  1. Walking Dead wouldn't completely take over the event...

    But I could see them doing a house per season in one year. Or something like that. (I Know They already did season 1 and season 3 this year, but they could always tweak them, there is a lot of World to explore in WD)

    I could see them making multiple houses for WD later on. each house being based on something different from the show.

    I mean, think about it, If someone told you last year that Walking Dead was going to take over every single street experience you would probably laugh at them and say that was very stupid. Now look where we are...

    I could see the multiple houses for WD happening. or a Dual run house. Why make only one house when you could create different houses based on the same show? Imagine the numbers that would bring

    Stop. Giving. Marketing. Ideas....

  2. I was just discussing the difference between the location of last years house and this years. I think the difference will b night n day. I can't wait to see the way they use lighting and the amount of detail they go into.

    Lol "night and day"...because disaster...to parade...i see what you did there!

  3. "Flashback" (which was the hint provided by Jimmy), is rumored to be inspired by attempted assassin Guisepie Zangara, who tried killing Roosevelt, but killed Chicago mayor Zemeckis instead. He was executed by electric chair (the flash) and the house will supposedly go back through his life.

    Personally, I hope the title is Aftershock.

    That would actually pretty neat as far as titles go. Reminds me of a natural disaster though.

    Speaking of disasters...is havoc 2 supposed to be the disaster queue house this year?

  4. You could use public transport? A bus or maybe a train?

    I live in Clearwater, so that's not really an option, lol. I had planned on staying with friends for the duration.

    But I may actually be moving to Orlando by next years event, so here's hoping.

  5. Jeez... I just wish they wouldn't reveal houses in a fashion like "IP, IP, IP, IP, IP, IP, original original"...but alas...it seems that's what's going to happen =/

    All things considered, I'm fine with loading up on IP mazes for this year and last, as I find it completely explainable with how they are been setting up placement due to construction and whatnot.

  6. I know it's a long shot, and even though I do love Repo I'd think Devil's Carnival would be awesome to see live- and would fit right in, and it's fairly easy to do. It's on the shorter side, as shows go and short vignettes like that are always fun to stage.

    And it has a sequel coming out, so that could've been some publicity.

    Wait...hold on....a sequel to the devils carnival? When?

  7. Since the ad leak more or less confirmed this will be all the new movie (similar to the thing in 2011), maybe we'll get a flooded basement scene! And hopefully the mirror face scene too.

    Also, anyone think they would/could reenact the blood rain scene from the end?

  8. I'm not sure if Philip who posted the video on the horror unearthed Facebook page is on here, or who he is. But the video essentially explains what cabin in the woods will be.

    In the video it kind of strays from what we've been told so far, but that got me to speculating even harder about the house.

    When he told me they get their information comes directly from Universal, that got me to thinking what if they were right in the video?

    in the video they basically say that we're in the cabin is part of the sacrifice, including the zombie redneck torture family.

    Now what if, and stay with me here, we are in the night but... DUAL RUN CABIN IN THE WOODS MAZE..

    once I got to thinking about it, it kind of makes sense.

    picture this: first run... in the cabin, all of a sudden the Buckner Family shows up. sacrifices...mayhem...the works.

    second run: working in the facility as the other group of guests go through the maze as the sacrifices happen, and with the ending of the first Run coming into the facility, they flip the switch we see all the monsters let loose while in the facility.

    Pure speculation obviously, but it kind of makes sense. This may very well be able to be done in ss21a and b.

  9. No worries. Some folks are able to have intelligent discussions regarding their opinions. Others only criticize because they have nothing to say or forgot what it was like to talk with an actual human being. On topic, Orlando has the history and ability to do some creative attractions. Many possibilities if they are able to focus on original content.

    Wasn't necessarily pure criticism. It would be a pretty bad idea. Slenderman is a new age urban legend that really only started circulating more within the last couple years and was more a product of the internet than anything else....made even easier to scare with due to how easy it is to modify stock photos now...even old ones.

    Maybe in time, slender could be viable, like if we got an urban legend themed house. But, in all honesty he doesn't really have a place at this years event (given what we know so far).

  10. This is the last time I'm gonna say it.....dissect. the. word. flashback. :)

    Fla=Florida

    Sh=Shark

    Back=uh....back. as in return...yeaaaa....

    Dr. Jimmy's Shark In the Dark house, lol.

    But seriously, what if that really is a dissection of the word, and since one of the old shark props from Jaws is in the back of the Disaster queue, this could be a location hint more so than a house itself.
