    When and Why Did You Go To HHN

    I had made some new friends and I had been going to the park a lot that year (2010) since I had just gotten an annual pass. They suggested that I try it out one night, so I decided I might as well. I was pretty shaky that night, but as soon as I left, I wanted to go back again ASAP. Unfortunately, the money wasn't there for it, so I only got to do one day. I was lucky enough to become an employee a month after HHN ended that year, so I got to go to every event night last year, and that's the plan for this year. It's so much fun.

    I didn't care all that much for the house on Wednesday, but I went through it again today and my opinion definitely changed. My friends and I were some of the first people in the house. There wasn't anyone else with us as we went through and we got all the scares. My friends scare easily, so it just ended up being an amazing runthrough. Everyone had so much energy and it was just awesome!

    I'm glad to see that Universal has FINALLY tried some different merchandise. I'm wowed but some of it but not all... that's okay though... I love the pins, shirts and vinyl fig. And Shalisa is going bonkers over the shirts. But why is it that the women's shirts which have less material and printed images go for more than the full t-shirt? hmmm

    Yeah, that's why I didn't get any of the female shirts. Just not worth it, plus they don't say Halloween Horror Nights on them (except the tags inside).

    I ended up buying just the hoodie and house shirt. I'll probably buy the Silent Hill cards later if they're more exciting than the cards last year.

    I heard about this before but I don't know if it's true and I'm aiming the question to the current employees, is employee's discount better than let's say Annual Passholder's discount on FFP+ because I heard it's the same but it seem more logical that they would have a better discount.

    We get the same discount on HHN tickets as Annual Passholders do.

    There was one of Vanity's minions tonight that MADE MY NIGHT! haha He was both scary and hilarious. He followed me through half the zone saying how he liked my face and wanted to cut it off and put it in a file cabinet under "F for favorite". You sir, were awesome! My boyfriend asked after "Did he know you?? Cause it seemed like he knew you."

    Did you know me? haha WHO ARE YOU??

    I had the same thing happen to me. :) Both of the Vanity minions got in on it and wouldn't let me pass! It was really entertaining. :)

    Last night, my friends and I were sitting on a bench and the Vanity minion came over and he told her he wanted to cut her face off. He asked her name and then he proceeded to come by a few more times and just say her name creepily. Loved it!

    Very interesting tonight!

    I was about halfway down the hall walking towards the soldier when it happened. When I finally got up to him, he was already back and telling people to hurry along. I swear that as I was turning the corner to go into the next room, I heard the audio that's played when it happens, so if I'm right, it literally happened twice within like 2 minutes?

    However, on my first run, I didn't see the effect happen.

    Wait, what is he doing in that video? It looks like he's miming a lightsaber fight and then stabbing a guy. :P

    He has the bow and he's trying to get the arrow in it so he can shoot him, but he was too fidgety so he wasn't able to get it, so he just stabs him with the arrow.

    The hats have apparently been reordered and are slightly different. The holes on top are stictched in white and the red stitching is completely absent... also the hat is jet black rather the faded black of before. and the girls shirt has been changed as well.
