Mandy! I was there on Friday and right when I saw you I knew it was you lol!
You all did great it was awesome! Hopefully going to be going back sometime this month. (:
Long time no talk!
Ah I didn't even see you! Did I go up to you? I was actually just thinking about asking you if you went yet haha. Definitely come back and let me know what day!

I pass through these boys and girls a lot when going to and from our sets, and I love every bit of them. They get a ton of screams and send masses of people running for the hills, and their interactions with the Beasts as they pass through are adorable.
We love the Beasts, you guys are our favorite to interact with.

Just wanted to let you know that you were awesome last night and one of the fun ones to watch mess with people in your legion. I tried to tell you that last night when you did your whole twitch routine towards me, but I wanted to make sure you knew.
Thanks so much!

You bring the candy, Kathy - I'll bring the marzipan! I love the fox-masked traditional! So far, he is my favorite scareactor of the year. Who are you?
This was my most anticipated legion, but unfortunately, I can never find you. One day, I will follow you guys around to see the amazingness that I know you deliver! I have had only two interactions with this group (both with the fox-masked trick-or-treater) and some of my favorite memories thus far have come from this legion. I am most looking forward to interacting with you all!
I'm the ballerina with the kitty mask and weird twitch. The girl with the fox mask is hilarious! I'm glad you all are enjoying our legion so far, we're having a blast playing out there.

ive heard that uni let up a little on the photo taking restrictions. anybody confirm this?
That is correct, before we were told no stopping for photos at all. Now we're told if someone asks we're allowed to stop for a few seconds while they take the photo.

Are there any more hoodies?? Or are they gone forever??
When I asked yesterday at the Twister store they said there should be more Friday, but it seems like everyone has a different answer so not sure. I'm just going to keep checking at the stores.
-
Acid Assault doesn't have too much fog at all actually, near Twister there's a bit but not really by the building projections so you should be fine.

CONGRATS!!! HAVE FUN SCARING ME!!!
I also took a look at the set/constrction pics for this zone. I now retract all my skepticisim for this zone. Pretty sure it will be amazing, and I love how they went all out with the theming. No way will this be another Containment, truly psyched now!!!
Thank you! I'll definitely have fun scaring you!
Glad to see you're psyched for it now!

Well I just got switched over from being ABU to a full-time position in this scarezone. Hopefully we can surprise everyone!
-
I love the idea of Nightmaze. I hope it works out as planned because it seems like it has the potential to be awesome.
-
Universal just called me and asked if I'd like to be ABU. Of course I said yes, so excited!

I'm not a skinny girl, is this worth my time? I'm not huge but have curves. UGH, so distressed but have the car packed as I've heard many women are getting the boot by every group
When I say curves: size 10 jean, 40x34x36. Not huge but like i said curvy. I'm also 5'10' so i don't know how that will work for me/against me
I'm a size 0 and didn't cast, so I wouldn't worry about it. I say go give it a try, that way you have no what if's!

My group was asked who our favorite icon is. There were at least two people in my group that said some sort of superhero like Superman/Batman and they even asked us beforehand if we were all sure what they meant by favorite icon lol.
But yeah, it's super easy and I actually had a lot of fun! Most important thing to remember like everyone else is saying is they're looking for certain body types so don't take it personal if you don't get cast.

And the styling of the house. It is all rusted metal, rivets, water tanks and gears apparently. On top of the name "Horizons Extraction Facility"... with the clue I just can't see how it could not be.
Yeah when I went through the queue last week I saw what looked like a saw/gear prop through an opening in the black tarp.
-
They only chose 1 person in my group..
Same thing happened in my group. The guy that got cast was really tall.

Got mine for July 12th at 5:05 PM.

It was 1999, the year before I moved to FL. I was 8. My mom and older sister took a vacation to Universal without me to see HHN. When they came back, me being a horror loving child, I said I wanted to go. So we took a flight for 1 day, flew down in the afternoon, went to HHN, then flew back up the next morning. I fell in love with not only the overall atmosphere of the event itself, but the scareactors. They interacted with me SO much and I just loved it. I was really sick for weeks at the time and the only day I didn't get sick was when I was at HHN. The day I got home I was sick again. So the scareactors have held a very close place in my heart ever since. I've gone every year since 1999.

-When people push, scream, and yell through the chainlink fences with the green mesh on them in the Parade Building/Sprung Tent queue lines. (Obnixious)
-Smoking in the queue line.I have asthma, so that on top of all the fog isn't that great. (Health Hazard)
-Drunk guests destroying anything in the park. I also hate drunks rudely talking to a scareactor or a guest. I hate anying a drunk does. (Rude)
-Teens trying to get a drink. (Really)
-Girls that scream every single second. (Annoying)
-People that have no clue what they're going to. "Oh, hey. Let's go to that burnt down school haunted house! It's all smoky inside and there's all these little kids and everything. (Oh what they're missing)
-Little screaming babies, toddlers, or any child, unless they can fully handle it. (Bad Parenting)
-Line Cutters (Unfair)
I completely agree with all of these. Especially the chainlink fence thing and the drunks acting rude and being destructive. Or the people that just like to be an ass about everything at the event, drunk or not. Why bother going?

To those of you who always dis the tent houses, TAKE THAT!!
ITA!
Before the event even started people weren't so thrilled with this house and I love that it ended up being so many peoples' favorite and got HOTY. Great job at proving them wrong, DOWs! Congratulations, well earned!
This was my 11th year of HHN and Havoc is at the top of my list for favorite houses. The scareactors truly made this house, everytime I went through it was attack after attack and I loved every minute of it. I've never been through such an aggressive house! The effort you guys put out was amazing. Thank you for making this such an unforgettable house! And special thanks to Mr. Timeout of course, you owned that room.

Haven't made it through all the scarezones yet, so I'll do houses.
1. Hallow'd Past
2. Havoc
3. Hades
4. The Orfanage
5. ZombieGeddon
6. Catacombs
7. PsychoScareapy
8. Legendary Truth
Hey girl.
My rankings are the same as her's, except flip Hallow'd Past and Havoc. With that said, I think all houses are amazing this year and more important ALL scareactors are amazing. Love you all!

What she said basically, everyone that kept coming back to see us is what made it so awesome. You guys knew all of our characters so well that you could even tell us apart outside of costume. We LOVED seeing you guys because we knew you would give us the chance to go to extreme levels with our interactions which is fun for all of us. So thank you for helping with what has been the most fun HHN I have had!
