This is awesome news. Thanks for sharing I'm really looking forward to this house. I think it could be something special. Im thinking the water effects won't get the floor wet as that would be a safety worry so now you got me wondering how they are using water. Can't wait.

Ok went to rehearsal for Forsaken last night and my scene is overwhelming. To answer some ppls questions YES there is water effects! By god there is water effects and so much more. At the beginning if running through the house getting explanation of the rooms and the story, they got better and better by the minute. The scene im in all im gunna say is this: Courtyard. Give you that to think about how that run will BLOW YOU AWAY!! The costumes are sick as hell and i'm completely STOKED to start working NOW!!! Gunna add that won't tell of my actual position in here till after employee preview so it doesnt spoil anything about this room

I can't say that i did enjoy assimilation(most likely cuz had a creepy guy trying to flirt around with my ex at the time during the house..)and it felt like it was a blur. It seemed like i ran through the whole house cuz it was like 2 mins to me but i do have to say loved the movie and was jealous at first to hear one of the people i worked with in Hades got a role in Thing and its also set in SS so thats good news all round. I'm not doubting anything about this house since they sound so awesome!

Thats usually the interesting thing about Auditions. You meet some pretty awesome people and enjoy yourself while you are waiting around it makes the time fly by
. To those who didnt make the cut, DO NOT lose hope! I didn't make the cut when i auditioned for XX last year and a month later i got a call to fill in a role and it took me by complete surprise! It is possible to get a call regardless of making it that night or not so just wait it out(if you choose to) and if you don't get that call then yes enjoy the event with friends its still a kick ass event . Also the people you may have met could be on this site so i recommend getting to know people here since from what i've seen, everyone is nice and fun to talk to here and theres plenty of convo starters on this site to go around . -

I turn 18 on July 30th, is there any way I can still audition? I'll be 18 literally 18 days after the first audition.
Auditions last through middle of August from what i saw last year. Even then im sure you can still go audtion and say your pretty much 18 and the event isnt for another 3 months so you should be fine.

I remember walking through the garages and seeing certain scareactor's vehicles...namely C_D/Brian's Bronco. That's a relief either way though.
Hmm, so with no official lockers, what do people do with their clothes when they go into costumes? I'm not afraid of anyone stealing my gear. I could lock my helmet and gloves to the bike itself...if someone stole my jacket, boots, pants, rain gear, whatever then I'd just ride home with my helmet and gloves. It'd just be nice to have somewhere to put those things rather than pile them on my bike.

As for knowing my social...the military ingrained it into my head long long ago lol.What we had before backstage for the Soundstages was cargo beds where they store all the tables and chairs and we all put our backpacks and bags etc in there. Some people brought their laptops and schoolwork and did homework during break sessions and there was never a instance where someone stole anything.

I guess I have the same mentality about HHN merch as I do like say if you have a shirt for a concert that you never went to or something like that. The reason I ask in the first place is because since I've been collecting, my girlfriend mentioned that I had never been to the events during those years, therefore why am I even buying them.

See it would be nice if they did it every year and just once in the whole event. I never got to see the isle of fear intro even though i got there at opening because i guess it was just for one time thing. It would be a nice to make a tradition out of that and have some fun with the guests before they even step in.

I had an idea where, for XX opening night, everyone from the SZ and houses would all gather at the front gate with fog machines making a huge wall behind us and that Fear would be in front of all of us making a speech to the guests as they stand there waiting to get in. As he wraps it all up, we can all start walking through the fog as we cackle,roar, scream, just plain be creepy as we start making our way to our places and of course they would give us atleast 15 mins in advance to get back to places so you wont waste all of your energy getting back and it would be JUST for opening night like an exclusive one time show. Of course it has its issues but damn it would be kickass to make the crowd feel overwhelmed with ghouls and psychos all standing in front of them as a mob of freaks and demons lead by the ultimate evil and we vanish into the fog as though we may still be there but when the guests come in we seem to vanish into the park to take it over for the night.

