  1. \wow is nice to hear from an actor,

I just have some questions, What if the pics are taken during the day with no flash? and what if the people taking the pics are not asking you or stopping you but just taking pics of you scaring other people, that is taking pics of actors while doing their job, makes no difference? I'm just wondering since the real problems seem to be Flash, and stopping actors and asking, but like Goo said, being in the corner of the zone taking pics of the actors working but still get yelled at for even doing that, just wondering,

or even, What about video? during the day ( I mean when is not dark) walking through the zone filming? because the creatures at Grown evil hide as soon as they see any camera

and about the scenic shots around the park, well, last year was amazing to take pics of the park, , but, this year, the best thing in the streets are the actors, besides that, there really isn't that much going on,

First of all it strongly depends on the zone, managers, and even scaractors when it comes to the photos. I personally will scare those with video cameras since they are so focused on the screen they don't see me coming up with a scare into the camera. But if the camera has an obnoxious light I will hide, no need to blind myself so you can post a video to youtube.

Secondly, with being in a corner for a scare zone. While you may be out of the flow of traffic, most (if not all) corners and "hiding spots" are actually where the scaractors go to hide/prepare for a scare. So if a Guest is in that location, we cannot safely return to our scare area. I'm sure you're really nice, but I don't think it would be too much fun to squeeze into a tight corner together. The key thing is to keep everyone safe, so if the scaractor does not have a safe area to return to, it can create issues.

I did see people taking pictures in the zones after closing last night, granted you don't have the scaractors there, but you can get some cool shots of the decorations.

Sorry I can't offer too much help, there is the new photo op at the front of the park. After 8 it slows down up there so its a good time to get pictures of Lady Luck/Demon and her minons. :)

  2. Lucy/Minions. I had a blast playing with you all "in the zone". Had fun interacting with the Demon Luck as well (yes, Uncle Fred is still dead). Also got a great Nightmares shout out. I'm just sorry you had to repeat it - there were some chainsaws or something going off nearby...

:) Uncle Fred! I believe we met last week in Nightmaze. I love seeing repeat Guests, keep coming back!!

  3. From last night:

Your Luck Has Run Out: Scare of the night, and possibly the whole weekend when it's said and done, goes to you guys. This was the only street I hadn't done yet, and I was dreading it because I'd passed by earlier and saw the Spade Gang out and about. But at 9:08 I gathered my courage, and in I went. I made it through most of the alley without anything happening until I noticed a guard watching me. I hesitated, fearful, but when he didn't move, I turned around to move on.

With a horrific scream, a perfectly concealed Demon Luck came lurching out of the fog and was RIGHT in my face. Oh she got me GOOD, I screamed and yelled "Oh SHIT!" Now, I love a good scare, so I clapped and laughed it off... well, I sure as hell wasn't laughing when I tried to leave the alley and one of the guards suddenly kicked on his chainsaw and charged at me! Oh man I screamed and screamed and scrambled butt over elbow to get out of there. If any of those scareactors are reading this, that was fantastic! I thought about that scare all night!

:) You're welcome. (p.s. I love it when people clap, mostly because when I get scared I clap too)

  4. Did anyone else get told to leave a scare zone? Because I did. I was taking pictures with my D90 in Lady Luck's zone and I was told to leave, and then in Grown Evil one of the security guys told me to leave and to stop using flash when I clearly wasn't (I spent five minutes in front of this guy, literally). Anyways, not the best year for pictures, and it was pretty crowded when I was getting shots but I got some good ones I think. Just a little disappointed on how I was treated while I was in zones getting shots. I also made sure I wasn't in the way, I stood in a corner or against a wall/gate when I was taking pictures.

Its nothing against you personally, however when you have come to a scarezone later you are coming in after however many jerks we have had that night with a camera and we are at our wits end. Last night was horrible for pictures, people using a flash about 1 foot from my face, trying to take inappropriate pictures (lucky girls are wearing skirts, and people can be rude), and even if people "ask" if they can take a picture and you say no, they will still take it anyways. But also if a Guest sees us allowing pictures from someone who is being respectful (such as yourself) it only takes them a moment to start throwing a fit because we are allowing someone else to take a picture but not them. I wish I could tell you a work around, there is the new photo op at the front of the park, and plenty of scenic shots to take around the park. I'm sorry if you thought we were rude, honestly after about 5 camera flashes to the face, I'm halfway to a migraine, and a scareactor with a migraine makes for poor scares. Which let's face it you're there for the scares! :) Hope you come back and let us scare you!
