  1. I really doubt there would be. Since Universal has switched to the appointment style. The only thing I can say is to keep checking the website often. Someone might cancel theirs and thus leaving a open spot. Also they might add another audition date (don't hold your breath).

I got a spot! I kept checking, and a spot opened up on the 17th at 9pm

  2. My only regret is not asking anyone else's name or getting numbers, so many awesome outgoing people there with similar interests. And they enjoyed listening to me blabber about this website and about all I knew of the impending audition.

What number were you at the audition? I was 535

  3. Well, didn't get in :( I wasn't too shocked, as the majority of females from my group were cut (I had a 4pm appointment, and was out by 4:30). And as we were told not to go back to another audition, I guess I will just have to cross my fingers if I get a call later on. If not...oh well. I'll just go every night as a guest

  4. Just curious about something- I was considering going to the parks before the audition, and parking in the parking deck. Is it possible to get to Human Resources (that's where it's held, right?) on foot? Or do I have to park right there because of distance

  5. Here is a general type of question that I have. I am only asking those who have already attended the auditions this year.

My appointment is for 4PM on the July, 12. Based on your expirience, when should I show up. I noticed leaving work at Uni the other day, that people were waiting in a qeue line outside HR. For those who have already auditioned this year, how early did you show up before your audition?

I can be there as early as 1PM, but its probably not needed. Just wondering. Thanks!!!

This is OT, but see you there! My audition is at 4pm too

  6. You actually dont pick either. There is nothing on the sheet specifically asking, Streets/House/Firecrew/ABU. It is all based off what your availability is along with how they cast you. We talk about putting Firecrew or ABU down as a preference. There is a space for role to be considered for.

Im somewhat confused as to what exactly your asking, meaning i dont know why you would want ABU if you have full availiabity and could just be cast straight up. Other than you just not wanting to work most of the event. Also, they are casting you for characters first before they even consider you for Firecrew.

Just PM me if this still isn't helping. We'll figure it out for you.

    Sending a PM

  7. I think your misunderstanding these two roles. ABU is given to people who do not have full availability through the run. Firecrew works every night of the event.

If your not looking to work in a house or street. You can write down firecrew as a preference. If you don't have full availability, then ABU is what you'd write.

Oh I know what the difference is. I just am not sure how the application works. I would love to get ABU if possible. However, I would pick both if it gets me a better shot of getting in. My question is- do you only pick one, and that's that. Or are you allowed to number everything in order that you would like (hence the example 1-ABU, 2-Firecrew, and so on).

I hope I worded it better this time

  8. I have a question- how does things work with the application for preferencing things (if done before the audition)? For example- take ABU and Firecrew. Do you only pick one and hope there is room? Or do you list them in order of what you would potentially like (so 1-ABU, 2-Firecrew, ect). Same for anything else

  9. Unless I'm mistaken, I think this is it. Should show you exactly where it is in relation to the parks.

Personally since I'm likely to be going to the parks anyway, might just park in the garages and then just walk around the [large] block to HR, similar to what I did last year.

Good idea! I most likely will be doing that too. Hopefully I won't get lost trying to find my way over there

  10. So I was just wondering something- I was told in the past, if you didn't make it at the first audition, you could audition again. Will this be the case again this year? And how would that work (as you have to sign up for audition spots)? I'm just trying to figure things out

  11. Who knows. I'm making an educated guess because of when it launched for the Reunion Audition. It's possible it will be earlier, but I honestly would doubt that. Fourteen days prior at about the same time of the day seems about right in my book. If anyone thinks I'm being crazy (or even if I'm wrong) I'll gladly stand corrected.

Sounds good. Thanks for your help!

  12. You have an opportunity to put what role you would like on the audition sheet (House, Streets, CS, ABU, Firecrew). The formal Chainsaws are, traditionally, the big scary guys. The Roving Saws from last year were actually left over ABUs who would just get drafted to roam. That's why it wasn't the "big" guys, just taller ones. In general, it doesn't make a huge difference what you request unless you're at the reunion audition. After that, they're just filling body-types they need in the holes they have as they walk through the door.

Question- is it possible to mark off everything listed (House, Streets, ABU, ect) if you don't care where placed? Because I don't mind any of the above- I would just love to be cast for HHN.
