  1. Oh i know... but thats what the daytime park hours are for :P But the good part is, only a few 'daytime only' attractions/shows are missed during the event hours. My suggestion though for those that can only go to HHN (and not the park during the day), get the houses done first before the rides. Save the show(s) for after the houses as well. If worried about lines, an express pass does wonders.

Yeah I always hit the houses first. But being at a theme park, I can never pass up an opportunity to go on the rides . I also love the idea of hordes, they worked great at HOS... Im sure that HHN will make it a big hit

  2. When you say lack, do you mean quantity of houses and zones?

Technically, we are close to the highest number of "zones" we've ever had.

08 had 6 official scarezones, 3 "hordes" (they didn't roam that much), and 1 themed area.

    Official zones were:

    Path of the Wicked

    Asylum in Wonderland

    American Gorhic

    Streets of Blood

    The Skoolhouse

    Fractured Tales

    "Hordes" were:

    Mirror people

    Zombie Drill Team

    Chainsaw Drill Team

    Themed area was:

    The pumpkins in Central Park

This time we have 8 themed "zones". Whether they are roaming, hordes more similar to what we saw in 08, or actual scarezones remains to be seen, but there will be 8 themed "zones". (themed meaning they will have a centralized theme among the characters).

We are only down one house.

    So did you mean quantity?

I was mostly talking about the scare-zones and their quality not as much quantity, because there will be 8. This year there won't be much space for the scare-zones, if we even get a "scare-zone". Many years that have had a lot of IPs usually don't have the best scare-zones. And with my point that with a scare-zone and house tie-in there wont be a lot more to offer, mostly they have the same thing just in a different form. I'm not saying that it is always true, it is just my opinion. And sometimes, if done well, it is actually better with the tie-in. I'm just saying this if there are scare-zones, and not just hordes. But I do like the idea of hordes around the park... :P

  3. Free Falling - Vampires.

There's no room in hell - Walking dead reference. Also could be a scarezone zombie roaming area.

Lampy swore he saw one - Gargoyles. London gargoyles.

School's out - Alice related. School's out for summer, it's returning during his house in october.

Serious, Joking - Not sure about this one. It's clown related... but im unsure.

I've seen shit - Paranormal house related.

I'll be seeing you - Not sure about this one.

Lollipop - I'm going with a drive in scare zone, from the 50's. Almost like XX.

" She's gonna be back and she always is" - Of all the female choices. I'm going to go with the Terra Queen on this one. Not sure why... but i just have a feeling.

I honestly hope that there are not a lot of house/scare-zone tie-ins. With the lack of houses and scarezones I wouldn't want them to have a repeat. I would rather have independent strong houses/ scare-zones than weak, similar houses and scarezones

  4. I've been thinking more of a speakeasy type place, but I suppose that isn't going to be in Sprung 2 either. So, I must ask you, why don't you think there will be casino or speakeasy type house or scarezone? Has someone you trust told you this or is it just complete speculation? I'd really like to see your reasoning behind it.

I agree with you and until Universal says so officially, I'm not going to believe anything otherwise...

  5. So... you're implying that a "guest," imaginary as he may be," would somehow die at Universal, and then Universal would release a statement to the media stating that said "guest" had died at the park?

Doubtful. I wouldn't be surprised if "he" keeps posting throughout the run.

I don't think he was implying "that" but you never know what universal will do for media attention... :o

  6. If you look at the Hal FB page, I find it interesting that he likes the book The Fall of the House of Usher, a book by Edgar Allan Poe. I think this is probably a hint, since it is very safe to assume that this page is going to used for viral marketing for HHN.

my thoughts exactly! There is a good chance it is a hint but you never know with Universal, you think they will do something and then they do the opposite. It could just be a red herring... <_<

  7. Lizz you nailed it.

Take a look at these 1960 - 1969 TV Set Advertising and 1970 - 1979 TV Set Advertising, for comparison.

The posters in the TV game say "New Color TV" "New! Console TVs!" and "Everything you always wanted in a color TV"

    HHNGTV.jpg

The Console TVs was the new thing in the 70's .

Now look a this 1971 Admiral "Portable" Console TV poster:

    1971-Admiral-21in-BW-TV-Ad.JPG

Is the exact same poster at the right in the TV game.

    So, it's early 70's.

I don't know if this is relevant but, on the top of the tv of the poster, there is a 21.
