^ Figured as much. Me and Rides were talking about the whole insider thing yesterday. With everything still early in planning, Murdy himself probably doesn't know exactly what the event is gonna look like yet.
-
So I FINALLY went on YouTube and watched some videos of the Chucky Insult Emporium... I'm officially on board. Sure I would hate to see a Chucky maze, but damn if that show wasn't funny as hell! And it seems like a great inexpensive way to add another much needed show like attraction to the event! Anyone who wants a good laugh, here the video I watched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg79iwO4urs

^ I doubt it... The story is actually very similar to La Llorona. The setting is just different lol.
-
Seems like everyone kinda scattered after the prank lmao.

I don't think Universal would even need to promote Blumhouse. I see no reason why they wouldn't let Universal use their properties.
I mean, honestly, who's gonna spend $30 to go into an Insidious maze? They get away with high prices because it's original and innovative content.
Blum will continue to do his own mazes and if he was wise, let Universal use his properties so he could get more money to spruce up the budget on his event.
I think somewhere a ways back, someone asked why would Sony now let Universal use Evil Dead as a property after the Knotts fiasco? Well... I don't know, why not? Things can be fixed. This isn't middle school, afterall. As much as that sucked for Murdy, I'm sure the bridge wasn't totally burned. Plus, from what I could see and heard, it did the franchise hardly any justice at Knotts. If Sony really wants Evil Dead represented, they'll go to Universal now and with the movie out, they'll supply Murdy with all the footage he needs .
The only thing to possibly take into account is the possibility that Sony gave Knott's the rights to Evil Dead for more then one year. They did give them the rights to use The Grudge 2 for 2 consecutive years after all.I'm with you on that DTH. Sure those hints could be great for the event Murdy's hoping to have come HHN time... But just look at last year. SOOO much can change over the next few months. I mean how often has a code name had to be charged because of property switches? And that's even after a lot of the event is already "finalized" in concept.

Well FOX has been pushing The Following really hard... Seems like they are really behind the show. It being its first season though, it's a toss up as to whether it will even get a second season pick up yet.
-
It's been a slow day lol. I watch The Following last night. Great show, but I don't think it really leads itself for HHN treatment.
-
^ I personally don't think HHN will get Evil Dead, though its one of the only times I'd love to be wrong. I think I've given my opinions and thoughts on the matter more then enough times though lol!

Well, I finally got to see Mama... I could see how it could possibly be used as a property. There were elements in the film that could translate over pretty well, and the Mama ghost effect were pretty creepy (however too often to much was shown). I could see them being compared to La Llorona if not done right in a possible maze though. The movie also did pretty well for itself, 33 million+ over the extended holiday weekend.
-
Ohhhhh I completely forgot about ToT lol
-
^ That could work. It would also be a great way to use the name of a well know IP and still make a fairly original maze. You wouldn't need to base it directly on any of the episodes or the movie directly, just make it weird enough to fit the name Twilight Zone and throw in some nods for the fans to enjoy
-
Nope, but REALLY close with your connection!
-
Nope... Ok first hint.
Code Name: Eightball
Hint 1: One of the stars of the IP this maze based on took on Norman Bates in another IP... Well, sort of
-
Nope and nope. One more guess and you get a hint.
-
Wow... Talk about a hard one! Ok, so firstly, here is the updated score board:
Stitch_101: 4
DTH316: 3
Ridesandstuff: 1
horror lover: 1
behemothman08: 1
JGmoney1996: 1
Ok, so now for your next code name!!!
Code Name: Eightball
-
Hint #2: The codename is referring to the writer of a movie with the word "Resurrection" in it. That could be the entire title, as long as it's in it.
Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy and Angel, wrote the screenplay for Alien: Resurrection lol
-
The only other Resurrection connection I can make is to the Buffy and Angel maze, but the other hints don't seem to connect.
-
^ no, it was Underworld: Awakening lol
-
Walking down a hallway lined with different "cubes" filled with the different monsters and creatures... Perfection! I really would love it!

Stitch was my nickname growing up... Im VERY clumsy.. and by the time I was 15, I had gotten stitches 18 different times (I'm 25 now and my stitches count is up to 27, newest set 2 weeks ago when I sliced a thumb open really bad at work LOL) so of course the nickname Stitch stuck. And then Lilo and Stitch came out and yeah... It's never going away now.
-
Lol, I think the rest of us are too! Lmao!

Agreed... Even smaller versions of this in areas around the maze que lines would be great. I can only imagine standing in those 1.5+ hour long lines!
