  1. Avoid the JP CAFE. There burgers are burnt on the outside and pink on the inside. The personal pizzas are always cold and the bread sticks are always hard. The best places to eat in the park are Panda Express, Cantina, and Louise Pizza. You can't go wrong with orange chicken and egg rolls. The nachos from Cantina are really good and plentiful. I wouldn't bother with the souvenir sipper since you'll have to carry it with you all night.

    The Universal Studio Store on Citywalk sells the exact same merchandise as the stores in the park do, so you can buy all of your souvenirs there before you enter the park and leave them in your car.

    Most people don't even know there is a lower lot. Go there first to avoid the crowd and lines that will form later on . Transformers is a decent ride, but it's not worth the wait . Like the Kong Express, you'll be disappointed and pissed if you wait more than 30 minutes for this attraction.

    Once you're back upstairs, hit the terror tram! After the tram, go to WWW venue and then the T2 Que. Catch the Bill and Ted show afterwards and if there's time, La Llorona. House of Horrors is always a mess. IMO They should just add more scare actors and keep the same theme and characters as the daytime version.

  2. Nope. Besides the Tram Videos and Ghostface, there was no extra Scream theming. Once the tram stops, the tour guide informs guests that besides the report of a serial killer on the loose in the backlot the Stabathon is still on, but you have to walk there. You're supposed to be walking through the sets of four horror films that are currently being filmed in the backlot in order to reach the Stabathon. There was no banner or facade for the Stabathon that I remember. You just get back on the tram. I did enjoy the storyline and there were quite a few scares and wtf? moments on the TT this year though.

    The Scream scare zone is pretty bare bones too: Ghostface Statue, Lights, and Go Go Dancers in bloody bodybags.

    It's a shame they didn't go all out with the property. I hope they make a proper maze out of the property next year.

  3. One of many firsts this year, SCREAM will be hitting the backlot and terrorizing the guests of the Terror Tram! A first, a major motion picture will be only represented on the Terror Tram and NOT with a maze/house.

    Was the decision to throw Ghostface on the backlot to have their own reign of terror on "four different films" a good one or will it only make us long for a maze?

    I'm a fan of the Scream films, so I was really looking forward to the Terror Tram. Well, the video on the tram was cool. It would be freaking cool to have a documentary style Scream film .

    Ghostface is everywhere on the backlot, and I mean EVERYWHERE, including the Bates Motel. The chainlink fence maze was really good. It's full of Ghostface actors trying to stab you . It was the only highlight of the tram. Otherwhise, it's the same Terror Tram as previous years.I did see a lot more Bushmen though.

  4. This was the first maze I went through on Tuesday night. You won't be dissapointed. It's nothing like the tame and watered down scare zone we got last year. There was so much attention to detail. They really outdid themselves... I really did feel like I stepped into a Catholic Church in Mexico.

    I was very impressed and there were quite a few scares in this maze. I know several people were dissapointed when this maze was announced, but you really can't miss this one. In fact, I recommend that you go through this one first and not HOH.

    SPOILER ALERT::

    There's a scene where she eats her children!!!

  5. This maze was in the JP Que. The entrance is to the left of the Starway escelator and you have to walk up these stairs to the top of JP OUTFITTERS and down again.

    I didn't really get this maze because I'm not an Alice Copper fan, but I thought it was very nicely done and had the best performers, anamatronics, and costumes. You start by entering a bedroom where you will be startled by a scareactor entering the room....Then they had these baby statues who turned out to be live actors!! After that, there was this room with a guillotine and a stilt walker who had Alice Cooper make up on. I dont remember what else was going on, but there was a school room and a giant spider on a wall! And just when I thought it was over, someone was waiting outside for us .

    Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive, but I thought it was intense, weird, and awesome! I can't wait to go again on Friday!

  6. I went to the preview on Tuesday, and it was my least favorite one. There were so many random characters who I felt had nothing to do with the Wolfman story. There were several male actors with some kind of random mask on with shaker cans, and very few female actors who I guess were supposed to be victims?. They didn't bother to cover up the Chucky dolls... there was a strobe or lightning effect going on (?) and you could clearly see the doll display :'(. I wasn't impressed with the Wolfman costume, and there were several Wolfmen towards the end. I was, however, startled by what I thought was a guest trying to push his way to the back, but it was really Lawrence... (I think, I hope so).

    I wasn't feeling this maze. (Maybe it's because I did this maze after coming back from the lower lot and experiencing the awesomeness that was Alice... and Hostel!). I felt that it was poorly themed, random scare actors that had nothing to do with the film or story, but I could be wrong because I haven't seen the film in years!!
