I'm kind of bummed that this forum seems to have slowed way down. It used to be the place to get my fix while waiting for the event to return.
Here's to hoping the chatter picks back up whenever the first bit of official news starts to trickle out.

Add that to the weirdness lately. Can you move it for me then?
Will do!

It's a great show. Really amazing to see live.

I actually think the house is great. Really effective scares in this one.

A recycled pumpkin mask from 2008 will spoil the event? LOL
OK I will refrain anyway. Funny this is coming from the guy who says the event sucks.
I just didn't really know where to put "roaming hordes" Seeing as we do not have a thread for it.
We do actually.

I'll keep it short since I don't want to ruffle any feathers. Experience the event, then make your critiques.

I think they mentioned on twitter that it was the same lanyard. Like last year's double design lanyard.

Yeah, even without spoilers. No need to get anyone in trouble, so i'll be locking this.

Here's a photo update from new HNN Media Contributer, HHNPeter.

Nothing official has been released yet. Just rumors so far.

While the themes are still to be announced, it's known to be part of the street experience this year. Feel free to discuss in here!

I don't feel the site is fully updated just yet.

I think this is going to be a great year for both houses and streets. Very glad they covered the F&F construction walls.

The London stuff is interesting but I don't think they'd put a scarezone there. Right now it's just lighting rigs so perhaps it's just some special lighting for RTU that they might use for HHN as well? The year when Diagon wasn't open for HHN they had those set up to project some red lights across the buildings.
I'm guessing it's just atmospheric lighting. They had some lighting rigs set up around the area last year too.

I'm really hoping they have some great strobe/lightning effects here. Very excited for this one.

I just saw on my calendar that opening night there is going to be a full moon. I'm sure nobody cares, but I thought it was cool
Should be a Harvest Moon too!

Big set pieces are the best kind of set pieces. Loving the Annabel Lee.

How do you deal with the spoilers of seeing it before you go?
In stride. Seeing things before hand don't really ruin the experience for me usually.

I hope scarezone construction keeps up the brisk pace it's on. One of my favorite things to follow each year.

Seems like this scarezone will use the same projection mapping that Acid Assault used a few years back. That definitely bumps it up a spot on the anticipated list.

Official thread is now open, so I'll be closing this one now.

Finally time to open this poll up! Be sure to vote and comment with your most anticipated list below!

Very excited for Shining, can't wait to see the typewriter in person. It's been on the top of my house wishlist for a decade now.
