awesome. Great fun! Wife had to protect her chips!

I was hoping to see more of them but only saw a few here and there both Thursday and Sunday. They must have been hiding from me.

Went Thursday and was one of the first group to get in. The card kiosk was not open yet and security wouldn't even let me near there. It was going to be another 20+ minutes before it opened and I wasn't waiting to get started on houses. Never got back to the front of the park until after midnight so no card for me.
Hope there are still some Sunday.

I'll be making my first attempt with photos at HHN this year. Last year I took hardly any as I was there just one night and focusing on houses. I picked up a Canon S100 on Sunday. I wanted something pocketable but good in low light. I'll mainly be using 24mm / f2.0. Can't wait until Thursday!

and I can't believe Penn is such a scaredy cat
:lol:he was saying how he went to Walking Dead and he got really really scared lol, how he hates haunted houses because he gets too scared and cannot stand them, I found that really funny,
What I thought even funnier was the comment about MNSSHP. Priceless!
