The only voyage that columbus sailed with four ships was his fourth voyage. the first voyage was only with three. Also I want to point out that in the fourth voyage the none of Columbus's ships were "lost" they all were in harbor during the hurricane. The ships that were lose were the governor's fleet which lost 29 of 30 ships and 500 men died. Its a really cool idea to use this information because, without Columbus's voyages to the Caribbean, Ponce De Leon (Also Spanish) would have never discovered Florida. So there are some definate historical ties here.

even if he didn't sail with 4 ships, they could just make one up.

[HHNXVIII Review]

Alirght, i went to the event opening night backin september of 08. i went with my father and we did the AP Preview party. we did scary tales 3 and hallow twice each in the time before 6:30 then went on to DE. after that we saw b&t, Then went on to ROF. continuing the line, we did doomsday, then BC2, IT and Creatures and finished by 10:30.

My opinion on the event overall: this year was probably my least favorite year that ive done(05-10), but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. the only sz i paid attention to(since i didn't care too much about them at the time)was Fractured Tales, and it was incredibly well done. B&T was funny AF as always, the houses were mostly up to par for HHN, some under, and a few over the top excellent. Bloody Mary was an alright icon, didnt completely feel for her. all in all, an awesome time as always.

HOUSES

1. The Hallow:our first stop of the night was the Hallow. both times i did it was in the daylight, but you couldnt notice that too mcuh. A very excellent house IMO. great scenes some pretty superb scares, and the facade was great. memory's a little hazy on specifics, but i do know it was a very satisfying start to the night. 10/10

2. Scary Tales: Once Upon A Nightmare:very close second to HOTY, i thought this house was done beautifully. i didn't see the original 2, but this one was incredible. excellent scenes(rapunzel decapitation, cinderella scene), hard scares, and just a fum ol' time. both times i went were in the daylight yet again, but still an excellent house. 10/10

3. Dead Exposure: this has been said repeatedly, but i shall say it again: DAMN. one of my all time favorite houses, and defenitely HOTY. one of the most scariest houses ive ever experienced. great scenes, excellent use of stobes and blacklight, exceptional facade, and the scares were completely consistent. excellent job from every cast member.100/10

4. Reflections of Fear: one word: CRAP. one of the worst houses ive ever experienced. dissapointing facade, no scares, and underwhelming facade. for an icon house, they did a poor job. 2/10

5. DOOMSDAY: very well done house. i found it very scary, and a great "run" type house. it had some great scenes and fast scares. an enjoyable house. 10/10

6. Body Collectors: Collections From the Past: i regretfully didnt experience the original BC, so i had no idea what to expect. it was all just show scenes without scares. a meh house, just fun to walk through and look at all the scenes. 710

7. Interstellar Terror: this was the only year i found all 3 ss's to be underwhelming. BC was a bunch of show scenes, Creatures was meh, and this house i wasnt fond of . no scares,very average scnes, not a high note for A&D. 5/10

Creatures!: there were a few scares here and there, but not many. scenes were alright, nothing to brag about. A&D could've done better. 7/10

HHN Hollywood posted today on FB there giving out there next maze tomorrow. i know HLYD and Orlando dont operate the same way, but do you guys think we'll be getting our next update tomorrow? last year, from the time of the first update after the launch of the teaser, it took 6-8 days to update it next. tomorrow will be the 8th day from the thing release.

i had to have bad timing cuz i didnt get scared once nor was i very impressed with the house in general. this time they worled with thefilmakers directly. im hoping for the best this time around i mean its going to be a completely different house.

the WW1 house and hospital go together as like a war and then recovery into one slightly longer house then the thing in another ss nd leave room for another house in the last one?

Excuse me, but has Plaza of the Stars actually been confirmed? As I understood it the six scarezones were identified as follows:

with "Lucy" appearing on the same page a little lower.

Am I to understand that it is now accepted that LP is Plaza of the Stars? Shouldn't that rather be PL or even more likely POS????

I thought LP was Lucy. If not, why assume it to be Plaza of the Stars? LP could stand for many things.

ok so i was looking at the disaster pictures again and thought of something. the deer looking carvings in the wood. maybe they coud be reindeer if in fact this is thought to be a holiday house. also the easter eggs painted on the wallsm could be easter?

I have seen the facade, and I have stated that I cannot see Fairytales (or Scarytales) as the theme. Nor can I see holidays has the theme. I have no intention of posting any specifics of what the facade looks like, but I will say that Holidays and Fairytales (again, Scarytales) are very unlikely.

if it went as originaly planned, wed have one tomorrow, so theres defenitely no set schedule. as cody stated many times, stuffs done when they want it done. no year has had a set update schedule, u can see that at horrornights.be

as for the above posts about lady luck, i doubt it. im pretty sure the members with sources/are sources have stated that the icons are probably death and/or fate in one form or another. feel free to correct me if im wrong those of u with information. but we all wont defenitely know maybe until tuesday, maybe until august. we dont even know WHEN we'll know.

and for the thing house, if its happening, i guess im open to give it another try. i didnt like the original house at all i thought it was ok setwise amd awful scarewise. but maybe since the trailer looked decent for the new one the house will be good? i will only hope they dont waste an ss for a bad house(which imo theyve never done since 06).

i have no clue on disaster. it would be fantastic if those whove seen the facade to share very minimal details or clues about it if they could, or the interior sets, but for the pics and the codenames, fairytales sounds like it. i would love to see a house done in the woods. ive wanted a house like that for years. it has soo much potential, it could be kinda like the sz in jp with the people disguises with plants to blend in with the scenery, or the stuffed animals in chucky.

Looking at some of the construction pictures of Disaster! the house in that location looks a lot longer to me this year.

If we want to identify which house is where they are planing on storing the Thing..then maybe we should look for a house with a good ac system..since the setting is antartica

well all the ss's are nicely climate controlled im assuming the tents have ac as well and it can be used there obviously considring the first one was there. if we have one im fairly certain it wouldnt be in the parade or jaws. i hope we dont have a thing house i hated the first one nd the trailer looks a little underwhelming but not completely unfortunate. on one of the forums someone said that in that usf cast circle a rumors flying around that its a fear extraction based house, but its only at the rumor stage. could it be something based off the s & s theme but something different?

I know this may be farfetched and over thinking, but I did some research on the significance of death in Yorkshire

I think it is possible whatever house or whatever this hint is based on, may have one of these significant events as a basis for the story.
