well it's not like big spoilers like what gags are being used or what the ending of mazes are. just small neat things there doing

I got you. I’m just one of the people that wants to know the houses and that’s about it...yeah I spec on what could be done with a house or zone but I don’t want to know tricks of the houses like you said for cgy

This is probably an honest mistake...the same one I made talking to my friends.  2 of my friends have family in Florida and have Florida Resident Season Passes for Universal, and when I was reading up on the ticket info for the event, it said something like "Free Parking for Seasonal Passes not valid during HHN event nights" or something like that.  Seasonal vs Season - I didn't pick up on the difference.

I guess Universal has fall seasonal passes available or something...and they aren't valid for HHN nights.

Season/seasonal are the same thing. Seasonal and ANNUAL however...

Great digging mate! I don’t use Twitter, so this just kicked my excitement into high gear! This is for sure my most anticipated house of the event (so far), plus KKFOS?!?!

Two days... Then five days... Then 24 days...

That schedule puts the third announcement/update of these dates at July 20. With the event starting on September 14, wouldn’t that put us closer to the full reveal?

Wording is very important. Just because the new Halloween isn't being featured, doesn't meant that Michael Meyers won't return.

I’m still holding onto hope for a Halloween Resurrection house...complete with Busta Rhymes’ Kung Fu vs Michael...hell, they could even get Busta to perform in it, he isn’t doing much these days.

So have we come up with a conclusion to the Pickle Rick clue set? Is it connected to Schwartz pickles?

I’d be ok if it was a throwback to Meetz’ Meats since I missed 08/09. Could be Sam Meetz opening an all new delicatessen.

Also, I considered pickle to be a Shaun of the Dead/Cornetto trilogy mashup due to Shaun’s nickname being pickle. That connection seemed too simple though.

For he love of god give us a Killer Klowns house, my girlfriend has never done hhn and hates clowns.

Unfortunately, this is all wishful thinking for my first year since I moved back to the east coast.

I have seen a video of the Chucky show on YouTube. I honestly haven't really paid attention to Hollywood's event until recently with all the shared houses we keep having, probably around the time La Llorona moved over. I had no idea of all this. I've only been to that park once and I literally only got butterbeer and did the tram.

But... it’s the 54th annual Chucky’s Terror Tram!

Date I've heard consistently is 7th. If the trailer drops on the 8th, then Universal wouldn't have anything to showcase with a house announcement.

Nevermind that everything else I've consistently heard about the 7th doesn't include a house.

No house announcement? Bill and Ted return confirmed!

I agree. I love the Thing but I think the majority of people (myself included) were hopeful just because they missed a Thing house before.

    Was Winchester that good?

Also unrelated but were/are you a member of iwrestledabearonce?

Winchester was pretty good, a couple jump scares, but definitely more story driven.

The REAL Winchester mansion has also been a fascination of mine since I was a kid, so either real thing or movie could easily be adapted.

And no just a fan and it’s my handle on pretty much anything online.

  9. Hey all, I’ve not been active AT ALL on the forums since 22...moving to the desert will do that to you. But, since I’m back in FL and a UOAP again, I decided to look up the site and was ecstatic to find it was still around since I was active until not long after the vault got shut down.

Anyway,on to the actual spec discussion/comment: as hopeful as I am for IT, probably not happening unless it’s the “secret house”. The Thing however, I’ve been seeing and hearing a lot of buzz about from all my sources I go to. Couple things with that, firstly, why would they do the thing, there’s no significance to doing that as an ip house to promote a current or upcoming movie, hell the prequel came out the better part of a decade ago....now don’t get me twisted, I would love it as a house again as it’s my favorite non franchised horror movie ever. Next, Kind of on the back of my previous statement I don’t see them allocating the resources for a thing house again without reason, granted the one in 07 didn’t really have a reason aside from our first really ip heavy event.

You want to impress me and others with a horror movie turned haunt that is still relevant/current? Give me Winchester. HELL, don’t even need to make it tied to the movie so much, could be more effective as a haunted house maze a la Wyandott estate.

TL;DR— Thing unlikely, Winchester more likely, Probably a LT connection.
