  1. This house was one of my favorites at the beginning of the event, but I'm feeling like a lot of the actors are just losing steam :( Maybe it's just my timing, but I go through this house A LOT and it just seems like it's on a decline. I want it to be as intense as it was for opening weekend again! I'm kinda hoping somebody can prove me wrong..

  2. Lately I've noticed that too many of the scares are being attempted by the stilt-walkers, which really irritates me because frankly.. stilts AREN'T that scary. That doesn't mean that none of the scares can come from them, but I feel the stilt-walkers should be moving about the zone flapping their wings and providing more of an "aerial" distraction so that the scareactors on the ground can come out and make the scares happen. Just sayin..

Sidenote: LOVE the costumes and ambiance, scare tactics are my only complaint

  3. Am I the only one that thinks a roof is absolutely necessary in the Masque of the Red Death room?

I usually couldn't care less if they had roofs or not in the houses, but IMHO when I walk into this room every time , the first thing I notice is the tent roof. Kinda ruins the theming for a sec :(

  4. Thanks for all the feedback, especially the positive. We are trying our best to make it as crazy as possible.

Keep up the great work! Even with all the negative opinions people have had, you guys are really working hard to make this an awesome scarezone.

  5. The show has A LOT of room for improvement, but I'm excited to see something new and different in the entertainment aspect of HHN. I'm not a fan of Bill & Ted, so I'm always curious to see the other shows that Universal offers. My only suggestion is, they need to add more variety when it comes to the types of drums, not just use the same sounds.

  6. I LOVE how loud this house is! It adds to the chaos and makes everything feel out-of-control. What I like is how it can be fairly quiet when you walk into a room and all the sudden you've got strobes flashing and guns firing while an alien is flailing about... AWESOME lol

  7. Great review! Thanks for sharing! I'm glad to see more people enjoying Nightmaze, as I personally love it and can't wait to see how much more awesome it's going to become. Sorry you didn't get any scares in Grown Evil :( I've had some great scares in that zone, but I think it definitely depends on the cast's energy. It's still awesome nonetheless :)

  8. When walking through Canyon of Dark Souls I got an idea for this house.. why couldn't they make the eyes with a switch controlled by the scareactor so that they turn on when they scare? I think the only room that the eyes should be left on is the courtyard.

  9. I love all the houses so much, but I've been through this one quite a few times already and I come running out screaming every time! This one is in a close race for my favorite of the year so far. This house is like a sensory overload! I love the finale, especially how they brought back the dropping metal bar from Zombiegeddon :)

  10. So this is one of my favorite houses this year but what blew my mind last night was

the laser room since going in I thought the entire time it was glass walls but I accidentally touched it yesterday and it was all mesh!

I discovered this myself last night! Honestly, it kinda makes me feel better that there's a real "barrier" between me and the scareactors in there

  11. I actually really dug this zone. it had a really surreal atmosphere to it (the weird music and lights) and i do like that it changes. i think in a few more days the actors could perfect this and maybe they could add more stuff to it

I totally AGREE! I think the zone itself is pretty awesome, and once the actors find their groove it can be even better. This and Grown Evil are my top scarezones ;)

  12. I worked in Ops in 2008 at Dead Exposure, and I can say nothing pissed me off more than other spotters who stand in their position waving people through with a flashlight.. like REALLY? The basis of a haunted attraction is to be dark and scary, and without the dark, you don't have scary lol. Personally, the only time I turned on my flashlight was to shine light on the floor for a wheelchair, or to blind some idiot troll who got up in my face ;)

BTW, this is my first post on the board :) Been visiting this site religiously for years, but never joined til now.
