The Thing wasn't really cheesy in my opinion. It took an old movie and transformed it into a house. A very good house at that. A&D is great at taking a concept that could be cheesy and transforming it into an experience that can be found frightful. I have high hopes for this year. Don't crush my dreams Universal

When I think of HHN at IOA, I think of Dementors and death-eaters in Harry Potter island. But other than that, there isn't much that could be done at IOA.
I think having scareactors everywhere could be amazing.
Parking lot, rides, restaurants, hotels, etc.
Here's to hoping

Opening weekend fo' sho'
Who else, probably everyone, will be there opening weekend?

That first church picture and the sprung tent facade look like the steeple and the facade could match up nicely. But the colors are different... I'm lost.

Some of the traps I see being used are the reverse beartrap headtrap in the first, the pit of syringes and the furance trap.
While I see the head trap and the furnace being very plausible traps in the house, the syringes could be tricky. To film the movie, they had her in a pit of REAL syringes(they didn't have anything in them of course.) It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I can't wait.

If we didn't feel that way, then we probably wouldn't be members on here. We would probably care less about the website, which we got excited about when the event isn't for a few more months. I love HHN

8 houses
I don't see any purpose in a parade

As much as this list keeps changing, I'm not sure it's at all accurate. But I agree with Reaper. Whatever happens, we can trust A&D to do a great job.

Legendary Truth is free but doesn't offer as much insight to the inner workings of the event as the Unmasking the Horror Tour does. I can't choose one as they are both good ways to delve deeper into the history and backstory of the event. My vote is for LT because it's free, so anyone can be involved and they can feel like they are part of HHN history. But the Unmasking the Horror Tour is a very very close second.

Any bets on FireCrew for me again?
My bet is that you will be a Frankenstein

I wasn't on here yesterday and I might not even be home for the rest of the weekend. Last night was graduation, followed by me and some friends going to parties and crashing on a couch together with some hot girls. We woke up this morning all groggy and went to burger king to grab breakfast. Right now I'm at home but I'm leaving soon to keep partying. This weekend is a nonstop party. So much fun.

This was brought up last year by people on the forum just as an idea and nobody liked it so I doubt it would ever be fabricated as a house.
-
They said the reason for the existence of some things on the Legendary Truth website was to see how thoroughly we would investigate and speculate. This being said, I believe this clue(whether it is from a reliable source or not) that there is information hidden in the current placeholder website could be quite plausible. Shall we look into it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't it say "More information coming early June"?
Now it just says "More information coming in June"

I have a feeling SZ will come back this yr but they wont be called SZ's
Why do you say this?
Roberto, SZ = Scarezone

Oh there's no doubt that they are hiding clues on the website. I particularly liked the '91 video with Frankenstein, Dracula, etc.

Halloween ball?

I found the Thing to be very well done and I had excellent timing through that house. And Jason's house was my favorite. Overall, a well done year.

THIS IS FREAKING AMAZING!
Okay so I was just watching Home Improvement while waiting for George Lopez to come on. It went to the commercials and I wasn't looking but I head music I recognized and looked up. It was a Subway commercial. But what music was playing? The psycoscareapy music!

This place isn't the Vault everyone should be able to talk freely here and everyone here I think has respect for each other, it's not like your gonna get bashed to hell or something.
This is 100% true. HorrorNightNightmares is a place for free, open minded discussion. Any opinion or info is welcome on here as long as it is friendly and constructive.

well...if we take a look at the website for hollywood its been updated...not with any information but with a....holding picture if you will...what is it? its the info about come back next year blah blah blah but its written on a metal like thing...and it looks like what you see on a saw...if you go to the interview it says their bringing saw to LA and Orlando...so if its on the LA website then it probably means jigsaw is a very possible go in orlando...this is just my opinion but i think we will be seeing saw this year. maybe not as the icon or mascot, but im 9% sure we will see it.
Did you mean 99%?
And I agree that Saw is a huge possibility

After watching this, I have a sneaking suspicion that Universal was dropping us a hint about this year.

The beginning should be enough for you to know what I mean.

About those hands behind the glass, those are used by A&D so much. Just look at that hhn archive that was on the site before this teaser. It was there too. It was even on the original archive.
Now about that supposed face that is seen behind the glass, we shouldn't look for things like that like we did last year. I am, however, very excited about this year. My faith in A&D has been renewed
