  1. ^It's true... HHNH is using solely makeup for our Walking Dead attractions. For characters like Bicycle Girl and Well Walker have very realistic prosthetic work done. I think HHNO SHOULD be doing the same for TWD as Hollywood is this year. There are no excuses...

  2. When John Murdy was asked about Penn and Teller: "I chose to do TCM instead...more our brand" So now we know what the dropped maze was. Imagine if we shared ANOTHER property with Orlando! I would imagine Penn And Teller would do the cameos here more than Orlando though.

What he meant was he didn't want to do Penn and Teller, he wanted to do TCM. Not that they designed it and then dropped it...

  3. I should've been more specific when I said, "Gut the HoH". I meant maybe keep but redress half the rooms (Frankenstein's lab, the entrance bridge, and the Phantom's Lair), but completely tear out the permanent sets and replace them with normal haunt sets (Maybe tear out the catacomb walls, the Chucky room, and the Mummy hall, etc.). That way, once they want to turn it back to normal daytime HoH, they could put the Catacomb walls back, but not have them built as permanent sets. It could be easier to change HoH for HHN.

They should just gut the bottom floor. The catacombs, wolfman rooms, frankenstein and just build a new maze on the ground floor and don't go upstairs. A brand new layout and everything. It wouldn't alter the more permanent scenes upstairs.

  4. ^My list is exactly the same as yours, except the 08 mazes since I never experienced them... although I should've. I was confused with online ticketing from 2006-2008. I only ever bought tickets at the front gate for KSF 2003-2008... but I digress...

Well... technically, La Llorona had 3 new scenes in the end, if you count the recycled snake from AC last year with the head of La Llorona on it lunging at the guests through a hole in the wall. La Llorona disturbed me this year, in the best way possible. But I would say more than 50% is new. The only scenes they kept exactly the same were, the first ending, the first scene/facade including the statue hall and a facade right after that and the small pigs room. Even the River scene was tweaked this year, which left a visual in my memory that will never fade. Overall the best repeated maze HHNH has ever had... now... let's hope they stop repeating mazes! ;)

  5. I'm glad TCM is getting some love, it was truly a great maze that I think is being overlooked by a few "I've seen this before!" elitists. I wouldn't say it's better than the 07/08 version but it was definitely warranted to be made as it proved with how unique it could be on its own.

And good to see another UMR hater. If we continue to give that maze scathing reviews, hopefully they'll never waste their resources and give us something that crappy ever again.

Is there 3 of us now? You, me and Instamatic, right? Stand strong, our opinions can change this event! Buahahahahah

Is it possible that TCM:BIB is held on such a high pedestal because of history making it seem more intense that not a lot of people can get behind TCM:TSITL? I wouldn't know because I didn't experience BIB, but it is a psychological possibility...

  6. ^I don't know if I'm sick of I'm sick of IP's as much as I think they should take a lesser stance. My Top 4 mazes were (in no order) TCM, TWD, ACGTH and La Llorona. Half original Half IP. That's what HHNH should do, have original mazes as well as IP. I mean, in my case, there is no denying that you just can't replicate the intensity of TCM and TWD (When I went through) in an original maze. There's just no way. But you can't create something as uniquely horrifying as ACGTH and La Llorona. I mean, Alice Cooper this year had nothing to do with his music, it was all original scenes with Alice Cooper's music playing basically. La Llorona was also completely original once again and both of those mazes I had no idea what to expect which made the experiences all the more exciting. Maybe next year half original, half IP will finally happen, and I will be happy with that! :)

  7. ^Terminator did feel familiar. But the way they can create scenes in there is amazing. I think the JP queue is awesome for outdoor scenes, like the guillotine scene in AC last year and the gas station and graveyard in TCM this year.

Edit: WWW Venue is definitely awesome! The facade this year fixed the problem of seeing the tent. It blocked the tent passed the fence and coroner's van. And even before that the tent was mostly covered and your attention was naturally drawn to the huge hospital.

  8. ^^Thanks Asylum.

^Thanks Freak. I read your review as well. I enjoyed it a lot. I love how we have the same opinion of La Llorona this year!

I really appreciate how my opinions are so vocal for the majority on the board here. It feels good to know we all think alike. :)

And thanks everyone for reading my review, literally thought 1 person would read it! :P

  9. ^Me too, he had a beard right? A hat too. Some kind of hat.

I didn't see anybody freakin' famous. And I never do :-/ Although my friend is a reporter and I spotted her but that doesn't really count haha Oh and my friend in the TWD maze and he's been in a couple movies... but yeah... friends don't count haha

Was the reporter for G4? If she was, me and my friend photobombed her shoot! :D

  10. ^I know. They should have taken them through during the Eyegores. While it was closed. The thing is tonight and the rest of the event, ACGTH will have a long line because when it's closed first people tend to skip over it which spreads the line out more, tonight may be a different story.

Did you see Alice last night? I did outside the Globe. He looked happy to be there, although he didn't look like he wanted to be interviewed. I think he's kind of a shy guy.

  11. ^Thanks. That joke made me laugh so frickin' hard. The funniest part was that while some people like myself got the joke right away. The majority of the theater didn't until the awkward silence which made it that much funnier.

I am so glad I got lucky in TCM. I mean, if that happened to you maybe you would think it was on par with TCM:BIB. I mean, going through alone from the Diner scene on was just insane. Before that was okay going alone, but the second half all alone made me feel vulnerable. I'm guessing the maze was designed to work best with small groups instead of a conga line. I really hope you get as lucky as I did next time you go, with both TCM and SH. They work when the timing is right, which is unfortunate when it's not. Since you might not get as lucky as I did, try to test the limits of how far back you can get from the group in front of you. It slightly works to cause a more intimidating experience.

Glad you agree with me about La Llorona. Last year she was almost a victim until the end, this time, as the name implies, she is a hunter.

And yeah, they really should've done more with the theme on the Terror Tram. They could have stolen the story line to Zombiegeddon in Orlando and made it serious and it would have been better. The story flat out sucked, the experience rocked. Hopefully next year it's the best of both worlds.