Listening to "Fear" by Disturbed and Seeing the Spinosaurus at IOA Reminds me of HHN Because i Listened to Fear in the house and my first time going to HHN they had a working spinosaurus in the Isle during isles of fear.

Don't expect any info to trickle out once the auditions start. The only hint we may get is if they ask if people are willing to shave their heads again. Last year, they flat out told all the auditioners, "We can't tell you anything. Sorry." They didn't even tell us details at orientation, other than some of the character names were coded ("Con Artist" was a clever one, I'll admit). You can look at the character names from last year, and they're all very vague or slightly misleading (except for Hades). I can tell you most of the "Doctors" in the Catacombs didn't realize we were "Plague Doctors" (and what that meant) until our rehearsal.
A&D really clamped down last year, and with the disappearance of Emeric, I'm inclined to believe that they are clamping down even more this year (considering he was our only source outside of people flat out breaking the rules and taking pictures back-stage). Essentially, all we'll be able to do is speculate on the "Rune Room" and "Roll the dice," knowing full well that they may not mean anything at all.
Hollywood already has the house code-names, straight from the designer. HoS has their big hint drop. I feel like Oliver Twist.

. I don't mind being surprised since the costumes are always kickass imo. I'm sure most of those people who got Doctor and then saw the plague doctor costumes went crazy. I know when i was assigned as army i was thinking of something completely different and then i saw that i was gunna look like a molten spartan i was pretty damn excited by then. -

I agree even if you did give it to the right department, i wouldn't doubt that they have gotten TONS of it before and have scrapped them even though they do love the fan mail. I like the exclusive feel to the icons that are seen only at the parks and at the same time there was a post here that talked about making the icons movies that be shown around the country and it would spark the peoples curiosity(given they loved the movie and want to dig into their bios of these chars)and find they are found only at HHN then ya it would bring in more people IF the movies are a hit which most people these days can shrug off horror films and let them turn into cheap dvds unrated next to the adult films shelf. Legacy made a better explanation earlier and this sort of junk im just typing this for the people who havent read the other page yet

If that were to be the case, does that mean The Storyteller would return?
Brand new slate this year so its a good chance that will be a no. My only guess that there can be SOME info(most likely no from most of you who have done this for years) at the reunion auditions since who knows a new year,new decade, could be a surprise to vets seeing a hint from there and not digging in the net or getting clues from the workers who are on board with the planning.

could add special actions during certain times of the night where a SZ would have something unique happen in their area that can be like something of a easter egg or perhaps add into a game for LT where you have some pparticular situation go on that works for that SZ or house and if your lucky to see it, it can give a type of clue of where to go find the next event. They wouldnt be SHOW like things just more of something that can stand out for a min or 2 in the SZ that can even be something to do with the main Icon thats manipulating the area (like with mary being in some of the houses every now and then) and it can lead to happening into a house. This would take good communication over those radios and good teamwork with scareactors and their leaders to give the order> It can also be randomized every night so it stays fresh and unpredictable for people who go multiple times.

id like a scene where for a zombie SZ you can have a actor dressed as a guest with fake organs and blood packs under the clothing and the zombies would chase this person down(given that the scareactors know their targets) and tackle them down and start ripping them apart and making the blood spill all over which then that actor as a guest will eventually rise as a zombie! Sounds like alot of fun and does have its flaws but fun to imagine. It can be used to make the atomosphere more intense for the time.

Ya we notice alot of the times people can see the eyes sure but that doesnt mean the scare is busted. Its not like you know exactly what we will do even though you do see us we still have a few tricks up our sleeves. its funny to see people NEVER notice me and i can get the same group up to 4 times if i wanted to even in plain sight. The eyes feel like a distraction from the rest of the body so that way you are not aware of what will happen since your staring into our beautiful emerald green eyes lol! I'm pushing it every night and enjoying every second! To my fellow Forsaken fight on!! ARRRRRGHH!!
