Now, I know we've ruled out a Casino House, but behind the door appears to be a casino. You can see the red curtains and lights in the top right corner. Now, in my opinion it could be anything, a scare zone, a house, or even just some concept art. However, it does appear that there is a Casino, regardless of its purpose.

Based off his posts it doesn't look that Lady Luck killed him per say, but rather just "took over him". Hal is not dead, he is controlled by Lady Luck.
