Scareactors definitely do make the house! Sure a house could look nice but with no one in it it's just that, eye candy. I don't know about you but I go to HHN to scared or startled, after all that's the whole point, right? Sure I want things to look nice but I think Scareactors make about 60 or so percent of the house in my opinion. So I agree with Jenn.

Ah, so much hate for Saws N Steam and the In Between. We've all seen last year how some of the least anticipated houses turn out to be the best!

I highly doubt this means anything but while I was in the park the other day I noticed that Universal took out the railings from the old Herc and Xena building. To me it looks like they're trying to make room for more people to fit in there. I wonder if they'll put the new show in there, just a thought.

Dident get cast for HHN. Since i wasent cast its sad to say but i sorta lost all intrest in HHN in general :/

They were extremely selective about the audition, I was one of the four people they selected.

Im sure they had to notice cause they have to enter all of that information into the system. They never commented on it but they scrutinized my audition papers because they called me back in to ask specifically if i wanted to play jason Vorhees.
Okay, I just signed up for a new audition date. Hopefully they don't say anything! lol

Back in 07 I auditioned as a 17 year old. In fact, I didn't turn 18 until my first night of rehearsal.
Really? Did they look at your age when you auditioned? Well I canceled that appointment so I'd have to make one for another day when they become available again.

Only time will tell. Don't expect it but keep checking just in case.
Only reason I ask is because in the employee newsletter it says "Auditions every tuesday from July 12th to August 2nd".

Well I had to cancel my audition time because you have to be 18 at the time of the audition ( I turn 18 two weeks after

Auditions last through middle of August from what i saw last year. Even then im sure you can still go audtion and say your pretty much 18 and the event isnt for another 3 months so you should be fine.
Hopefully I can! I would only be able to do ABU though, due to my other job at SeaWorld.

I turn 18 on July 30th, is there any way I can still audition? I'll be 18 literally 18 days after the first audition.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it or not, I really want to though! I turn 18 July 30th so that'll be just after the first few auditions so I'm thinking that they'll be all filled up by then :/ Does anyone know when they normally fill up by?

I really hope that someone was able to get the last show on video, or at least parts of it. I sadly had to miss it since a few things got in the way.
If anyone has it let me know, I would greatly appreciate it!

I was there and I agree. I did think the show was not as bad as stated by some of the reviews I've read on this thread. However, what you posted makes a lot of sense. I felt like it could have been a better experience. You pointed out faults I tried to ignore during the show, but are right on.... and there was an IronMan scene???
Also, the crowd that showing SUCKED. The guy who played avatar (air bender) spent the entire finale (when the characters are amongst the audience) trying to get the poeple in front of us to clap along. This probably affected the actors too on top of everything else.
Then what's with the barbie hands??
I know that most people don't like the show at all this year, but really I don't think it's all that bad. Sure it's not as good as last years show but it's not a complete failure. I just noticed a lot of things that night since I've seen the show quite a few times this year. It was mostly just technical issues, I saw it again yesterday and everything seemed to be back in place. I guess we just really got unlucky with that one showing.
