  1. ^Woo-Hoo!!! Can't wait to see the rest of the critiques so I can finally post my treatments!

FYI when I post my events, they're not going to be in any particular order...

Soooo, after the rest of the critiques are in, I'm wondering which maze do you guys wanna see first?

    List of Completed Mazes

    PsychoScarepy: Hatchaway Camp

The Initiation: Sisters for Life... and Death

    The Haunting of Hellgate Hall

Dead Paradise: Sun, Fun, and SLaughter

Dementsions: The Other Side (Actually this maze still needs a few more adjustments :P )

  2. ^Your right, someone needs to take action so this game can continue. It's either that the rest of the judges turn in their critiques or we take Ridesandstuff's suggestion and have him be a judge.

If th judges dont have their critiques in, i can back out of the competition and be a judge. I have a better event planned for the next game with a original icon

  3. You know....demons, hell, satan, all that stuff. I guess if movies can do it without backlash, they can do it too

Like Freak and Hauntfan said about the WtH and the 7 scarezone, there was no controversy whatsoever. But if people were to complain about anything at all concerning the 7 Deadly Sins, maybe just maybe, they might say something about the sin of Lust. Otherwise, I see no reason to cause backlash.

  4. ^Who knows maybe the Preacher from 2009's event Welcome to Hell will be the icon. That would be a good theme and the slogan could be Halloween Horror Nights 2012: Welcome to Hell, themed around the apocalypse and the end of the world in 2012 according to the Mayan calendar.

If Transformers is successful enough (I guess when since this will be the biggest ride at USH since JP), I heard that the budget will provide a large increase for HHN. So much so to the point where USH may finally be able to rent out a sound stage for the event. If they do that, we will be on Orlando's level in no time.

With the new SS rumor, they would have plenty of space. Could this also mean that they will have two houses in there equaling seven haunted houses?

Hey if they were to a do a Welcome to Hell themed event with the seven mazes, they could do a Seven Deadly Sins themed event! But that's more of wishful thinking... just thought I'd throw that idea out there.

  5. We tried something like that back in the Vault days. Not enough people participated and the ones that did wouldn't come on the site often enough, leaving their partner out dry. I'd love to do it one day though!

Well, I can see that happening. It's already hard enough to recruit the bare minimum of participants for these event competitions that we've had so far, so if hopefully the tag team concept won't die away.

Anyhow, hopefully in the future these event competitions might spark enough interest to have a full-fledge tag team competition!

  8. ^Nice review! It's a pretty fair and honest critique, and that's what I like about it. I just thought I 'd point out a few things:

1."After thinking about it, I'm also pretty positive the other stage they use for storage right now is the one next to Transformers. I think they store some metal shop stuff in there, so it could be moved easily. The filmed a cop drama in there and Parenthood was supposed to take it but they changed and now are located in 44 instead of 34 which is the stage I'm talking about. I think two mazes could fit in each possibly, I need to get started, haha." -- Hauntfan.

"^Haha. It's funny, I think they might even store HHN props in there as well. And honestly I think the reason they haven't used these yet, is they aren't ready for them. With a soundstage you would need to build an enormous facade inside of it like in Orlando, and Hollywood until recently has not had many impressive facades." -- Hauntfan

Based on these posts in Game 1, I assumed that the sound stages the that housed the 5 mazes were acceptable to be made in the events. And since I saw that neither of the judges commented on it, I also assumed that it was safe to use these locations again.

2.Another thing I'd like to mention is that The Terror Tram is based on one of my earlier ones that I posted in the "HHNH Creations" page in on this forum titled, "Urban Legendz: What You Don't Believe Can Kill You."

    3. My marketing campaign idea for this particular event would involve a online puzzle game like the ones that HHNO would have, with puzzles and games that would lead to hints about the events mazes. Which would involve maze back-stories too.

  9. OK, I'm *this* close to posting my complete event treatments on this page, but I know that I shouldn't. Come on judges, post your events already!!

    P.S.

It's very uncharacteristic of me being impatient, but you guys have to understand that I've been working on this event for a LONG time and I don't to see everyone's efforts to die like this. :(
