  1. Just to clarify, it seems that the 9th house will be in one of the Shrek theaters. The Building has two theaters in in that are fairly sizable, and the other one would continue operating as Shrek 4-D on a daily basis. They would remove the seats and most likely use the existing extended queue as queue space.

Now which house is going in here I have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised if some of our location spec is way off.

According to rumors, Scream will be the house inside the Shrek theatre.

  2. Call me crazy, but I think this out of the box property could be Game of Thrones. Dr. Jimmy posted a series of pictures a couple weeks ago hinting to Orlando's lineup, and it matched up perfectly with the leaked list of houses. Right after that he posted some pictures that I think could've linked to Hollywood's line up. Amongst those pictures was a promo pic for Crimson Peak and a picture of the iron throne from Game of Thrones. Just throwing the idea out there, as it fits the criteria for "out of the box" pretty well!

  3. Soundstages- American Werewolf (Probably back in 22), Insidious, PS vs BC ("Blizzard"), and FvJ

Tents - Scream and Alice 3D

Disaster - RUN 3 (Seems like the most obvious besides Werewolf)

Parade - Walking Dead Season 5

    New Location - Hallow'd Past 2

Not confident in this. Walking Dead could be anywhere at this point. Insidious could end up in a tent, thus allowing Hallow'd Past in a SS...in my opinion. In that case, I would put Alice 3D in Parade, because I recall the "Things under the bed" / LT house rumored for SS 22 last year was meant to be 3D. So I think 3D would be fine in Parade.

Those locations seem very possible. Now that Alice is confirmed to be 3D, it's definitely going in a tent. Scream could work in a tent exactly like Halloween did. Seeing as they were originally planning the 9th house to be in a new tent, and that got scrapped, I'm thinking it will be in a SS, giving us 5 SS houses total.

EDIT: Nvm, just saw JDW's post confirming a third tent.

  4. Gonna give the scarezones a shot:

Halloween Spark: Trick or Treaters/Traditionals in Central Park

Crazy Train Nark: Derailed train of Shadybrook inmates OR Derailed train of carnival freaks in New York

Duhs on Stage Hood: Icons photo op zone in Hollywood

Bookies Proc: Steampunk fairy tales in Production Central

Technicolor Transition Coast: Classic Monsters in Mel's Dine In area

Mystery: some sort of sci fi related zone in Sting Alley

  5. Interesting speculations there.

But I thought the one for Blizzard was the frozen over MacDonald's sign?

And what about the naked man with the cow?

    Or the giant puppy?

Hmmmm, interesting. Perhaps those pictures are referring to roaming hoards? Or hinting to where the 9th house has been relocated to? Or they could be for Hollywood's event, as I could see them getting Crimson Peak and possibly Game of Thrones as their "out of the box" property. That's a stretch though lol.
  6. Dr. Jimmy posted some pictures on his tumblr that could link to his cryptic performances, similar to what he did last year. Going by the pictures, I'm gonna give it a shot:

Cryptic #1: The Walking Dead (house)

Cryptic #17: Original based on great blizzard of 1888

  7. Dr. Jimmy's Cryptic video #15 could be a reference to baseball player Rabbit Maranville, because there's a book on the famous player titled "Run, Rabbit, Run". This also ties into Unknown's 5th cryptic comment on the Orlando Informer forums, whos hints were "baseball hat" and "bunny". Rabbit Maranville was from Springfield, Massachusetts, where a couple was put on trial for witchcraft 40 years before the Salem trials. So perhaps an original house based on the Springfield/Salem witch trials?

  8. Overall my favorite house this year after attending the event 3 times is Hades: Gates of Ruin. Amazing facade, great sets and costumes. Amazing detail throughout the entire house. And the scares in here are just ridiculous (Minotaur and Medusa get me every time). In my opinion this house blows every house from 2009 out of the water. Don't know how they're gonna top this one next year!

  9. I absolutely LOVE this house. Ive been going to HHN since 2007, and this is easily the best Facade I've ever seen them do. As soon as you walk in the soundstage, you feel like your walking into a haunted mansion. I loved all the effects, and managed to catch them all 4 times I went through this house. While I do agree they could've done a better job with the masks, and some of the scareactor hiding spots are very noticible, they do the best with what they got. And wow, I never knew chairs could be so terrifying. Great job guys!!!

  10. I have to say this house is my favorite of the year. Its a good mix of everything. The scares are fantastic, the costume and set designs are amazing. And the facade gives me chills everytime I walk through! Ive done this house 4 times already, and everytime I go through it feels like the first time. Although I must agree on there being too much stuff hanging in the way. And they couldve had an epic ending adding something to that empty throne. But everything else was just amazing. And btw, the Menotaur who was in the house at about 645 on the 3rd last night, you got me and my sister reallllllllly good and blocked our path

  11. Last weekend I went through this house once and it didnt really stand out to me. The concept itself really didnt catch my attention. I went to the event last night and gave this house another go, and I must say its definetly one of my top 3 favorite houses now. Scares were coming left and right non stop and the scareactors were really into their roles and really intense and in your face. I loved it, did it twice and was not dissapointed at all. Im guessing last weekend I just didnt get alot of the scares and the scareactors were still getting used to their spots. My first time going through last night was at about 730. Whichever cast is in the house at that time, you guys were AMAZING. Big soldier with the football pads gave me my biggest scare of the night! Great job juys!
